This paper proposes a new method of information fusion of oil fault diagnosis. Firstly a fuzzy decision information system is established using fuzzy processing of oil monitoring data. Aiming at the problem that rough set can not be directly applied to the data with continuous variable, this paper adopts the method of fuzzy information system knowledge discovery to the reduction of attributes, which can avoid the information loss by discretizating continuous attribute values in rough set theory. Then based on the connection between the fault symptoms of diesel and oil monitoring data, this paper constructs a Bayesian diagnosis network with the topological structure being used to express the qualitative knowledge and the probability distributions of the nodes in the network to solve the uncertainty of the knowledge. Finally, an example proves that the great significance that information fusion is used in the field of oil monitoring.

In 2004, Yang et al. proposed an efficient multi-secret sharing scheme based on two-variable one-way function and Shamirpsilas secret sharing, which needs to reconstruct a (t-1) or (p-1)th degree Lagrange interpolation polynomial. This paper proposes a more efficient multi-secret sharing scheme based on Yang et al.'s scheme and the Stern-Brocot tree, which needs to reconstruct a (t-1) or (p/2-1)th degree Lagrange interpolation polynomial. Thus, the computing time and the storage cost of this scheme is less than that of Yang et al.'s scheme.

In this paper, a systematic procedure is presented to analyze and design a stable fuzzy controller for a class of nonlinear systems. Based on the Popov-Lyapunovpsilas method, the flight model is described with the expertpsilas linguistic information involved. The linguistic information for the flight model is represented as fuzzy sets. First, we transform a fuzzy control system into a flight control system with uncertainties or nonlinearities. Second, the Popov-Lyapunovpsilas method is used to guarantee the stability of the flight control system, and a robustness measurement. The simulation results are included to show the effectiveness of the designed robust fuzzy controller.

A new approach to nonlinear calibration of thermocouple based on a improved least squares support vector regression machine (LS-SVR) is proposed. Firstly, the response of compensator based on the principle of inverse model is expressed in terms of thermocouplepsilas output by a power series. Therefore, the nonlinear calibration of thermocouple is transformed to the identification problem of compensator model. Then, aiming at the calibration data set with n data points and m features and n>>m, Sherman-Morrison-Woodbury (SMW) transformation is introduced, through which solving a LSSVR only involves inverting an m dimensional matrix instead of n dimensional one. Lastly, the data of platinum-rhodium 30-platinum-rhodium 6 thermocouple(B) are used to test and the experiment results demonstrate that the computational complexity of improved LSSVR is independent of the sample size n, and the efficiency of which is superior. Thus this compensation technique provides faster calibration on a large sample condition.

We carried out an entropy study on the DNS query traffic from the outside of a university campus network to the top domain DNS server when querying about reverse resolution on the PC room terminals through April 1st, 2007 to April 30th, 2008. The following interesting results are given: (1) In January 17th, 2008, the DNS query traffic is mainly dominated by several specific IP addresses as their query keywords. (2) We carried out forensic analysis on the PC room terminals in which IP addresses are found in the several specific keywords and it is concluded that the PCs become spam bots when inserting USB based key disk storage.

In this paper, we propose a face detection method based on statistical estimation for background. According to the characters of facial features provided by Viola, the method utilizes background estimation to produce training data, which improves segmentation performance of the detector. The system applies weight information of neural network to select strong facial features, and a cost function based on weighted examples enhances the classifierpsilas generalization power.

A novel immune quantum evolutionary algorithm based on chaotic searching for global optimization (CRIQEA) is proposed. Firstly, by niching methods population is divided into subpopulations automatically. Secondly, by using immune and catastrophe operator each subpopulation can obtain optimal solutions. Because of the quantum evolutionary algorithm with intrinsic parallelism it can maintain quite nicely the population diversity than the classical evolutionary algorithm; because of the immune operator and real representation for the chromosome it can accelerate the convergence speed. The chaotic searching technique for improving the performance of CRIQEA has been described; catastrophe operator based on chaotic dynamic systems is capable of escaping from local optima. Simulation results demonstrate the superiority of CRIQEA in this paper.

Comprehensive evaluation of distribute network planning is a multi-factors decision-making problem in complicated system. Combining with the factors of distribute network planning, a new comprehensive evaluation method named analytic network process (ANP) is proposed. Considering influence and restriction of the index with one another, a comprehensive evaluation model of distribute network planning is constructed using the theory. It overcomes the shortage of traditional analytic hierarchy process which requires independence among each index, and gains more reasonable actual index weight through super matrix calculating. To demonstrate the proposed method a worked example is performed on a test evaluation of distribution network planning. The result confirms the feasibility and rationality of ANP to the distribution planning evaluation problem.

The reinforcing steels in concrete are accurately located by means of revising the refractive index. The microstrip array antenna is used to transmit the microwave to the concrete with vertical incidence to and a 30deg angle inclination to the concrete plane respectively. The microwave frequency used is 2.4 GHz. The horizontal position of reinforcing steel is determined by the vertically incident microwave, and the vertical position of reinforcing steel is found out by the inclined incident wave. The position of reinforcing steel is corrected accurately by refractive index because of the refraction from oblique incidence. The complex permittivity of the concrete can be obtained through measuring its attenuation factor and refractive index to the microwave. The experiment results show a quite accurate location to the reinforcing steels, and the maximum error is not more than 0.6 cm.
