Diagnosis of a bronchial asthma course in children determines further preventive activities and personalized approaches to treating of a child with such a pathology. An uncontrolled type of the asthma course requires conducting a careful analysis of the factors affecting a formation of severe forms of the disease. The use of linear regression models is a widespread approach that helps to calculate the probability of severe bronchial asthma or the uncontrolled course of the disease development. During this study 90 children aged from 6 to 18 years old were examined. Of these, there were 70 children suffering from bronchial asthma with different severity and 20 healthy children. The examination included an interviewing of patients as well as a definition of clinical features and results of clinical and laboratory examination in the disease course. 142 factors were analyzed to build a three-parameter model. A correlation ratio and numerical characteristics of model regressors were calculated. Conditions of the use of approximate linear regression models were shown and the model accuracy was estimated. A technique of an approximate model of linear regression building both in dimensional and nondimensional forms was considered. The relationship among model ratios was shown.

The cathodoluminescence properties of thin oxide films $beta-mathbf{Ga}2mathbf{O}_{3},mathbf{ZnGa}_{2}mathbf{O}_{4},mathbf{ZnGn}_{2}mathbf{O}_{4}:mathbf{Mn},mathbf{Zn}mathbf{Ga}_{2}mathbf{O}_{4}:mathbf{Cr},mathbf{Y}_{2}mathbf{O}_{3}:mathbf{Eu},mathbf{Gd}_{2}mathbf{O}_{3}:mathbf{Eu},(mathbf{Gd}_{2}mathbf{O}_{3})_{0.67}(mathbf{ZnO})_{0.33}: mathbf{Eu},(mathbf{Y}_{0.06}mathbf{Ga}_{0.94})_{2}mathbf{O}_{3}: mathbf{Eu}$ and $(mathbf{Y}_{0.06}mathbf{Ga}_{0.94})_{2}mathbf{O}_{3}$: Cr obtained by high-frequency (HF) ion-plasma sputtering on fused silica substrates. A number of luminescence parameters have been determined and it has been shown that a full-color flat-panel display can be realized on the basis of these films. It is shown that the use of reductive annealing of these films in a hydrogen atmosphere leads to an increase in the electrical conductivity of the films by a factor of $10^{3}-10^{8}$. The results were discussed and it was found that electrically conductive thin-film phosphors $beta-mathbf{Ga}_{2}mathbf{O}_{3}$ (blue luminescence), $mathbf{Gd}_{2}mathbf{O}_{3}:mathbf{Eu}$ (red luminescence) and especially $(mathbf{Gd}_{2}mathbf{O}_{3})_{0.67}(mathbf{ZnO})_{0.33}: mathbf{Eu}$ (red luminescence) are quite promising for use in full-color displays with the point of view of their luminescent and energy properties.

Cathodoluminescence (CL) emission and photoluminescence (PL) emission and excitation spectra of $16mathbf{Na}2mathbf{O}-9mathbf{NaF}-5mathbf{LaF}_{3}-7mathbf{Al}_{2}mathbf{O}_{3}-63mathbf{SiO}_{2}$ (mol%) activated with 3% $mathbf{PrF}_{3}$, hereinafter referred to as $mathbf{NaLaF}_{4}:mathbf{Pr}_{9}^{3+}$ have been investigated. In particular, CL spectra were measured with time resolution after excitation with a 120 keV electron beam. The characteristic Pr3+ ion emission with fast decay times $tau_{1}=1.77$ ns and $tau_{2}=52.97$ ns at peak intensity at 406 nm were observed, which correspond well to the emission bands of the $mathbf{Pr}^{3+}$ ion in other luminescent materials

This article considers gesture-based algorithms that allow us to control various devices with movements of our hands. Correlation coefficient is used to determine the sign of the derivative of the signal from the sensor to detect flick gesture (hovering over an area where sensors are located) and click gesture (approaching and distancing this area). The results of numerical experiments are presented hereinafter, which confirms the robustness of the proposed gesture identification algorithm for controlling various devices.

Radio equipment for aircraft flight supporting consists of communication, navigation and surveillance devices. These devices are used to provide the safety and regularity of aircraft flights. During radio equipment operation the processes of intended use, maintenance, repair, continuation of life service are implemented. The decision-making about control and preventive actions for these processes is based on the results of statistical data processing. In such cases statistical methods with predetermined sample size are used. This paper concentrates on the problem of synthesis of sequential method that allows making decision faster for given level of data processing effectiveness. The researched sequential method is used for estimation of reliability parameters based on priory information about these parameters distribution and functional transformation of corresponding probability density function. During solving analysis problem, the probability density functions of estimate and observation duration are calculated.

Coronavirus or COVID-19 is a widespread pandemic that has affected almost all countries around the globe. The quantity of infected cases and deceased patients has been increasing at a fast pace globally. This virus not only is in charge of infecting billions of people but also affecting the economy of almost the whole world drastically. Thus, detailed studies are required to illustrating the following trend of the COVID-19 to develop proper short-term prediction models for forecasting the number of future cases. Generally, forecasting techniques are be inculcated in order to assist in designing better strategies and as well as making productive decisions. The forecasting techniques assess the situations of the past thereby enabling predictions about the situation in the future would be possible. Moreover, these predictions hopefully lead to preparation against potentially possible consequences and threats. It's crucial to point out that Forecasting techniques play a vital role in drawing accurate predictions. In this research, we categorize forecasting techniques into different types, including stochastic theory mathematical models and data science/machine learning techniques. In this perspective, it is feasible to generate and develop strategic planning in the public health system to prohibit more deceased cases and managing infected cases. Here, some forecast models based on machine learning are introduced and comprising the Linear Regression model which is assessed for time series prediction of confirmed, deaths, and recovered cases in Ukraine and the globe. It turned out that the Linear Regression model is feasible to implement and reliable in illustrating the trend of COVID-19.
