In this paper, suppose that a, c ∈ ℂ {0}, cj ∈ ℂ(j = 1, 2, ⋯, n) are not all zeros and n ≥ 2, and f(z) is a finite order transcendental entire function with Borel finite exceptional value or with infinitely many multiple zeros, the zero distribution of difference polynomials of f(z + c) − afn(z) and f(z)f(z + c1) ⋯ f(z + cn) are investigated. A number of examples are also presented to show that our results are best possible in a certain sense.

This study investigates the suction and magnetic field effects on the two-dimensional nanofluid flow through a stretching/shrinking sheet at the stagnation point in the porous medium with thermal radiation. The governing partial differential equations (PDEs) are converted into ordinary differential equations (ODEs) using the similarity transformation. The resulting ODEs are then solved numerically by using the bvp4c solver in MATLAB software. It was found that dual solutions exist for the shrinking parameter values up to a certain range. The numerical results obtained are compared, and the comparison showed a good agreement with the existing results in the literature. The governing parameters’ effect on the velocity, temperature and nanoparticle fraction fields as well as the skin friction coefficient, the local Nusselt number and the Sherwood number are represented graphically and analyzed. The variation of the velocity, temperature and concentration increase with the increase in the suction and magnetic field parameters. It seems that the thermal radiation effect has increased the local Sherwood number while the local Nusselt number is reduced with it.

In this paper, we consider the fixed point theorem for Proinov mappings with a contractive iterate at a point. In other words, we combine and unify the basic approaches of Proinov and Sehgal in the framework of the complete metric spaces. We consider examples to illustrate the validity of the obtained result.

In this paper, the multiple parametric Marcinkiewicz integral operators with mixed homogeneity along surfaces are studied. The Lp-mapping properties for such operators are obtained under the rather weakened size conditions on the integral kernels both on the unit sphere and in the radial direction. The main results essentially improve and extend certain previous results.

The model of a locally resonant (LR) epoxy/PZT-4 phononic crystal (PC) nanobeam with “spring-mass” resonators periodically attached to epoxy is proposed. The corresponding band structures are calculated by coupling Euler beam theory, nonlocal piezoelectricity theory and plane wave expansion (PWE) method. Three complete band gaps with the widest total width less than 10GHz can be formed in the proposed nanobeam by comprehensively comparing the band structures of three kinds of LR PC nanobeams with resonators attached or not. Furthermore, influencing rules of the coupling fields between electricity and mechanics, “spring-mass” resonator, nonlocal effect and different geometric parameters on the first three band gaps are discussed and summarized. All the investigations are expected to be applied to realize the active control of vibration in the region of ultrahigh frequency.

In the article, we prove that the inequalities
$${H_p}({cal K}(r),{cal E}(r)) > {pi over 2},,,,,,,{L_q}({cal K}(r),{cal E}(r)) > {pi over 2}$$
hold for all r ∈ (0, 1) if and only if p ≥ −3/4 and q ≥ −3/4, where Hp(a, b) and Lq(a, b) are respectively the p-th power-type Heronian mean and q-th Lehmer mean of a and b, and ({cal K}(r)) and ({cal E}(r)) are respectively the complete elliptic integrals of the first and second kinds.
本文证明了不等式$${H_p}({cal K}(r),{cal E}(r)) > {pi over 2},,,,,,,{L_q}({cal K}(r),{cal E}(r)) > {pi over 2}$$对所有r∈(0,1)成立,当且仅当p≥−3/4和q≥−3/4,其中Hp(a, b)和Lq(a, b)分别是a和b的p次幂型Heronian均值和q次Lehmer均值,({cal K}(r))和({cal E}(r))分别是第一类和第二类完全椭圆积分。

Consider a generalized model of the facilitated exclusion process, which is a one-dimensional exclusion process with a dynamical constraint that prevents the particle at site x from jumping to x + 1 (or x − 1) if the sites x − 1, x − 2 (or x + 1, x + 2) are empty. It is non-gradient and lacks invariant measures of product form. The purpose of this paper is to identify the invariant measures and to show that they satisfy both exponential decay of correlations and equivalence of ensembles. These properties will play a pivotal role in deriving the hydrodynamic limit.
