A Comprehensive Review On Medicated Chewing Gums- A Novel Drug Delivery System 一种新型给药系统——含药口香糖的研究综述

M edicated chewing gums are the up-to-the-minute novel drug delivery system gaining much acceptance as an oral drug delivery system. The medicated chewing gums are basically single solid dosage forms consisting of gums and having one or more active ingredients that are intended to be chewed not swallowed. Basically used as a local treatment for mouth diseases and systemic absorption by oral mucosa. It is a patient acceptable drug delivery system. The objective of this study is to assess the possible therapeutic effect of medicated chewing gum for patients featuring advantages and disadvantages, compositions, method of preparation and further evaluation parameters. It represents the most recent system with budding uses in pharmaceuticals.

Determination of Phytoconstituents & antioxidant Potential of extracts of fruit of Fragaria Vesca 花椒果实提取物的成分及抗氧化活性测定

F ruits of Fragaria vesca it is belonging to vitaceae family, commonly known as strawberry available in every fruit seller. In these study try to findout antioxidant activity of these fruit. Prepare two different extract of fruit aqueous and ethanolic extract & find out Phytoconstituents and antioxidant activity of both extract. Fragaria vesca Phytoconstituents possess wide range of Phenolic, flavonoids compound possess. In vitro antioxidant was detected by DPPH assay, reducing power assay.The ethanolic, aqueous of fragaria vesca concentrates of & ascorbic acid exhibited antioxidant potential possessing IC50 48.14, 66.0 μg/ml & 14.40 μg/ml (Diphenylpicrylhydrazyl radical). The Reducing power assay possess 10.10, 11.51 μg/ml. Free radical scavenging difference due to solvent difference, it have better antioxidant activity which is helpful for controlling excess free radical in body.

CATALYTIC SYNTHESIS OF TRIAZOLES AND TETRAZOLES BY COPPER TRIFLATE UNDER MICROWAVE IRRADIATION AND TO EVALUATE THEIR BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES 微波辐射下三酸铜催化合成三氮唑和四氮唑及其生物活性评价

A n efficient synthetic approach of pharmacologically important diversely functionalized compounds (Triazoles and Tetrazoles) through the cycloaddition of Glucals, Azides and nitriles in presence of CuII(OTf) as a catalyst by conventional and microwave methods and to compare the yields. The antibacterial activity of the triazoles and tetrazole were tested by serial dilution method taking drug at a concentration of 150 mg/ml. The anti-fungal activies of the triazoles and tetrazole were tested by agar diffusion method (cup-plate method) taking drug at a concentration of 100 mg/ml and 150 mg/ml against five fungi (C.albicans, C.rugosa, S.cerevisiae, A.flavus and A.niger).

Non-Medical Errors: Time to Act 非医疗事故:是时候采取行动了

People are in a habit of blaming that health care facilities are inadequate or unavailable and death is unavoidable at many time. Do we think this is the truth? The answer to this question is No. Most of the deaths in children in the hospital settings are preventable in present era of science and medicine (depending on type of problem or etiology). Sick children including newborns have better and effective outcome if timely help or intervention is provided to them. Parents/family bring their child to health care facility with the hope that Doctor is God and can save their hope and it is true to great extent. We also understand that treatment is matter of faith and doctors are most trust worthy in the eyes of parents, patients, family or society.

pH sensors and ion Transporters: Potential therapeutic targets for acid-base disorders. pH传感器和离子转运体:酸碱失调的潜在治疗靶点。

Regulation of pH is critical for physiological processes. Maintenance of acid-base homeostasis is tightly regulated by the renal and respiratory systems. However, fluctuations in extracellular pH are also sensed by other organ systems. Ion transporter activity to modify the amount of acid (H+ and CO2) and bicarbonate (HCO3-) is therefore actively maintained within the kidney and lung. This review describes acid-base disorders (acidosis and alkalosis) and highlights the importance of pH sensors and ion transporters that may be potential therapeutic targets for treatment of acid-base disorders. Specifically, the renal pH sensors proline-rich tyrosine kinase-2 (Pyk2) and G-protein coupled receptor-4 (GPR4) are discussed here.
