Analytical approaches for short-range wireless technologies evaluation 短距离无线技术评价的分析方法

Analytical evaluation approaches play a very important role, when the applicability of short-range wireless technology is assessed for emerging applications and scenarios, like machine-to-machine, device-to-device, heterogeneous networking, etc. Due to a set of limitations of measuring and simulation strategies, a closed-form equation describing the network characteristics as a function of parameters could be very suitable in the cases, that were not studied before: new application, traffic pattern or scenario. This paper presents an overview of existing approaches aiming to evaluate different types of short-range networking. Starting from simple cases: channel modeling and saturated system analysis, we finally come to the stability criteria and different traffic patterns affect on the network performance.

Medicine tracker for Smart TV 智能电视的药物追踪器

In this paper we estimate relevance of Smart TV as a platform for mobile healthcare applications. Suitability estimation is based on considering the roles that Smart TV can play in mobile healthcare area and benefits it provides. On top of our analysis we propose a prototype of a mobile healthcare application. Then, we present the actual application that is being developed accordingly to these specifications. Finally, we make a conclusion about relevance of Smart TV as a platform for mHealth applications.

Particularities of visualisation of medical and wellness data through a digital patient avatar 通过数字患者化身实现医疗和健康数据可视化的特殊性

In this work particularities of visualisation of medical and wellness data through a digital patient avatar are given from a standpoint of a proposed approach, under which data for a visualisation may be obtained from a variety of sources through defined interfaces, while end-user interfaces of distinct complexity and level of immersion into the model may be exposed to different categories of users. A short introduction of important medical data exchange standards, specifications and models is offered. A brief overview of projects relevant to a subject of this work is given. The proposed approach is presented along with examples of use-cases.
