Borrowing words from other languages is a common way to enliven and enrich Chinese as well as English and other languages in the world.Based on an analysis of the theoretical grounds,forms and applications of loan words(or borrowed words) in Chinese,this paper points out that loan words will not affect the purity of Chinese at all and that we should absorb the loan words with an open mind.
