With mobile phones becoming smarter, almost all operating systems are downloading and using data. Cellular service providers are concerned with decline in revenue due to constant decline in voice call and text messages and consequently more options of moving to competitor. This leads to building of a model that describes the critical factor explaining the switching of subscriber, to understand the factors for customer churn and identify the relationships between these three constructs with respect to higher mobile data usage. In order to validate the proposed relationship, Confirmatory Factor Analysis using Structure Equation Modelling is used. Findings indicate that one of the important construct of selecting a service provider is customer's satisfactory experience with the service provider. Also, it has been found that the significance of data services is constantly increasing for the subscribers. These findings will be useful to both service providers and researchers to comprehend the service quality parameters considering mobile subscribers view point. This can help to re-look the existing benchmarks and increase customer satisfaction.

In a simple language a software product where in the availability of the source code of the software is available in the public domain is referred to as an Open Source Software (OSS). Some of the models proposed in the papers published in different international journals are discussed in this paper. Some statistical data concerning open source software and the related shortcomings have also been covered. A detailed and a thorough comparison of the OSS with the closed source software, their advantages vis-a-vis the disadvantages and certain other aspects have also been carried out making it simpler and understandable by the readers. Quality assurance being of prime importance in any field is a must and like any other feature it gains the same amount of importance in this field as well. This paper facilitates the readers and researchers to understand and analyse OSS with suitable examples.

Taking an emerging 'green' perspective into consideration, the primary purpose of this research paper is to examine the impact of green-labels used with routine product attributes on consumer preference. In addition, an attempt is made examining the utility score and relative importance of the different attributes' levels of high involvement products. Findings show that consumers' preference varied based on green-labels used for products under green initiatives taken by companies. When the consumers were given the option to choose, they considered green-distribution label more effective in addressing the environmental issues over others. Given the limited academic interest in the area, this study contributes to the literature by providing insights into tier-I, tier-II and tier-III consumers' preferences and facilitates the manufacturers and marketers using these green-labels during new product development (NPD). This research is useful for consumer durable industry to plan its strategies as per the findings for high involvement products.

The present additive manufacturing methods limit to size and the time taken to manufacture the components is also limited because of the layering approach. A layer-less approach is proposed, which is based on arranging different sizes of cubes to achieve the final product. An algorithm is developed and manufacturing feasibility is simulated using CATIA software and its macros. It was found that the components can be manufactured using this additive manufacturing method without the layer approach. The proposed additive manufacturing method and the algorithm can be applied to additive manufacturing situations demanding very large components to be manufactured with less amount of time.
