Coverage Maximization and Energy Conservation for Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks: A Two Phase Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm 移动无线传感器网络的覆盖最大化与节能:一种两相粒子群优化算法

In mobile wireless sensor networks (WSN) coverage can be enhanced by moving the sensors so that a better arrangement is achieved. However, movement is a high energy consumption task. Therefore, in this paper besides coverage, the cost of moving the sensors is also taken into account. Both objectives are tackled in separate phases with coverage maximization in the first phase while energy conservation in the second phase. The coverage is optimized by rearranging the sensors' position while the energy is conserved by minimizing the maximum distance moved by the sensors. The algorithm performance is evaluated through simulation using different WSNs. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm increases the coverage and reduces the energy consumption significantly.

ANN-based Control Method Implemented in a Voltage Source Converter for Industrial Micro-grid 基于神经网络的工业微电网电压源变换器控制方法

With more and more attention on the grid current harmonic in recent years, many control schemes of the Pulse Width Modulation Voltage Source Converter (PWM-VSC) have been investigated. Conventional PI controller has shown limitations such as sensitivity to load and system parameter variation. Even the stability of the system can be threatened under a large and sudden load change. In this paper, the practical situation of a VSC for industrial Micro Grid (MG) is considered and an Artificial neural network (ANN) based control method is employed to solve the problem. Meanwhile, an on-line parameter tuning algorithm is introduced for its advantage of self-tuning and system character identification. The proposed control scheme is verified through simulation based on SABER software. The simulation results have shown the advantage of the proposed method and the performance of the parameter tuning session.

Modified Clonal Selection Algorithm Based Classifiers 基于分类器的改进克隆选择算法

The biological immune system is an adaptive, complex and robust system that helps the body defend from foreign pathogens. Clonal Selection algorithm (CLONALG) is one of the many algorithms that have been inspired by the adaptive biological immunity of human being and animals. CLONALG has been applied in data mining, pattern recognition and optimization problems. The present paper presents a modified CLONALG based classifier algorithms. CLONALG has many steps and one of these steps is initializing the antibodies pool. The present paper has proposed a new approach to initialize the antibodies pool for classifier design and provides some tests and experiments to show the effectiveness of CLONALG classifier performance with randomized and antigen initializations.

A Practical Framework for Cleaning Robots 清洁机器人的实用框架

This paper presents an extension to the pattern-based genetic algorithm for multiple cleaning robots to achieve complete coverage path planning in an unknown environment. The extension is formulated in the form of a framework which consists of four phases. The phases are scouting, task distribution, cleaning, and confirmation. The scouting phase allows the robots to scout in the initially unknown floor plan. The task distribution phase distributes cleaning tasks to multiple robots. The cleaning phase uses the pattern-based genetic algorithm with an added function to cater to unforeseen obstacles. The confirmation phaserecleans all the tiles. The performance of our proposed approach have been evaluated with six different floor plans through computer experiments. The cleaning phase performs better than the generic pattern-based genetic algorithm approach.

In this paper, we study the generation of bounded self similar tiling, which are finite in area, using tissue-like Parametric Tile Pasting P System.

Parallel Communication Synchronized Pure Pattern Grammar Systems with Filters 带过滤器的并行通信同步纯模式语法系统

Motivated by the study of pure pattern grammars by Abisha et al (2000), and parallel communicating grammar systems with communication by commands of Csuhaj -- Varju et al (2006), a new generative device, herein after referred as parallel communicating synchronizing pure pattern grammar systems with filters is introduced. In this grammar system, all components except the master are pure pattern grammars, but the master is a regular grammar with filter. This new generative device is compared with the earlier models [Abisha et al (2000), Csuhaj -- Varju et al (2006)] and found to have different properties. As expected, the result of the above combination is a very powerful mechanism.

Echo State Networks Based Method for Harmonic Extraction in Shunt Active Power Filters 基于回波状态网络的并联有源电力滤波器谐波提取方法

With the wide use of power conversion devices, harmonic currents are being injected into the power grid. Shunt Active Power Filters (SAPF) is a power electronic device to compensate the harmonic currents caused by nonlinear loads. As the foundation of the harmonics recognition and compensation, harmonic extraction techniques are becoming more and more important. This paper proposes a new harmonic extraction method based on the Echo State Networks (ESN). ESN is a new type of Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), which has much faster training speed than other types of RNN. To evaluate the dynamic system modeling capability of the ESN, the ESN with different dynamic reservoir size are discussed. The performance of the ESN based harmonic extraction method is compared with traditional methods and method based on multilayer perceptron networks (MLP). The ESN algorithm is trained and tested in MATLAB.

Segmentation of Peripheral Blood Smear Images Using Tissue-Like P Systems 基于类组织P系统的外周血涂片图像分割

Segmentation of medical images is a highly challenging process, especially when dealing with blood smear images, which have a very complex cell structure. The tissue-like P Systems, actually based on the methodology of cell and tissue behavior in a human body, are used in various areas of computation. Segmentation of medical images is one such area where these systems can be used, whereby the various objects in the images can be identified. The proposed work aims at segmenting the nuclei of the White Blood Cells (WBCs) of the peripheral blood smear images, which can help to identify various pathological conditions. In the first approach, segmentation is color based. The second approach is intensity based. In the third approach, morphology is used to strengthen the findings from the results.

Parallel Communicating Graph Grammar 并行通信图语法

In a Parallel Communicating Grammar System the components of a grammar system can also work in parallel (each having its own rewriting form) and communicate to each other in some way(sending the currently generated resultant graph to other components). In this paper we define parallel communicating edNCE graph grammar and parallel communicating ETPL(k) graph grammar. We present the condition to determine the parsing of a parallel communicating NCE graph grammar. PCedNCE graph grammar is found to be powerful than PCETPL(k) graph grammar.

Hybrid Workflow Net Based Architecture for Modeling Huntington's Disease 基于混合工作流网络的亨廷顿病建模体系结构

In order to understand and predict the behaviour of any system modeling is essential. Hence the research on modeling and simulation of complex biological systems has drawn the attention of the researchers of this field today. In this respect we have tried the characterization of Huntington's pathways through Hybrid workflow net. To enhance the effectiveness of the bio pathway model we have associated the verification process for the model with the help of automata. We have tried the performance analysis of the Huntington's disease model by modeling the functioning of the model based on automata.
