It is important to increase the quality of health and medicine. A wearable system for continuous monitoring of the patient is important to overcome this issue. Thus a patient with Arrhythmia due to its low cost and success in saving the life of the patient was the right option for the care partner. In addition, the device will provide a consumer with a smart smartphone application with accurate pulse beat and body temperature data in real time. MAX 30100 and LM35 are primarily used for the detection of human heart and temperature. The performance of these sensors is generated by an arrhythmia algorithm in the esp32 segment.

Introduction: In December 2019, a highly infectious disease i.e. pneumonia caused by the coronavirus disease SARS-CoV-2, occurred in Wuhan, China, and the World Health Organization has declared its ongoing outbreak a pandemic. The clinical laboratory plays a key role in supporting the monitoring and management of SARS-CoV-2 disease. Material and methods: Our study describes the laboratory characteristics of 103, SARS-CoV-2 patients hospitalized in the public hospital Trifun Panovski in the period April - June 2020. Only two patients died as a result of the SARS-CoV-2. The most common laboratory abnormalities were: elevated lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and C-reactive protein (CRP). Results: Leukocytosis was found in 23.3%, and leucopenia in 3% of patients with SARS – CoV-2. SARS-CoV-2 infection can be associated with myocardial injury, heart failure, vascular inflammation, myocarditis, cardiac arrhythmias, and hypoxic encephalopathy. We found increased values of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and γ –glutamyl transferase (γ –GT) in 35 – 50% of patients. We detected affected renal function in 10% of our patients with SARS – CoV 2. Conclusion:We identified potential biomarkers of disease severity. Our results provide guidance in risk assessment, clinical monitoring and therapy decision-making processes

Introduction: the surgical treatment of inguinal hernia has increased in the last decade and its prevalence is not known. Objective: Characterization of patients with inguinal hernia ambulatory surgical treatment. Methods: an observational, descriptive and prospective study of 972 patients with the diagnosis of inguinal hernia was performed, which were operated on an outpatient basis in the General Teaching Hospital "Enrique Cabrera" since January. From 2009 to December 2020. Emergency operated patients were excluded. Results: the highest incidence of inguinal hernia was found between the ages of 60 and 80 years. Indirect right inguinal hernia appeared more frequently. Desarda's anatomic surgical technique was the most applied in 410 (42,1%) of the cases and Lichtenstein's hernioplasty with 224 (23.0%) followed in frequency. There was a total of 5 (0.5%) recurrences. Local anesthesia was applied in 828 (85.2%) of the patients, on an outpatient basis they were 100%. The total complications were 42 (4.3%). Conclusions: surgical treatment of inguinal hernia on an outpatient basis is an appropriate process. It creates comfort in patients, decreases the risk of hospital infection, and reduces waiting lists and hospital costs.
