A Study of Association Between Emotional Intelligence and Social Competence Among College Students: A Comparative Study of Day-Scholars and Hostellers 大学生情绪智力与社会能力的关系研究:寄宿学生与走读生的比较研究

The paper is a discussion around positive association between emotional intelligence and social competence. It is a topic that has been become important for modern psychology. It is something that addresses the whole person and inform the overall success of the people in the same. A plausible study is suggested to conduct with 50 students of which 25 living in hostels and 25-day scholars. The students can be selected between the age of 18-21 years for this analysis with some conditions to meet on day day-scholarship and hostel living tenure. Such research would be suitable for to inform whether which group of students are better equipped with their emotions and social competence.

Study of Financial Inclusion among Rural Household 农村家庭普惠金融研究

This study examines the factor associated with financial inclusion during the time of the pandemic in rural area. Hundred sample of two states in India- 97 from Madhya Pradesh and 3 from Bihar were surveyed. Data on financial inclusion were analysed by using binary logistic regression. Finding suggest that financially inclusive have more monthly income, belong to forward caste having no ration card are more motivated towards operating bank account, having saving in the post office, avail credit loan and for less period of time, even in instalment having fixed deposit, having insurance policy that to off different types, aware of ATM use, having ATM card, having net banking facility, mobile banking facility, aware of direct cash transfer schemes, aware of no frill account, interest on bank loan, having Aadhar card which is linked with bank account, find difficulty in operating banking facility and belong to male category. This improvement occurred after 73 year of independence and had accelerated after new economic policy.

Women Education and Women Empowerment: Finding the Link for Societal Development 妇女教育和妇女赋权:寻找社会发展的联系

Education is a critical instrument for enhancing women`s standing in any society. It is essential because it allows women to learn about the world, which helps them improve their position, build positive self-esteem, self-confidence, and the necessary strength to tackle life`s obstacles. As a result, educated women play an important role in politics, agriculture, industry, and commerce for the development of nations. Education is an important factor in women`s empowerment. Education provides women with the skills and knowledge they need to alter their civilizations. Education provides women with the cognitive abilities they need to contribute to national progress on a social, political, and economic level. Policymakers and other stakeholders should prioritise the empowerment of women via education in order to achieve economic, social progress and development of the country.

Reliability and Validity Assessment of Almutairi’s Critical Cultural Competence Scale Almutairi关键文化能力量表的信效度评估

Many attempts have been made to measure practitioners’ cultural competence in such a diverse area as nursing and health care. However, we find little to no evidence of such an attempt in the field of social work. In many studies, the Critical Cultural Competence Scale developed by Almutairi had proved to promote well being, equity and safety of practitioners, their family and service providers with the strong evidence for its psychometric properties. This paper presents the reliability and validity assessment of adapted Almutairi’s Critical Cultural Competence Scale (CCCS) for Indian context with 33 social work practitioners of National Capital Territory (NCT) of India practicing in different fields. For examining the validity, face validity and readability were assessed, and Cronbach’s Alpha was used to assess reliability. The final refined 3 component, 35 items scale is consistent with the three-factor measurement models in the most academic literature on the subject.

Factors Predicting Job Satisfaction Among Managers in Voluntary Organization 志愿组织管理者工作满意度的预测因素

This study examines the factors associated with job satisfaction among managers in voluntary organizations. 100 samples were collected across India were surveyed. Data on job satisfaction were analyzed with using binary logistic regression. Findings suggest that job satisfied managers had more transparency in the organization, had delegation of authority, working environment, roles and responsibilities, had enough manpower which devote time in giving performance for the organization, get compensation that too adequate and better on performance appraisals. The implications of the study are discussed.

Indigenous People and Communities: The Role of Social Workers as Human Rights Workers 土著人民和社区:社会工作者作为人权工作者的作用

Indigenous people are the members of a group of people whose ancestors have lived in the same land since the time immemorial. While there is no universally recognized definition of indigenous people, but according to the United Nations Indigenous people are inheritors and practitioners of unique culture and the ways of relating to people and environment. They consist of a non-dominant group of people that share a common pre-colonial history with a culture, language, and belief system that is separate and distinct from the dominant social group within the larger society. The UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples demonstrates the general consensus of the international community of support for the rights of indigenous people. Following points are mentioned in this article such as characteristics of indigenous people and, how social workers can move towards more empowering, rights based practice that develops individual and community capacity. Social Work curriculums across the nation all devote a significant amount of time and focus to looking at skills for working with Indigenous people and communities in the context of historical, social, economic and cultural considerations, so that the social workers of tomorrow are well acquainted in issues that impact on their Indigenous clients.

A Theoretical Study on The Attitude of Women Toward Returning to Work After a Career Break 女性休职后重返工作岗位态度的理论研究

Research conducted by The Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy states that an alarming 2.4 million women dropped out of the workforce in 2017 due to factors such as family pressures, wage disparity maternity, relocation, caring for elders etc. The most prevalent reasons for women taking a break from their work are primarily personal. Another reason is the lack of expected career growth. Several Indian and international reports lay emphasis on the extent of women’s contribution to the workforce and how women are needed at the workplace for the country’s GDP to go up. But getting back isn’t facile. There have been a plethora of challenges getting back to work, as most of the companies have a work culture that values youth over age and experience and, of course, there is the gender inequity, additionally. Women returning to work often face a slew of stereotypical remonstrations – cognate to their age, the duration they were out of the work-force and their capabilities and proficiency sets. They are under pressure to establish their commitment to work and demonstrate that their skills and capabilities have not eroded during the break. For women who return to the workforce after childbirth, there’s the integrated challenge of scaling the ‘maternal wall’. Women’s gross earnings have been shown to drop by 30% after their first child, and over the long term, mothers earn 20% less. Return-to-work or returnee programs are designed to gradually ease women back into the workforce. They are offered training programs to re-skill them, opportunities to work on live projects, interactions with mentors and the possibility to take on a full-time role as well.

Mother Teresa: A faithful follower of humanity 特蕾莎修女:人类的忠实追随者

As far as science is concerned, any state`s growth and development, or a person`s well health, is the most important aspect. Mother Teresa`s inborn desire to live an outstanding life was never easy, and she faced many difficulties and sufferings throughout her life, just as many prophets in the Bible did. Mother Teresa used to have a dream about her future mission in which she felt the impoverished people`s suffering was Jesus` suffering and she considered as her suffering. With her unselfish service in love and care, she was proclaiming God`s Fatherhood to all of the whole humanity. She was a beam of hope for all the souls in and around her life who were searching for authentic humanness in the twentieth century and for many. With nothing but her faith to guide her, she ventured into the slums, bringing hope and solace to those on the outskirts of society. Mother`s ideals and teachings are the teachings of Christ, which she lived out in her life and seen in her service. The angel of the slums and the hidden fire within her had a dream to accomplish in spreading gospel ideals via her manner of life. Her brilliant heart draws attention to her secret activities, attracting all the religion to her eager service.

The recent COVID-19 outbreak has costed the lives of many people around the world. There are lot of physical and mental ailments which were experienced by many people. The study focuses on a mental health disorder i.e., Anorexia Nervosa which effects the physical structure of human body due to the lockdown imposed among the general Indian pubic. Mental health has been the most important matter over the lockdown period. People started to alter their lifestyles so as to tackle the fear of physical health which occupies them from getting any mental illness. Weight loss and weight gains has always been a point of worry amongst the males and females. This paper focuses on the level of impact this COVID-19 had on the fear of their physical health.
