What are real problems of older adults and how to solve it with smart home devices? 老年人真正的问题是什么?如何用智能家居设备解决这些问题?

In this article the authors wish to address the issues related everyday challenges encountered by older adults, and how these issues can be addressed through smart one devices. Smart house technology, and ambient solutions are an established and developing technology. It was already applied in both research and practical settings. However, the authors claim, that too little was done in order to address to role of smart home devices in improving the quality of life among older adults. In this article, the authors present a smart home framework design which aims to address this issue. The framework presented consists of components which, by monitoring of various elements of the house hold, aim to help older adults in improving the safety of their household. The framework and its implementation are presented in detail, and conclusions are presented as to what aspects of design are important to address the vulnerabilities of older adults.

Power spectrum analysis of pseudo-random pulses sequence 伪随机脉冲序列的功率谱分析

This article demonstrates the analysis of power spectrum by applying a channel code with ranged pulses sequence. The models types taken for this analysis represent a “raised cosine” type and a rectangular pulses type. The study shows that the application of the code 8b/10b makes it possible to limit the spectrum of the signal in the zero-frequency area. The article contains the results of applying the developed analytical method as well as mathematical modeling towards the power spectrum of the signals concerned.
