The available experimental data pertaining to the nuclear structure of nuclei with A=232 are compiled; the results from various decay and reaction measurements are compared and evaluated. Adopted values, comparison with theory, arguments for assignment of Jπ and Nilsson quantum numbers, and explanations of adopted decay schemes are given. Inconsistencies and discrepancies in the level schemes are discussed.
The adopted level and decay properties are based on data received before August 1970. Data received between April and July have been added in proof.

Detailed level schemes based on available experimental data are presented for all nuclei with mass number A = 49. Experimental data, adopted values, comparisons with theory and arguments for Jπ-assignments are given. A summary of bases for Jπ-assignments can be found at the beginning of this issue.
The fragmentation of the isobaric analog resonances in 49Sc and 49V and the unusual γ-decay properties of the various components are among the distinguishing features of this mass chain.
Papers published during just the last three years account for 60% of the 130 papers cited and the lion's share of the numerical data. This compilation is based on data received before April 1970. Data received during May 1970 have been added in proof.

Level schemes, spin and parity assignments, and decay properties are presented for all nuclei with mass number A = 45. Experimental data and adopted values are given along with conclusions as to the best spin and parity assignments. The presentation of the nuclear properties is given in the light of the data and current theoretical ideas. Inconsistencies in the data are discussed wherever they are noted by the compiler.
While a few levels in each of the A = 45 nuclei appear to be well represented as ‘shell model’ states, it is clear that there are many more low-lying states than have been accounted for by model calculations.
Few data exist as regards high-spin states (J > 7/2) expected in this region. No gamma-decay data have been reported for 45K levels. The fine structure of isobaric analog levels in 45Ti has not been examined.
All the tabulated C2S and C2S' direct-reaction strengths are derived from distorted-wave Born approximation reaction theory. The reader is referred to the individual papers for details of the calculations.
The adopted level and decay properties are based on data received before March 1970.
