The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on all aspects of people's lives. Economic crises and social problems are inevitable and touch all levels of society, especially the lower classes. Even so, the Indonesian people have proven resilience and empowerment in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The existence of the internet and social media has encouraged the emergence of digital social movements, one of which is Warga Bantu Warga (Citizens Helping Citizens). Through this movement, the Indonesian people work together, collaborate, and show solidarity in helping others overcome difficulties due to the pandemic. The movement seemed to bind the community collectively and direct their actions in actions that did not only occur on a regional scale, but also nationally in all provinces in Indonesia. Although it is a movement that was born and proceeds at the digital level, in fact this movement has produced great benefits for the community, and it still persists to this day when COVID-19 cases have decreased. This phenomenon is studied through a framing approach, so that it can be seen how the framing of events in the Warga Bantu Warga movement is able to harmonize understanding and mobilize social media users to join the Warga Bantu Warga movement.

This study aims to analyze resilience from sandwich generation during the pandemics concerning the needs for living place (rusunawa) in city space East Java province. Rusunawa is a part of strategic plan from Flats directorate, ministry of public works and society housing in 2020-2024 which provides new houses for about 107-967 units through program flats building, special house and stimulant budget for constructing new self-subsistent house. Rusunawa is made especially for the people who has low income, and were built in around 18.380 unit. The method of taking data is using in-depth interviews on four members of sandwich generation which located in Malang, Probolinggo, Surabaya, and Sidoarjo also second data resources in form of empirical study report and government documents which related strategic plan rusunawa construction, the number of sandwich generation, also number of possession status of the rental house. The result is the narratives of experiences of sandwich generation for choosing a place to live also the interaction that happened among the sandwich generation in defining urban resilience. This debate happens in the context of understanding and embedding the word of tough and defense city in the thought of the sandwich generation. The economy factor happened dominantly to the sandwich generation for choosing the needs of a place to live other than the capacity of economy capacity, human, also disturbance during pandemic. All together think about the economy capacity which they had in a way of more to choose a place to stay with ste status of 'rental house' than possesed their own house without considering another capacities in the elements of city defense. This thing become contradictory in the middle of effort of the government which getting intense to the evaluation of indicator of the tough city for manifesting city defense.

Stigma develops from places that are vulnerable to the spread of COVID-19. Stigma has an impact on socio-psychological conditions that cause mass complaints. This stigma causes people to feel panicked and eventually leads to paranoia. In accordance with the development of conditions related to COVID-19, this study aims to analyze the pattern of developing stigma and its anticipation pattern through the formation of collective solidarity. This research uses a mixed method approach. Data were analyzed and supported using SPSS 16 and Nvivo 12. Includes elements of social stigma, collective solidarity, anxiety, and attitudes to vaccines. The results show that there are several effects of stigma such as health risks, exclusion, anxiety, life discomfort, psychological disorders, reduced social and emotional capital, breaking of family ties and social solidarity that work as barriers to social welfare. The relationship between stigma and collective solidarity in this research is to fight misconceptions, misinformation and stigmatization, in which community members directly support each other, become volunteers, compose songs about COVID, hold lecture on the wisdom during the pandemic, and present humor that can strengthen the community and reduce the level of stigmatization in COVID-19 patients. In the formation of collective solidarity, namely using sympathetic narratives, communication methods that provide motivation to heal, mutually reinforcing attitudes, donation and sharing movements, strengthening social sensitivity, as well as active involvement of the private and public sectors. In the private and public sectors, especially for hospitals, this is done by allocating the state budget and providing better health management.

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the pattern of interaction and socialization of community members. One of them is an effort to build awareness and social solidarity to help each other, especially in the dimension of domestic needs, such as food fulfillment. The Jogja Food Solidarity Movement (Solidaritas Pangan Jogja/SPJ) represents a collective action that grew because of the awareness of individuals and groups to distribute food aid to informal workers and marginalized groups in Yogyakarta. This paper examines two main points; first, how SPJ manages its social network pattern during the Covid-19 pandemic. Second, why the SPJ movement is autonomous. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this paper finds that the SPJ movement maximizes social capital through networks and social support from non-governmental institutions, activist groups, artists, students, and the Kulon Progo Coastal Farmers Association (Paguyuban Petani Lahan Pantai/PPLP) to distribute food. to the public. The SPJ movement is formed organically, autonomously and rationally, which is a manifestation of systematically organized collective action. Through the analysis of the Resource Mobilization Theory (Teori Mobilisasi Sumber Daya/TMSD), the SPJ movement is needed to create and show collective dissatisfaction, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely without which dissatisfaction is only at the individual level.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic adds to the burden for single mothers. In addition to performing two functions at once, the pandemic forces them to survive difficult situations. This article describes the challenges facing single-mother as well as survival mechanisms during pandemics by phenomenological studies through direct observation and in-depth interviews conducted on single mothers in Ponteh Village. Data showed some of the challenges single-mother faced during the pandemic. First, there is an increase in double burden. One of the additional tasks for a single mother is the increasing burden of taking care of households needs due to their children’s schooling from home. Second, the decrease in income for household needs resulted from the government's mobility restriction policy. Third, the stereotyping of women (widows) that leads to social pressures. Survival mechanisms carried out by single mother during the pandemic are as follows. First, fostering optimism and taking care of each other. Second, using social relationships. Third, downsizing through reduced consumption and food substitutes, and fourth, diversifying and intensifying their jobs. This article therefore adds to the understanding that single mother women are no longer considered women who are unable to take care of their families when in fact they are able to overcome helplessness and difficult challenges.
