A Reconsideration of the Geometry Factor for the Standard and Profile Shifted Teeth 对标准齿和移形齿几何因素的重新考虑

A semi-empirical equation for the determination of the stress concentration factor for spur gears is introduced. The effects of some design parameters such as fillet radii of rack cutters, teeth number, and profile shifting factor, on the stress distribution at the fillets of gear teeth are investigated. Values of the modified geometry factors for the standard and profile shifted teeth are also derived. It is hoped that the present investigation may yield a more accurate prediction of the localized stresses a tooth fillets than the results thus far available

Minimum Fuel Consumption Design of a Turbo-Charged V-6 Engine 涡轮增压V-6发动机最小油耗设计

The design of a turbocharged, gasoline fueled, four-stroke engine is considered with the goal of selecting design and operating variables to minimize fuel comsumption. The development of the engine simulation code and the effect of model assumptions on the results are presented. The optimization includes constraints on detonation, exhaust emissions, and torque. A number of observations about the interaction between the thermofluid and the nonlinear programming algorithm are made and general strategies to enhance the optimization under such circumstances are discussed. The method is illustrated by exploring the design of a turbocharged Buick V-6 engine on an IBM PC/AT personal computer. The paper clearly demonstrates that it is feasible to do relatively sophisticated engineering design and optimization on personal computers, and it sets the stage for further work in this area

Displacement Analysis of Two Special Cases of the TTTR Mechanisms TTTR机构两种特殊情况的位移分析

A pair of quartic polynomials in the tangent of the output angular displacement were derived for two TTTR mechanisms designed in such a way that the serially connected pairs of Hooke joints have their successive transverse axes parallel or mutually perpendicular. These results form the basis for an efficient reverse displacement analysis and for the design of a new group of robots with three serially connected Hooke joints which may prove to be attractive to industry
