Galois lines for a canonical curve of genus 4, II: Skew cyclic lines 一类4属正则曲线的伽罗瓦线:斜循环线

Let $C subset mathbb{P}^3$ be a canonical curve of genus $4$ over an algebraically closed field $k$ of characteristic zero. For a line $l$, we consider the projection $pi_lcolon C rightarrow mathbb{P}^1$ with center $l$ and the extension of the function fields $pi^_lcolon k(mathbb{P}^1) hookrightarrow k(C)$. A line $l$ is referred to as a cyclic line if the extension $k(C)/pi_l^(k(mathbb{P}^1))$ is cyclic. A line $l subset mathbb{P}^3$ is said to be skew if $C cap l = emptyset$. We prove that the number of skew cyclic lines is equal to $0,1,3$ or $9$. We determine curves that have nine skew cyclic lines.

Groups of order $p^3$ are mixed Tate 阶$p^3$的群是混合的

A natural place to study the Chow ring of the classifying space BG, for G a linear algebraic group, is Voevodsky's triangulated category of motives, inside which Morel and Voevodsky, and Totaro have defined motives M(BG) and M^c(BG), respectively. We show that, for any group G of order p^3 over a field of characteristic not p which contains a primitive p^2-th root of unity, the motive M(BG) is a mixed Tate motive. We also show that, for a finite group G over a field of characteristic zero, M(BG) is a mixed Tate motive if and only M^c(BG) is a mixed Tate motive.

Solid generators in module categories and applications 模块类别和应用中的固体发生器

– Let 𝑅 be a commutative noetherian ring. Denote by mod 𝑅 the category of finitely generated 𝑅 -modules. In the present paper, we introduce the notion of solid subcategories of mod 𝑅 and investigate it. The main result of this paper not only recovers results of Schoutens, Krause and Stevenson, and Takahashi on thick subcategories, but also unifies and extends them to solid subcategories. Moreover, it provides some contributions to the study of the question asking when a thick subcategory is Serre.

Algebraic theory of formal regular-singular connections with parameters 带参数的形式正则-奇异连接的代数理论

This paper is divided into two parts. The first is a review, through categorical lenses, of the classical theory of regular-singular differential systems over $C((x))$ and $mathbb P^1_Csmallsetminus{0,infty}$, where $C$ is algebraically closed and of characteristic zero. It aims at reading the existing classification results as an equivalence between regular-singular systems and representations of the group $mathbb Z$. In the second part, we deal with regular-singular connections over $R((x))$ and $mathbb P_R^1smallsetminus{0,infty}$, where $R=C[[t_1,ldots,t_r]]/I$. The picture we offer shows that regular-singular connections are equivalent to representations of $mathbb Z$, now over $R$.

Orders of products of elements and nilpotency of terms in the lower central series and the derived series 下中心级数及派生级数中元素乘积的阶数与项的幂零

– In this paper we prove that if 𝐺 is a finite group, then the 𝑘 -th term of the lower central series is nilpotent if and only if for every 𝛾 𝑘 -values 𝑥, 𝑦 ∈ 𝐺 with coprime orders, either 𝜋 ( 𝑜 ( 𝑥 ) 𝑜 ( 𝑦 )) ⊆ 𝜋 ( 𝑜 ( 𝑥𝑦 )) or 𝑜 ( 𝑥 ) 𝑜 ( 𝑦 ) ≤ 𝑜 ( 𝑥𝑦 ) . We obtain an analogous version for the derived series of finite solvable groups, but replacing 𝛾 𝑘 -values by 𝛿 𝑘 -values. We will also discuss the existence of normal Sylow subgroups in the derived subgroup in terms of the order of the product of certain elements.

This paper deals with the isoperimetric problem for clusters in a Euclidean space with double density. In particular, we show that a limit of an isoperimetric minimizing sequence of clusters with volumes V is always isoperimetric for its own volumes (which may be smaller than V). Given a prime number p let Cp be the topological completion of the algebraic closure of the field of p-adic numbers. Let O(T ) be the Galois orbit of a transcendental element T of Cp with respect to the absolute Galois group. Our aim is to study the class of Galois equivariant functions defined on O(T ) with values in Cp. We show that each function from this class is continuous and we characterize the class of Lipschitz functions, respectively the class of differentiable functions, with respect to a new orthonormal basis.
