Cotton Fertility 棉花生育

 Routine soil testing is important to develop a fertility program in cotton.  Maintaining soil pH in the 6.0 to 6.5 range helps to optimize nutrient availability for cotton growth.  Split applications of nitrogen can be a better management approach than a single preplant application.  Foliar fertilization of nutrients like nitrogen, potassium, and boron can be used to supplement soil applications as needed as determined by petiole sampling.
