Results: No significant differences were demonstrated between pre- and post-operative scores of handicap associated with hearing, tinnitus or dizziness (Wilcoxan signed rank test, five per cent significance level). There were indicators therefore that the process of tumour removal and post-operative recovery had not heightened the patient perception of audio-vestibular handicap. Strategies to enhance hearing preservation the middle cranial fossa exposure. Hearing preservation is a realistic goal for acoustic tumours that are not in contact with the brainstem. Seizures, intracranial bleeding, temporal lobe stroke or aphasia have not occurred. Methods of exposure, tumour dissection, and auditory nerve near-field monitoring will be discussed. Conclusion: At least three mucins are expressed in the sinuses in chronic sinusitis with an inverse relationship between MUC2 and MUC5AC. In the lower respiratory tract, no specific relationship between these three mucins has been observed. This variable expression may reflect the multifactorial aetiology of chronic sinusitis such as infection, allergy. To simplify the procedure and increase lip augmentation safety, we have developed the KISS - Keep Injection Simple and Safe lip filler technique. To be simple, the method recommends only the evaluation of four anatomical parameters and the filling of five labial areas. To be safe, the injection is performed only in the supramuscular plane, using cannulas with a blunt tip, inserted in four entries: two in the upper lip and two in the lower lip. Fillers are injected in specific anatomical vectors for lips volumization, projection, contour improvement, and support of cupid’s bow and lip corners
