Novel is a realistic form of literature in which life is created and depicted on the basis of reality, with a focus on significant, social, historical, and economic issues, commenting on the characters and the situations in an indirect manner. In a way, fiction acts as a mirror and reflects the life of society, its practices, oddities, idiosyncrasies, and thereby makes people think, act, and behave accordingly. भारत के संविधान सभी नागरिकों के लिए समानता, स्वतंत्रता, न्याय व गरिमा सुनिश्चित करता है और स्पष्ट रूप में यह दिव्यांग व्यक्तिगों के प्रति एक संयुक्त परिवार बनाने पर जोर दिया है। यह माना जाता है कि यदि दिव्यांग छात्र की समान अवस्र तथा प्रभावी शिक्षा की सुविधा मिल तो दिव्यांग छात्र बेहतर गुणवत्तापूर्ण जीवन व्यतीत कर सकते है। समाजिक तथा आर्थिक सशत्तीकरण के लिए शिक्षा सबसे प्रभावी माध्यम होता है। संविधान के अनुच्छेद के तहत जहॉ शिक्षा को मौलिक अधिकार माना गया है और दिव्यांग अधिनियम 1995 के अनुच्छेद 26 में दिव्यांग बच्चों को 18 वर्षों की उम्र तक मुफ्त 2001 के मुताबिक 51 प्रतिशत दिव्यांग व्यक्ति निरक्षर है यह एक बहुत बड़ी समस्या है। दिव्यांग लोगों को सामान्य शिक्षा प्रणाली की मुख्यधारा में लाने की जरूरत है। सरकार द्वारा चलाया गया पूर्वी चम्ॅपारण जिला के 27 प्रखंडों में सर्व शिक्षा अभियान का 18 वर्षों तक के दिव्यांग बच्चों को प्राथमिक स्कूलिंग प्रदान करने का लक्ष्य है जिसमें 6 से 14 वर्ष के बच्चे भी शामिल है। दिव्यांग बच्चों के लिए संकेतिक शिक्षा के तहत 15 से 18 वर्षों तक की उम्र के दिव्यांग बच्चों को मुफ्त शिक्षा प्रदान की जाएगी।
