Development of a desktop application for a complex heterogeneous evaluation system 一个复杂异构评估系统的桌面应用程序的开发

Like many others, our institution has had to adapt our traditional testing and assessment of students due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This article describes the process applied to the development of a desktop application for a complex heterogeneous evaluation system for students of applied informatics. Qualitative research, case study together with experiments, and action research made it possible to examine the monitored phenomena more deeply in interconnected contexts. Prospective case studies with multiple cases were used to investigate the issue. According to the function, they are pedagogical evaluation case studies. In addition to verifying the effectiveness of the introduced materials, forms of education, and the flipped classroom approach, the study also focused on examining the relationship between their work on assigned tasks and the given issue, while heterogeneity in the evaluation was a key element. The main goal was to verify the effectiveness of the created materials in the implementation of various forms of education using the flipped classroom approach. Also, the possibilities of achieving the set educational goals during online teaching using instructional videos or scripts using a flipped classroom approach compared to a hybrid form of education and assessment were investigated. The contribution of the work and recommendations for pedagogical theory and practice are published in the paper.

Personalized e-Coaching as a Support in the Social Inclusion Process 个性化电子辅导在社会融入过程中的支持作用

Risk groups of people are exposed to a higher risk of social exclusion. Reasons for this situation may include poor information about gathering help, alternatively problematic availability of information or incorrect mental setting. This work focuses on personalized e-coaching, which aims for positive change of personal habits and thus achieving a healthy, long-term sustainable lifestyle. In case of e-coaching, the whole process is controlled by a software. To achieve the goals, persuasive techniques tend to be used. As a part of the e-coaching process, it is appropriate to provide the respondent with guidelines in the form of personalized recommendations, which may include activities or specific resources depending on preferences, interests and responsibilities of the respondent. We proposed a solution with a client-server architecture, based on the PSD model. The primary task of the server application is obtaining, storing, and providing context-specific personalized data and recommendations. Data is obtained through client applications and external services, combining implicit and explicit methods. Recommendations are based on available data about the respondent, as well as on available contextual data. The application will gradually dynamically learn the preferences and interests of the respondent based on the interaction with individual resources and services of the application.

Information System for Asset Management in Buildings 楼宇资产管理信息系统

Since the University of Žilina is constantly expanding, we decided to develop information system, which will provide a unified environment for property, rooms and buildings management. Within my bachelor thesis I focused on the development of a web application for asset management in the buildings of the University of Zilina. The created system enables various options for working with property, its evidence, management, decommission, creation of statistics and reports.

BIMI specification as another technical approach in the fight against e-mail phishing BIMI规范作为对抗电子邮件网络钓鱼的另一种技术方法

Phishing attacks in various forms are currently considered to be the most common and at the same time the most successful form of computer attack, when the attacker tries to obtain sensitive information or convince employees of organizations to perform certain actions, such as installation of malicious software. Areas with a large amount of processed personal data are particularly attractive to attackers. As part of our research supported by the Slovak Research and Development Agency, grant number APVV-20-0457, we focused on phishing attacks carried out in the field of healthcare and thus supplemented the previous experience in the field of education. The following article presents the characteristics of the most common forms of phishing attacks and an indication of the emerging BIMI specification intended for the effective fight against phishing attacks carried out through the exchange of e-mail messages.

Future Lower Primary School Teachers Taking an Online Algorithmization and Programming Course and Self-Assessing their Performance 未来小学低年级教师在线学习算法与程序设计课程及自我评价

Computational thinking, problem-solving and the ability to apply knowledge; these and a plethora of other skills are essential for success in both personal and professional life. In order to be able to develop those skills in their students, the teachers themselves need to possess them. This paper focuses on female future lower primary school teachers who, in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, took an online course on algorithmization and programming, having little or no prior knowledge and skills. The completion rate depended not only on the students' motivation and willingness to learn, but mainly on the content and structure of the course, which was completely modified and made into an online course. The results were more than surprising. The students were able to complete the activities included in the course. Moreover, those activities inspired them to create their own activities, which they may be able to use in their future classes.

The Informatics 2.0 Approach in Relation to the Digital Skills Test 与数字技能测试相关的信息学2.0方法

The mission of the civic association Informatika 2.0 is to improve the teaching of computer science in Slovakia through the support of computer science teachers at primary and secondary schools, and to improve the digital skills of their students. The main activity is the creation of comprehensive free modern materials for teaching informatics, which save teachers hours of preparation. At the same time, we provide teachers with training for working with the materials and a digital skills test that will help them determine the level of knowledge of students and their progress during the school year.

There are many methodologies any developer can rely on in software development. These methodologies have been developed continuously due to growth in the requirements of the required programs and work environment. Each method, whether traditional project management or Agile project management, has strengths and weaknesses. For example, the difficulty of choosing the appropriate methodology that matches the quality of the requirements that we need to develop, or the team's focus on a method that they always rely on in their work style, can lead to a failure in the development process. One of the most popular methodologies today is Agile project management. It works in various fields and is not limited to software development only because of its strength to focus on delivering the product in the fastest time and at a lower cost. Instead, it is considered the pioneer in its various methods for managing software projects. From this point of view, we will compare and analysis the data collected from two colleges in Tripoli, Libya, in the field of Informatics. To find out the approved methodology the students used in their projects, the reasons for their selection, and the difficulties they encountered while following the chosen method.

Scientific advances in recent decades have provided universal access to a variety of new digital technologies. These technologies are used by the vast majority of today's university students. Therefore, the incorporation of innovative methods and technologies is a must in order to actively engage students in the learning process. In this paper, a selection of techniques that can be considered “outside of the box” are examined in the context of the application of teaching/learning methods in control engineering and industrial automation education.

An innovative multidisciplinary approach to the teaching computer networks and cybersecurity 计算机网络与网络安全教学的创新多学科方法

This contribution deals with the proposal of a new approach to the teaching of computer networks-oriented subjects. The main focus is to implement a multidisciplinary approach, with which we want to increase the quality of teaching, reform the study content, and motivate students of networking subjects to study programming and cybersecurity. This created article summarizes the current state of teaching, identifies existing deficiencies and, in the form of recommendations, proposes a new methodology for solving deficiencies and updating the content. Part of the proposal is the identification of important areas of informatics (computer networks, cybersecurity, programming, database systems, machine learning and development of android applications), technologies, and the variety of designed sample tasks to demonstrate the importance of connecting students' knowledge from several areas of informatics. The practical outputs of the work are as follows: created study materials in the form of PDF documents, annotated source codes of sample solutions and a website with educational content. The created materials were tested in university and high school teaching by a total of 198 participants, of which 4 were teachers and 194 were students aged 15 to 24. More than 86% of these students evaluated the created materials positively and would be interested in expanding the current educational content. Based on the received feedback, it is possible to claim that the issue should be further addressed, and an effort should be made to integrate it into the teaching process.

Application of the Simulation Tools in the Educational Process 仿真工具在教学过程中的应用

The positive approach of students in the higher education system plays an important role in improving the quality of education. The higher the quality of education, the higher the satisfaction of students. In recent years, we have increasingly encountered the use of simulations and virtual reality tools that allow students to get to know the discussed issues faster and more clearly, with the possibility of connecting theoretical knowledge with practice. In the past, this trend was mainly associated with computer games or solving research tasks, and has become an integral part of education in various fields and applications. For the purposes of this paper, as an example of the possibilities utilization simulations of light-technical parameters are presented simulations of the lighting design of mechanical engineering workshop created in the software DIALux.
