Local Fractional Sumudu Variational Iteration Method for Solving Partial Differential Equations with Local Fractional Derivative 求解具有局部分数阶导数的偏微分方程的局部分数阶Sumudu变分迭代法

In this paper, we combine the Sumudu transform method with the Adomian decomposition method in the sense of local fractional derivative, for solving linear and nonlinear local fractional partial differential equations. This method is called the Local Fractional Sumudu Variational Iteration Method (LFSVIM). The LFSVIM can easily be applied to many problems and is capable of reducing the size of computational work to find non-differentiable solutions to local fractional partial differential equations. Some illustrative examples are given, revealing the effectiveness and convenience of the method.

Optimization Approach Based on Immigration Strategies for Symmetric Traveling Salesman Problem 基于迁移策略的对称旅行商问题优化方法

The Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) is a combinatorial optimization problem of great importance which continues to interest several researchers in order to develop methods to achieve an optimal solution. Genetic algorithms (GAs) as meta-heuristic methods have been widely applied to this problem. Inspired by biological phenomena, we introduce two immigration operators, random immigration and structured memory immigration, forming two different algorithms. The performance of these algorithms is evaluated using benchmark datasets of symmetric TSP from TSPLIB library. The results of the proposed algorithms are compared with the standard genetic algorithm showing that the proposed algorithms improve the performance of GA in solving TSP problem effectively and specifically with the developed structured memory immigration.

On Starlike and Convex Functions in a Parabolic Region 关于抛物线区域上的星形函数和凸函数

Using the technique of differential subordination, we, here, find the best dominant having parabolic image for an operator which is a combined form of starlike and convex operators. As special cases of our main results, we obtain the sufficient conditions for parabolic starlike and uniformly convex functions.

Emden-Fowler Equation and Inverse Analysis of Simple Flows through Variable Permeability Porous Layers Emden-Fowler方程及变渗透率多孔层简单渗流逆分析

In this work we introduce an inverse method to analyze simple flows through variable permeability porous layers. Assuming that the velocity distribution is given, or specified as a function of the permeability, the governing equation is solved for the permeability distribution, then the velocity function is then recovered. Poiseuille-type flow involving Brinkman’s equation is considered together with other flow problems involving coupled parallel flow through composite layers. In case of flow through a Brinkman-Forchheimer layer over a Darcy layer, the governing equation was transformed into an Emden-Fowler equation whose solution provides a method for determining Beavers and Joseph slip parameter.
