. Arabs in general and Saudis in particular have a very traditional view of the role of gender in society. Previously, leadership in the western context was characterized by men taking over leadership positions when leading from the front. However, currently, there have been significant steps taken by various movements to preach gender equality leading to the rise in women in leadership positions. However, things are slightly different as women are given opportunities to engage in critical decision making in society. In Arab nations, there are more women occupying government positions than other regions in the world. In Saudi Arabia, things are different as organizations continually look for potential individuals who can learn from experiences and take leadership positions. On the issue of women, they receive obstacles in getting knowledge that will enable them to acquire leadership positions.

. The objective of this investigation was identifying the lifestyles of the postgraduate students of the Universidad Santo Tomás - Colombia. For the WHO (2013), lifestyles are considered as a general form of human being's life centered in the interaction of life conditions and individual patterns of behavior. This research is a quantitative descriptive interpretative study. The sample was confirmed by 186 postgraduate students, of which 53% were men (n=99) and 47% were women (n=87), with age 35.5±14.5 years and who studied the academic space of Humanism, Society and Ethics during the first semester of 2020. A self-administration questionnaire with 15 questions on the Likert Scale proposed by Nahas (2013) was used to evaluate nutritional factors, physical activity, preventive behavior, social relations, and stress control. The results showed a negative lifestyle index is evidenced by postgraduate students in the variables of nutritional factors, physical activity and preventive behavior, which are part of the individual behaviors involved in daily life; on the other hand, a positive lifestyle index is presented in the variables of social relations and stress control, where students feel satisfied with their friendships and try to set aside time to relax. It is necessary to offer spaces through the university welfare that offer to the postgraduate students, programs of promotion and prevention of the health; likewise, to promote the conscience of a healthy lifestyle within the classes that are offered in postgraduate courses, so that these have a direct incidence in the integral formation of the students.

. Railway developments have drastic effects on the economy and daily lives of citizens, and a large number of countries compete to make investments on them. One of the challenges of railway developments is land acquisition. It requires a long-period of negotiation and vast amounts of money, but at the same time, it often causes protests from affected inhabitants. Delays in land acquisition result in the suspension of projects and a loss of revenues. It is possible that inhabitants suffer from inhumane treatment from authorities to implement land acquisition. Therefore, it is necessary to explore solutions in order to implement land acquisition smoothly. This paper discusses significance and challenges of railway developments and land acquisition, and suggests the importance of 1) creating an independent organisation specialised in railway projects, 2) delivering benefits to those affected as incentives and 3) developing partnership between stakeholders. It analyses three cases in their process, evaluation and effects: 1) The Mumbai Urban Transportation Project (MUTP), 2) The Tsukuba-Express Line (TX) and 3) Crossrail. These cases are common in that they employed a new organisation, provided benefits to inhabitants and needed coordination with a large number of stakeholders. Through the case study, this paper aims to gain lessons and make recommendations. The recommendations are 1) establish a specialised organisation, 2) empower local communities, 3) combine railway developments with urban developments and 4) provide information for inhabitants.
