: Periodical publications produced by people with mental illness in psychiatric institutions (newspapers, magazines, newsletters...) have almost two centuries of history. However, despite their undeniable interest as a historiographic source and first-person narrative testimony, they have generally been neglected as an object of interest and study, and their conservation has also been neglected. The objective of this paper, after the search, digitization, and review of the largest number of these kind of publications in Spain between 1966 and 1989, is to present the reflection that the transition and Spanish reform of psychiatric care had in the localized publications. The great difficulty in finding a signifi-cant number of them, foreseeably some of them are already lost forever, motivated the pa-rallel development of a project for the cataloguing and conservation of known collections, which is now open to public collaboration and accessible in www.psiquifanzines.com .

: At present, euthanasia is legally regulated in several countries in different conti-nents. In Spain, it is regulated by the current organic law 3/2021. This work is a monogra-phic and theoretical reflection study based on a wide and rigorous analysis of the law and the international biomedical literature, but it does not intend to be a bibliographic review in any way. According to the World Health Organization, the medical intervention is nee-ded for any way of euthanasia to be possible as well as for assisted suicide and palliative sedation. From what the law says, the training on the sphere of the pathology in question is enough to be a consultant doctor. To be a certified specialist is not needed, so each consultant may consider at their discretion if they fulfil the qualification to be declared. Despite its important limitations, omissions and potentially controversial ambiguities, the law 3/2021 seems to be opportune, suitable in essence and basically non biased.
