This article is part of studies on the theory of architecture and deals with the issues of the formal structure of housing in the period of the post-pandemic city. For more than three years, we have been globally in a period of multiple changes and transformations that affect the various spheres of human activity, which directly affect the organization of the formal structure of housing. The research gap that this investigation seeks to contribute to is related to the rigidity presented by the formal structure of housing at the moment in which the global lockdown was presented, as well as the needs presented to adapt the representation of housing to the new activities imposed by this transformative period. The main research question related to this study is interested to investigate how the multi-dimensional transformations that society has gone through in the last three years, have affected the formal structure of the existing housing and what could be the future housing schemes based on these needs. The purpose of this paper is to research these changes in the formal structure of housing, due to the specific conditions of the post-pandemic city and to propose spatial solutions that match the needs of the current society. The final objective is the proposal of innovative schemes for the organization of the living space on two different levels. The first level refers to the re-organization of the spaces of the formal structure of the existing evidenced typologies, under the new social needs generated by the major transformations, while the second level is related to the proposal of innovative schemes for the construction of new housing. The methodology conducted during this study is based on the analysis of the consequent alterations of society during the pandemic and post-pandemic context, while emphasizing and understanding the impact they have had directly on housing. The specific case where the article is focused on investigating the relationship of the formal structure of housing with the city is positioned in the city of Lezha in Northern Western Albania where new functional and distributional schemes can be generated and serve as proper solutions in the actual context. The expected results are a series of functional schemes and spatial models for housing, able to replenish the needs and requests that people have about the new formal housing structures and space, within the conditions of the post-pandemic period. This study represents an interest and concrete usefulness, firstly for the academic community which are grasping the understanding of the changing society within their expertise, researchers, designers, and investors.

The Klang Local Draft Plan 2035 has identified accessibility issues in some tourist locations and inconsistent pedestrian walkways that hinder pedestrian movement. Therefore, this paper aims to assess the spatial characteristics of pedestrian networks and the walkability in Klang to enhance visitors' walking experience. A quantitative design using a structured questionnaire based on walkability criteria and measurement framework was employed to achieve this. The research findings provide four key recommendations for improving the pedestrian environment, pathway network, pedestrian infrastructure, and maintenance. The significance of this study lies in its contribution to planners' and architects' efforts to create better pedestrian network access in urban areas. Additionally, it aligns with the 11th Sustainable Development Goal of creating sustainable cities and communities by enhancing road safety and providing access to affordable, safe, sustainable transport systems. Furthermore, this research can guide future urban research, walking and accessibility initiatives, and evaluations of proposals to revitalize historic towns and prevent unused urban spaces.

Several attempts have been made to understand the relationship between space and society and how building design and layout affect people's communication patterns, work effectiveness, and agility. In contrast to many public hospitals in Malaysia, private hospitals, through their understanding of space and building layout, have willingly invested significant money in spatial configuration and interior design to improve their performance as healthcare providers. However, literature on space configuration and how space and layout design influence the communication between healthcare providers and patients are scarce to date. This paper aims to highlight how different interior settings of public hospitals affect the effective communication pattern between healthcare providers and patients. A questionnaire survey was conducted among staff and patients of the two selected hospitals. The study's outcome suggests the preferred interior environment and decoration that would influence the communication pattern, agility, and mood of staff and patients by comparing the two hospitals.

This study is a part of research into the components and tools of architectural composition. Its goal is to analyze how the articulations of the facade changed stylistically from the Renaissance to the Modern era. The initial theory is that the "Façade's" architectural component is strongly associated to the time period "from the 14th century (Reinassance) until the early 20th century" (Modernism). The preliminary hypothesis is that the composite element of the “Façade” is closely related to the period: from the Renaissance to the early 20 th century. With modern architecture, the concept of the “Façade” begins to “crumble” and after that “eliminated” during postmodern architecture through the process of "Museification". This period also coincides with the drawing of the façade as “elevation” with the principle of central perspective, emphasizing that the facade in architecture is a consequence, dominated by the concept of the central perspective. The methodology was created following in-depth examinations of people who studied composition in architecture, not just facades. It is based on the examination of selected architectural creations from particular historical periods. To highlight the structural relationship between the interior and the façade, these works will be examined on iconographic, orthographic, and scenographic levels. In order to establish and learn some compositional rules in the structure of facades, the façade itself will also be explained. The conclusions drawn from this section will be applied as a methodology to analyze the architectural works of Kristo Sotiri, as a local example to prove the above hypothesis and to define the historical position of his architectural works.

Free Form means – the language of geometry in the field of architectural description its special geometry, new, mysterious, and light, which required new innovative space or department to present the power of this term. The specified function should be placed in the prescribed, geometrical form. Only good teamwork between architects, designers and structural engineers enables resolving issues related to creating and building freeform structures. Free form Geometry alone is not able to provide solutions for the entire process of thinking, but a pure geometric understanding is a remarkable step toward a successful realization of such a project (Pottmann H 2007). Free-form geometries in architecture were considered one of the most significant phenomena in modern design with the technical developments of material properties and the digital designing tools in contemporary architecture, subsequently, this process makes architecture more creative and at the same time flexible and breaks away from regularity. Free-Form parametric geometries can bring and spire new concepts in contemporary architecture now and in the future.
