Design of no-hit-zone frequency-hopping sequence sets with optimal Hamming autocorrelation 具有最优Hamming自相关的无命中区跳频序列集设计

No-hit-zone frequency-hopping sequence (NHZ-FHS) is a core element for quasi-synchronous frequency-hopping multiple access (QS-FHMA) systems. In this paper we construct new optimal NHZ-FHS sets with respect to the bound by Ye and Fan by interleaving techniques.We first give three constructions for optimal NHZ-FHS sets of length 2N for any positive integer N ≥ 3 according to whether the size of NHZ is even or odd. We also construct optimal NHZ-FHS sets of length kN for any positive integers k and N with 2 ≤ k ≪ N by generalizing one of the proposed constructions for NHZ-FHS sets of length 2N. All the FHSs from our constructions are non-repeating FHSs which are optimal with respect to the Lempel-Greenberger bound. Since the NHZ size and set size can be freely selected in our constructions, they may be applied to various situations in QS-FHMA systems.

A new class of constant composition codes 一类新的常数组合码

In this paper we present a new construction of constant composition codes. The main tool is the explicit evaluating of some exponential sums. Comparing with previous constructions attaching the Luo-Fu-Vink-Chen bound, these codes have almost the same minimal distance and more codewords.

Perfect sequences over the real quaternions 真实四元数的完美序列

In this paper, perfect sequences over real quaternions are considered. Definitions for the right and left periodic autocorrelation functions are given, and right and left perfect sequences introduced. It is shown that the right (left) perfection of any sequence implies the left (right) perfection, so concepts of right and left perfect sequences over the real quaternions are equivalent. Unitary transformations of the quaternion space ℍ are then considered. Using the equivalence of the right and left perfection, it is proved that unitary transformations of the quaternion space ‘respect’ perfection of a sequence. Consequently, any symmetry transformation of the alphabet preserves perfection of a sequence.

An inter-cell interference reduction method for downlink cellular networks based on signal autocorrelation 基于信号自相关的下行蜂窝网络小区间干扰抑制方法

Since the intra-cell interference can be nearly eliminated by OFDM, the inter-cell interference (ICI) has dominated the cellular networks and greatly degraded the system performance. In this paper, an ICI reduction method based on signal autocorrelation is proposed. In this method, the transmission signals from different cells may overlap in time and frequency, but they are processed to have linearly independent autocorrelation function by adopting a distinguishing pre-filter in each cell. Hence the downlink ICI from adjacent cells can be significantly eliminated by autocorrelation matched filter. To ease the requirement of multiple receiving antennas at the mobile stations, a modified method is proposed to suppress the strongest ICI from the nearest adjacent cell, which only requires 2 antennas equipped at the mobile station. The modified method is especially efficient for the edge cell users.

Performance evaluation of spreading sequences with negative auto-correlation based on chaos theory and Gold sequences 基于混沌理论和Gold序列的负自相关扩展序列性能评价

Spreading sequences with appropriate negative auto-correlation can reduce average multiple access interference (MAI) in asynchronous DS/CDMA systems compared with the conventional Gold Sequences generated by linear feedback shift registers (LFSRs). We design spreading sequences with negative auto-correlation based on Gold sequences and the chaos theory for the Bernoulli map. By computer simulations, we evaluate BER performances of asynchronous DS/CDMA systems using the proposed sequences.

Analysis of wireless optical CDMA using chip-level detection 基于芯片级检测的无线光CDMA分析

In this paper, to achieve high maximum throughput performance, the optimum combination of the optical PN code and modulation scheme is presented. Moreover, bit error rate (BER) performances of the wireless OCDMA system using chip-level detection are evaluated from the theoretical analysis in the multi-user case. Consequently, in the wireless OCDMA system with the chip-level detection, the maximum throughput performance of the multi-pulse PPM (MPPM) systems with the optical pseudo noise code generated by M-sequence is better than that of the MPPM systems with optical orthogonal code and that of the MPPM system with extended prime code sequence.

On transmission characteristics of lattice wireless networks 格子无线网络的传输特性研究

A lattice wireless network consisting of plural units, which possess sensor devices, communication devices, control devices, and processors, will be flexibly adapted for autonomous distributed sensor network systems. Lower bounds on the periodic partial correlations of frequency hopping sequences with partial low hit zone 部分低命中区跳频序列周期性偏相关的下界

In order to evaluate the goodness of frequency hopping sequence design, the periodic Hamming correlation function is used as an important measure. Usually, the length of correlation window is shorter than the period of the chosen frequency hopping sequence, so the study of the periodic partial Hamming correlation of frequency hopping sequence is particularly important. In this paper, the periodic partial Hamming correlation lower bounds for frequency hopping sequences with partial low hit zone, with respect to the size of the frequency slot set, the length of correlation window, the family size, the partial low hit zone, the maximum periodic partial Hamming autocorrelation and the maximum periodic partial Hamming crosscorrelation are established. It is shown that the new bound include the known Lempel-Greenberger bound, Peng-Fan bound and Eun-Jin-Hong-Song bound for the conventional frequency hopping sequences as special cases.

Constructions of quadriphase Z-complementary sequences 四相z互补序列的构造

Aperiodic quadriphase Z-complementary sets (QZCS), which include the conventional complementary sets as special cases, are introduced. It is shown that, aperiodic quadriphase Z-complementary pairs are normally better than binary ones of the same length in terms of the number of Z-complementary pairs, and maximum zero correlation zone (Zmax). The new notions of elementary transformations on quadriphase sequences and elementary operations on QZCS are brought forward. In particular, new methods for analyzing the relations among the formulas relative to QZCS and for describing aperiodic Z-complementary sets are proposed. Improved constructions of QZCS and their mates are given.

Carrier Interferometry (CI) codes have been proposed for multi-carrier systems, e. g., Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM), which achieves higher transmission rate and lower Peak to Average Power ratio (PAPR). In this paper, Non-continuous Carrier Interferometry (NCI) codes have been constructed for the non-continuous multi-carrier systems. In the cognitive radio system such as IEEE 802.22, Non-Continuous OFDM is employed to avoid interference for spectrum holes. In this scheme, all the subcarriers within the spectrum holes are activated. Otherwise, the subcarriers are deactivated. This mechanism is quite suitable to involve NCI codes and formulate the NCI-OFDM system. Simulation results show that the NCI-OFDM system enjoys a wonderful transmission rate and low PAPR compared with the traditional NC-OFDM, which confirms that the NCI-OFDM is a promising transmission scheme for broadband cognitive radio systems.
