The association between COVID-19, ABO blood group system and Rhesus needs to be explored in order to suggest a model of the mechanism linked to SARS CoV2 infection. A retrospective case-control association study was performed on the different regions of Morocco and carried out on a population of size n = 5039 including a total of 4268 COVID-19 patients and 771 control groups. The differences in the Rh/ABO blood group distribution between COVID-19 patients and the control group were analyzed. The relationship between ABO blood type, sexes, Rhesus and COVID-19 characteristics was analyzed. The analyzes of association between the blood group and the infection related to SARS CoV2 showed a statistically significant difference in the individuals of groups B, O, AB) respectively, but not blood group A. In addition, patients with the Rh+ phenotype are less vulnerable to infection therefore the latter are considered to have a protective effect, however the Rh- categories are more vulnerable to infection so they are risk factors. Blood type was related to some clinical characteristics of patients with COVID-19. The presence of the A and B antigens increase the risk of infection with SARS COV2. While the presence of anti A and anti B antibodies makes group O protector against infection. Patients with the Rh+ phenotype are less vulnerable to infection than Rh-therefore these are considered to have a protective effect which is the presence of the D antigen in red blood cells.

In the field of pediatric treatment, genetic counseling is an essential instrument for lowering the prevalence of oncological disorders and uncommon diseases. The primary objective of this inquiry was to conduct a thorough literature analysis with the purpose of acquiring the most recent information on genetic counseling in the field of pediatrics. According to the findings of the investigation, the increased significance of genetic counseling can be attributed to the fact that technology improvements that can be implemented at each stage of the counseling process have contributed to the process. The identification of rare illnesses and oncology situations, such as retinoblastoma, can be accomplished with the astounding assistance of genetic counseling. Genetic counseling can be done to provide premarital information on genetic problems in order to reduce the likelihood of developing future illnesses such as thalassemia. This can be accomplished by utilizing genetic counseling. Genetic counseling is a vital practice that gives families and healthcare practitioners the ability to make well-informed decisions regarding an individual's health.

Introduction: Patent urachus refers to a rare condition called urachus anomaly. These conditions are caused by the failure of the normal fetal tissue used to empty the fetal bladder to degenerate. Some of these urachal abnormalities are obvious at birth, while others are more subtle and are not diagnosed until adulthood or are discovered only incidentally after imaging for other reasons. Urachal anomalies in children with wet umbilical cord, persistent drainage, recurrent urinary tract infections, and recurrent umbilical cord infections require accurate and timely diagnosis to help relieve symptoms, prevent recurrent serious infections, and ensure timely treatment. Clinical case: The case of a 7-month-old male patient is presented. The mother reports umbilical granuloma of several months of evolution. He goes to a doctor where he suggests an ultrasound examination that rules out persistence of urachus. Mass in umbilical region persists, which is why she comes again. Evolution: By laparoscopic vision, umbilical hernia plus persistence of urachus is evident, findings such as the presence of indirect bilateral inguinal hernia are found. After surgery, the patient recovered satisfactorily. Conclusions: Diagnosis of urachal anomalies can be elusive, but continued drainage of the umbilical cord is a concern in the case of urachal anomalies. Although this condition is usually an isolated finding, the possibility of posterior urethral valves in infants with a patent urachus should not be ruled out.

Onchocerciasis is a parasitic disease that affects millions of animals and people around the world. A recipe based on Vitellaria paradoxa is used in traditional medicine against this disease in Chad. The objective of this study was to evaluate the antiparasitic activities of extracts from the roots, fruits, leaves and bark of Vitellaria paradoxa on the parasitic nematode Onchocerca ochengi, a model similar to Onchocerca volvulus used in the research of control drugs. against onchocerciasis. The identification of parasites and the hydroethanolic extracts of the different planar organs were carried out at the Laboratory of Research, Diagnostics and Scientific Expertise (LaboReDES) of the Faculty of Human Sciences, University of N'Djamena using the methods of Ndjonka et al., 2012. The extracts of this plant were tested at different concentrations (0.1; 0.2; 0.3; 0.4 mg/mL) in the RPMI-1640 culture medium. The antiparasitic activity was noted according to the mortality rate after 72 hours of incubation of Onchocerca ochengi at 37°C. The LC50 values were then graphically determined at the end of this incubation. They were 0.05 mg/mL for the roots; 0.06 mg/mL for fruits; 0.05 mg/mL for the leaves and 0.06 mg/mL for the bark. These results confirm the effectiveness of Vitellaria paradoxa used in traditional medicine to treat parasitosis. This plant also has the same effects as ivermectin. The V. paradoxa root test on microfilariae shows an LC50 value of 0.05 mg/mL in 24 hours of incubation. This study showed that the hydroethanolic extracts of the bark of Vitellaria paradoxa had antiparasitic activities, allowing the development of a new molecule active against these parasitic infections and also the extracts of this plant could be used as alternatives to treat infections in case of parasite resistance to ivermectin.
