Delay Range Dependent Robust Passification for Singular Neutral Uncertain Systems with Time Varying Delays and Actuator Saturation 具有时变时滞和执行器饱和的奇异中立不确定系统的时滞范围相关鲁棒钝化

This paper focuses on robust passification for singular neutral systems with time varying delays and estimation of their domain of attraction considering bounded control effort (actuator saturation). The delays in states and state derivatives have upper and lower bounds. The system is assumed to have polytopic parametric uncertainties. Memory less state feedback controller for robust passification is synthesized. The delay range dependent sufficient conditions for robust passivity of closed loop system are derived in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). The domain of attraction is estimated by solving an optimization problem in terms of LMIs to obtain less conservative results. Numerical example is presented at the end that shows the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.

Car Parking Vacancy Detection and Its Application in 24-Hour Statistical Analysis 车位空缺检测及其在24小时统计分析中的应用

Finding empty parking spaces is a common problem in densely populated areas. Drivers spend an unnecessarily large amount of time searching for the empty spots, because they do not have perfect knowledge about the available vacant spots. An effective vacancy detection system would significantly reduce search time and increase the efficiency of utilizing the scarce parking spaces. The proposed solution uses trained neural networks to determine occupancy states based on visual features extracted from parking spots. This method addresses three technical problems. First, it responds to changing light intensity and non-uniformity by having adaptive reference pavement pixel value calculate the color distance between the parking spots in question and the pavement. Second, it approximates images with limited lighting to have similar feature values to images with sufficient illumination, merging the two patterns. Third, the solution separately considers nighttime vacancy detection, choosing appropriate regions to obtain reference color value. The accuracy was 99.9% for occupied spots and 97.9% for empty spots for this 24-hour video. Besides giving an accurate depiction of the car park's utilization rate, this study also reveals the patterns of parking events at different times of the day and insights to the activities that car drivers engage with.

Agent Based Prediction of Seismic Time Series Data 基于Agent的地震时间序列数据预测

In past formal statistical and evolutionary techniques have been successful in prediction of time series data. Traditional focus of these techniques encircled increase in reliability of results, consistency, accuracy and sustainability of overall system. Formal systems have been utilized to predict the earthquake structure and parameters that best fit into that structure. This research changes the orientation of traditional trends by introducing novel data quality and automation means to increase not only the accuracy but also the efficiency of prediction system. Data related to seismic activities in the geography related to Pakistan has been considered for experimentation. Moreover an intelligent methodology has been designed to achieve the desired results in an interactive manner.

Potential Game Convergence of Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc Networks 认知无线电自组织网络的潜在博弈收敛

Development of a system in which several unlicensed users strive to access the vacant licensed bands is a highly challenging task, especially in ad hoc networks where no centralized infrastructure exists. These unlicensed users, also called cognitive radios, must compete for the available frequency slots. The convergence of this system is difficult to achieve if nodes perform no information exchange and solely depend on their individual actions. In this paper, we analyze the cognitive radio networks for distributed channel allocation. It is observed that convergence is easier to establish in cooperative systems or systems where users perform information exchange. This kind of cooperative behavior can be enforced by providing incentives to nodes. The cooperation leads to an improvement in overall network performance as compared to the selfish users who are concerned only with their individual benefits.

A GA-FRBS Based Rate Enhancement Scheme for OFDM Based Hyperlans 一种基于GA-FRBS的OFDM超局域网速率增强方案

Adaptive communication is need and feature of every current communication system. In this technique the transmission parameters are adapted in such a way that overall system throughput may be enhanced while satisfying certain number of constraints. In short this is a constrained optimization problem. In this paper a similar constrained optimization problem is focused and solved by making certain parameters adaptive that are code rate, modulation scheme and transmit power in a multicarrier OFDM environment. For adapting the said parameters a Fuzzy Rule Base System (FRBS) is used in conjunction with Genetic Algorithm (GA). So FRBS and GA suggest the optimum code rate, modulation symbol and power with respect to the channel state information (CSI) given at any instance that can maximize the throughput while satisfying constraints like power and bit error rate (BER). Product codes and Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) are used as coding and modulation schemes respectively. Simulation results show the significance of proposed scheme.

Humidity Control with Interactive Web Monitoring: A Cost-Optimal Solution for Printing Industries 湿度控制与交互式网络监测:印刷行业成本最优的解决方案

Environmental parameters such as air moisture level pose a significant impact on the quality of prints. Although, solutions like industrial ultrasonic humidifiers exist to sustain satisfactory humidity levels but their cost overhead in small printing facilities becomes sometimes unjustifiable. In this paper a design based on evaporative misting principle is presented which in addition to being low-cost also incorporates modern remote monitoring technologies such as Web User Interface (WUI) over Wireless Fidelity (WiFi). For optimum coverage of printing facility, a sensor network is designed employing a custom protocol over RS-485 physical layer in a Single Master Multiple Slave (SMMS) topology. An electronic master controller is developed that co-ordinates with the sensor nodes located in different zones and accordingly generates control signals for actuators. The real-time remote monitoring over Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is accompanied with tools offering detail analysis of humidity profile of desired areas. All web services including live graphs and data logging are catered by means of Web Integrated Database Server (WIDS) hosted on a supervisory computer. Ultimately, the practical realization of the proposed design is accomplished by successfully executing the solution in a printing industry.

Cooperative Spectrum Sensing among Mobile Nodes in Cognitive Radio Distributed Network 认知无线电分布式网络中移动节点间的协同频谱感知

Recent advancements in communication have introduced several networking paradigms one of which is Cognitive Radio Network (CRN). CRN is a network of radios that can change its operating parameters based on interaction with the radio environment. Spectrum sensing for Cognitive Radio User (CRU) enables them to make use of unused spectrum portion. Consensus based algorithms are being developed by researchers to attain reliable spectrum sensing for which various techniques are employed. In this paper, the authors implement a consensus based algorithm by using energy detection as sensing technique and by utilizing cooperation among users. The consensus algorithm is applied on Mobile Nodes (MN) using random walk mobility model. Through this implementation an efficient cooperative spectrum sensing technique is proposed. Simulation results show that proposed technique has considerable lower missing detection probabilities and false alarm probabilities in distributed networks.

Error-Correction in Electronic Architectural Drawings 电子建筑图纸的纠错

Recently, three-dimension reconstruction has attracted much attention. The reconstruction from electronic architectural drawing is an important as well as urgent task according to the current situation. Errors in drawings will result in inaccurate three-dimension model, part of the methods based on scanned drawings which have been used before will be incomplete and have some drawbacks, therefore this paper proposes new strategies to deal with different categories of errors in the new system based on electronic architectural drawings.
近年来,三维重建备受关注。从目前的情况来看,利用电子建筑图纸进行重建是一项重要而紧迫的任务。图纸错误会导致三维模型不准确,以前使用的基于扫描图纸的方法部分不完整,存在一定的缺陷,因此本文提出了新的策略来处理基于电子建筑图纸的新系统中不同类别的错误。

Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Wavelet Based SSSC Damping Control Paradigm 基于自适应神经模糊小波的SSSC阻尼控制范式

The supplementary damping control can be efficiently used for Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) controllers to damp the low frequency oscillations in single and multi-machine power systems. These low frequency oscillations may lead to the instability of the system if not damped out properly. This paper presents, wavelet based adaptive NeuroFuzzy supplementary control by incorporating wavelets in the structure of Conventional Adaptive Fuzzy NN (CAFNN) for SSSC. The proposed control system has successfully been applied to single machine infinite bus system (SMIB) and multi-machine power system for various faults and operating conditions. Finally, the proposed control technique is compared with CAFNN using nonlinear time domain simulations for various faults and operating conditions. The results reveal that the proposed control has optimal damping performance as compared to CAFNN for both local and inter-area modes of oscillation.

Adaptive Neuro-fuzzy Sliding Mode Control Based Strategy for Active Suspension Control 基于自适应神经模糊滑模控制的主动悬架控制策略

Suspension system of a vehicle is used to minimize the effect of different road disturbances on ride comfort and to improve the vehicle control. A passive suspension system responds only to the deflection of the strut. While, the semi active system setup can dissipate energy from the system at an appropriate time, in a way or amount that is right for all the variables in the system. The main objective of this work is to design an efficient active suspension control for full car model with 8-Degrees of Freedom (DOF) using adaptive soft computing technique. So, in this study, an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy based Sliding Mode Control (ANFSMC) is used for full car active suspension system to improve the ride comfort and vehicle stability. ANFSMC is adapted in such a way as to estimate online the unknown dynamics and provide feedback response. The detailed mathematical model of ANFSMC has been developed and successfully applied to a full car model. The robustness of the presented ANFSMC has been proved on the basis of different performance indices. The analysis of MATLAB/SMULINK based simulation results reveals that the proposed ANFSMC has better ride comfort and vehicle handling as compared to passive or semi-active suspension systems.
