Acoustic birefringence at electromagnetic excitation of sound in iron borate crystals 硼酸铁晶体中电磁激发声的双折射

In the antiferromagnetic single crystal of iron borate the effect of electromagnetic generation of the sound of transverse polarization is studied. In an external magnetic field the acoustic birefringence is detected. Data on the magnitude of magnetoelastic gap are obtained.

Laser Scanning Microscopy of superconducting electromagnetic metamaterials 超导电磁超材料的激光扫描显微镜

Sub-wavelength superconducting rf meta-materials have evident advantages over their normal metal counterparts for strong diamagnetism, low-loss and intrinsically nonlinear tunability with temperature, dc magnetic, and rf electromagnetic field. These microwave properties are uniquely controlled through the spatial distribution of super-fluid density in the superconductor. The technique of low-temperature Laser Scanning Microscopy (LSM) is applied to investigate local contribution of these effects onto global rf response of superconducting meta-materials having different geometry of artificially structured magnetic meta-atoms. The main capabilities of the LSM technique for noncontact spatially resolved characterization of such structures are reviewed.

Three-frequency resonances in single-mode systems 单模系统中的三频共振

We review recent results on the interaction of low- and high-frequency oscillations that lead to arising of three-frequency resonances in nonlinear oscillators. The Duffing oscillator and the Van der Pol oscillator both with modulated natural frequency and a high-frequency harmonic forcing are considered as examples to illustrate and study this phenomenon. It is shown that such interaction enables an efficient control of the oscillators dynamics and their properties. The formation of bistable states and synchronous oscillations is considered in detail.

Elecrodynamic features and design of filter based on HTS E-plane insert in a cross waveguide 基于HTS e平面插入交叉波导滤波器的电动力学特性及设计

This paper presents the results of the designing Ka-band band-pass filter with HTS E-plane insert in the cross waveguide. Mainly electromagnetic features of the proposed filter are presented. The approach to the design of the filter is used based on the results of the characteristics analysis of two coupled resonators in a chain of multiple coupled resonators formed by E-plane insert in the cross waveguide.

Testing the speed of FFT/IFFT using the NVIDIA graphics cards 使用NVIDIA显卡测试FFT/IFFT的速度

The article shows the limits in the processing speed which are achieved by the modern NVIDIA graphics cards (GPUs). Also the level of the computational errors that registered with FFT and inverse FFT at different plans of their implementation is considered and the absence of distortion type jitter is fixed. A comparison of the speed of the spectral analysis of large data sets using different plans and GPUs NVIDIA GeForce 660M and 680 was made.

Microwave spectrometer for Rydberg state atoms: Last improvements 里德伯态原子微波光谱仪:最新改进

The results of essential improvement of the microwave spectrometer for investigation of spectra of Rydberg state atoms are presented. The spectrometer was equipped by a new time domain (waveform) acquisition system, which allowed us to apply time selection of useful signal. Such solution significantly improved signal-to-noise ratio of recorded spectra. The result of test measurement of a microwave transition between Rydberg states of magnesium atom is presented.

Microwave phase-locking of two weakly-coupled spin-torque nano-oscillators with random eigen parameters 具有随机特征参数的两个弱耦合自旋力矩纳米振荡器的微波锁相

Microwave dynamics of the system of two weakly-coupled spin-torque nano-oscillators (STNOs) was analyzed. It was shown that synchronization criterion of such STNO system is a small variation of the modulus of the complex order parameter over time. Using this criterion a microwave synchronization of STNOs with random eigen frequencies (Gaussian distribution) and initial phases (rectangular distribution) has been studied numerically.

The purpose of the project is determination of the specific horizontal and full vertical atmospheric attenuation for millimeter band radio waves, their cumulative functions, as well as the statistical parameters of its variations over the different regions of Ukraine taking into account the factors of seasonal and weather variability. The lack of information on this issue negatively affects for future 5G communication systems development.

Methodical features of dark objects detection by using gravitational refraction 利用引力折射探测暗天体的方法特征

We investigate the possibility of discovering the dark space objects by bending action of their gravitational field on the trajectory of a passing light. Considering the large distances between reference radiation sources and their small angular dimensions, we propose a very simple algorithm for solving the inverse problem of tomographic detection of dark objects.

Stimulating effect of the terahertz band electromagnetic radiation 太赫兹波段电磁辐射的刺激效应

Mobility of human buccal epithelium cell nuclei was investigated using the method of intracellular micro-electrophoresis before and after the influence of the terahertz gas laser. As the result of the experiments it was noted a substantial variation of electrophoretic activity of the nuclei that witnessed for a stimulating effect of the terahertz band electromagnetic radiation.
