Advances in Microbial Fuel Cells 微生物燃料电池的研究进展

Microbial fuel cells(MFC) as one kind of new biotechnology of removing organic pollutant and producing electricity is attracting attention of numerous researchers. The basic principles of microbial fuel cell operation, and the research progresses including the aspects of microorganism, substrate, electrode design, and proton exchange membrane and reactor design were reviewed. The potential application of MFC in the future was prospected.
微生物燃料电池(MFC)作为一种新型的去除有机污染物和发电的生物技术正受到众多研究者的关注。综述了微生物燃料电池的基本原理,以及微生物、底物、电极设计、质子交换膜和反应器设计等方面的研究进展。展望了MFC在未来的应用前景。
