Hybrid precoder for massive MIMO systems with coverage constraint 具有覆盖约束的大规模MIMO系统混合预编码器

Hybrid architecture has been shown to be cost effective for massive multi-input multi-out (MIMO) systems, where analog precoder is used to form narrow beams towards users for data transmission with reduced number of radio frequency chains. However, besides the user-specific data, a wideband massive MIMO system needs to broadcast control signaling intended for all users simultaneously, which requires wide beams to ensure the coverage. In this paper, we study the wideband hybrid precoder for downlink space-division multi-access and orthogonal frequency division multi-access (SDMA-OFDMA) massive MIMO systems, aimed at minimizing the total transmit power of the base station, subject to the coverage constraint of signaling broadcasting and data rate requirements of users. We first derive an upper bound of coverage probability under general spatially correlated channels, with which a hybrid precoder without requiring the iteration between analog and digital precoders is proposed. Simulation results show that under the same data rate requirement and coverage constraint, the proposed hybrid precoder can effectively reduce the total transmit power compared to the method with narrow-beam analog precoder only based on data rate requirements.

A physical-layer authentication scheme based on hash method 一种基于哈希方法的物理层认证方案

Existing physical-layer challenge-response authentication schemes are under the threat of identity key leakages. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a physical-layer authentication scheme based on hash method. The frequency response curve of the received signal in physical layer is used as the authentication challenge and bound with the identity key stored in upper layer to generate an authentication response by a signal-level hash function referred from 3D curve matching. Binary hypothesis test is employed to verify the identity and the corresponding wireless channel to achieve an enhanced authentication. The proposed scheme can achieve a detection rate of 100% with the false alarm rate below 10−3 under the SNR of 12dB.

User privacy protection for cloud computing based smart grid 基于云计算的智能电网用户隐私保护

The smart grid aims to improve the efficiency, reliability and safety of the electric system via modern communication system, it's necessary to utilize cloud computing to process and store the data. In fact, it's a promising paradigm to integrate smart grid into cloud computing. However, access to cloud computing system also brings data security issues. This paper focuses on the protection of user privacy in smart meter system based on data combination privacy and trusted third party. The paper demonstrates the security issues for smart grid communication system and cloud computing respectively, and illustrates the security issues for the integration. And we introduce data chunk storage and chunk relationship confusion to protect user privacy. We also propose a chunk information list system for inserting and searching data.

An unequal clustering routing protocol for energy-heterogeneous wireless sensor networks 一种能量异构无线传感器网络的不平等聚类路由协议

Unbalanced energy consumption in heterogeneous wireless sensor networks (HWSNs) results in the “energy-hole” problem. In this paper, a novel Energy-Balanced Unequal Clustering Protocol (EBUCP) is proposed to address the energy-hole problem. In EBUCP, three kinds of sensor nodes named normal nodes, advanced nodes and super nodes are deployed in a circular region which is divided into multilayer rings. Based on the optimal number of cluster heads and the definition of energy balance, the unequal cluster radius in each layer can be obtained by EBUCP. Also, EBUCP ensures no isolated node exists in the process of cluster formation. Simulation results demonstrate that, by taking the advantage of unequal clustering and energy heterogeneity, EBUCP achieves better performance in terms of stable period and network throughput.

A codebook design approach for massive MIMO with planar antenna array 基于平面天线阵的大规模MIMO码本设计方法

In this paper codebook for massive MIMO system with planar array is studied. To separate spatially correlated and spatially uncorrelated parts of the channel, antennas are divided into a number of blocks according to their position in the array. Antennas in a block are spatially correlated and antennas across blocks tend to be spatially uncorrelated. A codebook design approach is proposed based on such antenna block division. After analyzing the correlation property, the codebook is proposed to be constructed from two component codebooks by Kronecker product. One component codebook is used to quantize spatially correlated part within a block, and the other codebook is designed to match channel across blocks which are spatially uncorrelated. The effectiveness of proposed codebook design approach is demonstrated by evaluation results.

An applicable testability framework for small satellite under the operational response space 一种适用于运行响应空间下的小卫星可测试性框架

Focused on the significant features such as highly integration, flexible assembly and rapid testability of small satellite under the operational response space (SSUORS), an applicable framework of design for testability (DFT) is proposed to assure the testability of the SSUORS system. A combined structure of the DFT framework is presented to assure the system-level testability. Further, three patterns of extended build-in test are proposed to enhance the function-level testability, which are specified as additional testability requirements. In addition, both simple and complex scenario-based assignment test models are established based on the proposed DFT framework respectively. Compared with the traditional DFT, more complicated test requirements can be realized sufficiently, and more flexible test strategies can be implemented conveniently by the proposed DFT framework.

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a multi-carrier transmission technology. It has great spectrum efficiency, strong anti-interference ability and relatively simple system structure. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing has become one of the key technologies of 4G and the next wireless communication generation. Traditional stream cipher encryptions are usually performed by independently encrypting a message bit with a key stream bit through XOR operations. This is easy to perform and is in common use. But the transmission speed is constrained by devices. In this paper, we present an OFDM encryption scheme. Using less key streams and achieving good security levels.

A hierarchical key management system applied in cloud-based smart grid 应用于云智能电网的分层密钥管理系统

It is an emerging but promising paradigm to integrate smart grid into cloud computing, and the integration performs in the cloud based hierarchical multi-user data-shared environment. However, security issues such as data confidentiality and user authority may arise in the paradigm. Differing from other ordinary cloud based paradigms, the cloud based smart grid scheme owns a strict hierarchical management structure where the user with higher privilege level can get the data stored in all the clouds that are with lower privilege levels, on the contrary, users with lower privileges cannot get anything from the higher-privilege clouds. In order to provide safe and secure grid operation, a hierarchical key management system is proposed in this paper. The novel scheme mainly focus on ensuring the users with legal authorities to get corresponding sensitive data and to restrict illegal users and unauthorized legal users get access to the data, which makes it extremely suitable for the cloud computing based smart grid paradigm.

In order to provide safe and secure grid operation, a hierarchical key management system is proposed in this paper. Multi-cell MMSE precoding in distributed antenna system with pilot contamination 带有导频污染的分布式天线系统的多小区MMSE预编码

This paper studies the performance of downlink precoding in multi-cell multi-user large-scale distributed antenna system (DAS). Particularly, due to pilot reuse among users in adjacent cells, imperfect channel state information (CSI) is considered. Since the large scale fadings from different antennas to one user may be distinct from each other, it's difficult to jointly estimate the channels from all antennas to the users. Instead, this paper only jointly estimates the downlink channels of the antennas at the same site, thus with the same large scale fading. Based on the analysis of the properties of the estimated channels in large-scale DAS, we propose a multi-cell MMSE precoding scheme which aims to minimize the receiving signal error in one cell and the interference the cell pours to other cells. Simulation results show significant performance gains over traditional single-cell precoding schemes.

Reference signal design for demodulation of higher-order MU-MIMO in 3D-MIMO systems 3D-MIMO系统中高阶MU-MIMO解调的参考信号设计

Large number of antennas in transmitter and receiver side of 3D-MIMO can provide finer spatial granularity of beams and larger beamforming gain, and the number of simultaneously served UEs may also be increased compared with conventional LTE system. To support increased multi-user capacity in 3D-MIMO, DMRS needs to be further enhanced because DMRS only support up to 4 layers multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) transmission in current LTE specification, each layer associated with one DMRS (demodulation reference signal) port, and among the four MU-MIMO layers, two layers are orthogonal, and others are quasi-orthogonal. In this paper, link level evaluation of several enhance alternatives are analysed, considering mobility, beamforming algorithm, and orthogonal/quasi-orthogonal design. The results show that orthogonal DMRS transmission provides significant channel estimation gain than quasi-orthogonal. Therefore, in order to guarantee performance of large multiplex number of UEs, increased number of orthogonal DMRS ports is preferred. Larger orthogonal cover code (OCC) length provides good performance at lower mobility, at the same time maintaining less resource overhead, therefore slightly preferred for 3D-MIMO deployment.
