The emergence of a new generation of writers in Assam has indeed brought forth new themes, ideas and writing styles, shaping the evolution of the Assamese literature. These changes have been influenced by factors such as globalization, social shifts and the exploration of individual freedom and identity. The "new wave" of Assamese literature that emerged in the 1970s marked a significant turning point. This movement emphasized the individual's experiences, personal freedom and the search for identity. Writers began to delve into the complexities of human psychology, introspection, and self-discovery. The short stories became more introspective, exploring the inner workings of characters' minds and their emotional journeys. Furthermore, the impact of globalization introduced new forms and styles of writing to Assamese literature. This paper attempts to study how Assamese authors began experimenting with innovative structures and techniques. They embraced the stream of consciousness technique, non-linear narratives, social realism and elements of magical realism. This experimentation added diversity and dynamism to the Assamese literary tradition, allowing for more creative and imaginative storytelling.

The Persian Adaptation of Chandayan: Understanding Intercultural Communication in Medieval India 《Chandayan》的波斯改编:理解中世纪印度的跨文化交流

Chandayan was composed in late fourteenth century by Daud. The text was unique among its contemporaries from the perspective of language, script, and content. It was the first text of Awadhi (Hindwi). The present paper is an attempt to study the reasons behind the composition of such a syncretic text. Who were the people for whom it was composed? Why did it was patronized by the wazir of Delhi Sultan, Khan- i Jahan second? After a brief discussion on the above mentioned questions, the paper will be focused on the Persian adaptation of the story of Chandayan during the seventeenth century. Hamid Kalanauri adapted this story into Persian during the reign of Emperor Jahangir and named it Ismatnama. The study would attempt to bring to light the picture that contemporary sources paint. How did the story got circulated and transmitted to various circles? It would try to seek answers to the following questions. Why did Hamid Kalanauri choose this story? What was the medium of transmission? What was the reason behind its Persian adaptation and how did the story was reimagined for a new audience? The adaptation dismantled the barrier of language and open the text to a wider world. The study would be based on primary evidence, substantiated by secondary literature where required. The texts used for the study are Persian court chronicles, tazkira literature and vernacular sources.

Financial Literacy among Women: An Analysis of the Etikoppaka Toy Industry 女性的金融素养:对Etikoppaka玩具行业的分析

Numerous scholarly works have thoroughly investigated the disparity in financial risk-taking between genders. It has been observed that women exhibit a lower propensity to invest in high-risk financial assets, which can be attributed to their relatively slower accumulation of wealth over an extended period of time. It aims to understand how financial literacy can enhance women's economic empowerment and independence. The research delves into the imperative need for financial literacy among women in the two-centuries-old Etikoppaka handloom industry. It explores their socio-economic transition within the internationally acclaimed toy industry of Etikoppaka in India. The study focuses on the Etikoppaka handloom industry, comprising two categories of women: formal employees earning wages and informal workers supporting their husbands without monetary compensation. An exploratory research design was applied to arrive at the inferences. Data is collected from 40 females actively engaged in the toy industry, supplemented by two focus group discussions with stakeholders. The data was analyzed using two financial models, i.e., Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, 2011 (OECD) basic principles of money. Financial literacy is crucial for women's empowerment in the Etikoppaka handloom industry. Formal sector women have better understanding of financial concepts than informal sector women. Customized programs that consider local culture and involvement of civil society organizations and grassroots initiatives are necessary for positive economic outcomes. This study's outcomes have significant implications for policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society organizations working towards women's economic development in the handloom industry.

As the landscape of higher education undergoes rapid transformations, the importance of nurturing a skilled and adaptable workforce within academic institutions becomes increasingly vital. The study delves into the strategies, challenges, and outcomes of HRD initiatives undertaken by a prominent HEI, providing valuable insights into optimizing human capital development in academia. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews with key stakeholders, such as faculty members, administrators, and HR personnel, alongside quantitative data from surveys and performance metrics. Through this comprehensive methodological design, the study analyzes the alignment of HRD policies with the institution's strategic objectives, identifying the factors that influence successful HRD implementation. Findings from the case study shed light on the significance of faculty development programs, talent retention strategies, and the role of leadership in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the HEI. Quality of Health Care in PHC: Understanding from Patient Perspective 初级保健保健的质量:从病人角度的理解

Primary health care through Primary health care system has been recognized as the effective strategy for improved health services across the world. In the present scenario where there is a steep rise in the health expenses, it is difficult for the poor to meet this rising health expenses. Most of them fall in debt trap and become bankrupt. It is the PHCs which is accessible to poor and can meet the health needs of the rural and marginalized section of the community. But the PHCs also have many deficits in facilities and services. This has to be evaluated so as to make necessary actions for improving the PHCs in the State. The study is a micro level analysis in understanding the quality of health care provided by PHCs through assessing the satisfaction of patients for the facilities and services they receive from PHCs. The study evaluates the satisfaction of patients towards the determinants of PHCs and analyzes the relationship between determinants of Patient satisfaction and Quality of health care. The result of the study shows that the determinants of patient satisfaction have a significant positive influence on the Quality of health care of PHC. The scope of the study is limited to Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. The insights from this article calls for more collaborative works in various facets of PHCs.

Gritty individuals are not easily discouraged by obstacles or failures; instead, they see them as opportunities for growth and learning. Having grit can be beneficial in various aspects of life, whether it's personal goals, academic pursuits, professional endeavors, or even relationships. People with high levels of grit are more likely to stay motivated and continue striving for their goals, even when progress seems slow or when faced with adversity. It's important to note that grit is not about blindly persisting without adaptability or recognizing when it's necessary to change course. It's about finding the balance between perseverance and flexibility, knowing when to adjust strategies or approaches while still maintaining a steadfast commitment to the overall objective. Developing and nurturing grit can contribute to greater resilience, achievement, and personal growth. It allows individuals to navigate challenges and setbacks with a determined mindset, increasing their likelihood of success in the long run.

Inclusive Practices in School: A Case Study 学校包容性实践:个案研究

Worldwide it is being observed that inclusion is becoming a major focus of the government policies. To achieve social integration and cohesion, Education reform is one of the key drivers. Inclusion is bringing all children together in school irrespective of their physical and mental abilities. In inclusive school children with differently abled do not study in separate classes. As per RTE, inclusion is important and many schools have started this inclusion practice. It is a challenge for the schools to incorporate inclusion and meet the diverse needs in classrooms. The researcher in this study has conducted case study of one inclusive school. The list of school claiming to be inclusive schools in Baroda city was prepared. After that some schools were visited by the researcher for preliminary investigation and contacted personally. The researcher selected one school on the basis of permission given by the school and their willingness to co-operate for the study. An attempt is made to understand how this school has understood inclusion and what practices they are following to meet the inclusion.

Stakeholders perception on Institutional Social Responsibility: A Study of Higher Educational Institutions 利益相关者对高校社会责任的认知:基于高校的研究

The educational institutions are not confined to mere imparting the knowledge and training students following the industry need. The meaning of education encompasses a wider meaning in it. Hence; Institutional Social Responsibility is a term that is gaining prominence in recent years. Due to competition among educational institutions, there is pressure on educational institutions to establish their image through a cordial relationship with the stakeholders. A normal way of connecting with the stakeholders is discharging social responsibility practices. The existing situation and policy guidelines put pressure on educational institutions to involve in such activities and thereby enhance their visibility. However, the perceptions of stakeholders of educational institutions on Institutional social responsibility are not well discussed and researched. So this paper tries to find out the stakeholders' perception on institutional social responsibility practiced by the educational institutions.
