Educational Ministries in Korean Churches amid the COVID-19 Pandemic 新冠疫情下的韩国教会教育事业

The purpose of this study is to identify the direction of future Christian ministry by examining the educational/pastoral ministries of Korean churches during the COVID-19 period. The study used the case study method, where pastors from four different churches were the primary sources of data. Although each church has its own unique ministry, special early morning prayer meetings, family worship services, family Vacation Bible Schools, Bible writing and reading programs, and on-line discipleship training programs were common. In addition, each church implemented special programs that reflected the characteristics and needs of the church, like a talk show, visible radio, surfing meeting, and book-making of Bible manuscripts. Based on these results, ministry programs reflecting the church's pastoral philosophy, strengthening community consciousness, restoring the spiritual function of the family, utilizing online teaching methods, and psychological support for the underprivileged are proposed. In addition, the recovery of Christian publicity and the help from denomination or specialized institutions to develop the programs and online materials were suggested. Through this study, the direction of educational/ pastoral ministry in a time of COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 is proposed.

Poststructural Feminist Theology and Christian Education 后结构女性主义神学与基督教教育

In church tradition, cultural misappropriation has often legitimized unjust hierarchy rather than to challenge it. Under the rubric of culturalism, Christian Education has served to justify the oppressive system and maintain status quo as well. A feminist theologian, Rebecca Chopp argues that the contemporary Western culture has intensified narcissistic individualism and self-referentiality and has supported the powerful, while forced the marginalized to be silent. Chopp insists that the role, nature, and mission of Christianity is to provide Word and words of emancipatory transformation. She advocates poststructural feminist theology and aims at renewal of the socio-symbolic order in society by criticizing assumptions underneath language, culture and politics. In this study, we will review the interview with an Asian-American couple and disclose the underlying assumptions and hegemony which have contributed to maintain the male domineering system. I suggest that Christian education for emancipatory transformation should encourage the oppressed women to reflect critically the existing order and to restore their own voice through constructive intervention facilitating “plurivociy” and “problem-posing” dialogue. Proclaimation of transformative Word can empower the marginalized people to revision the world alternatives to monotheistic patriarchal modernism.

Flipped-PBL이 대학생의 자기주도적 학습역량에 미치는 영향 Flipped-PBL对大学生自主学习能力的影响

본 연구는 Flipped PBL이 대학생의 문제해결능력과 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향에 대해서 탐색했다. 이를 위해 경기도에 위치한 2개 대학의 기독교교육과와 유아교육과 학생들을 대상으로 실험집단 30명과 비교집단 30명을 대상으로 교직과목 중 교육방법 및 교육공학 수업으로 연구를 진행했다. Flipped Learning을 비교집단으로 Flipped-PBL을 실험집단으로 구분하여 수업 전에 사전 검사와 수업 종료 후 사후 검사로 문제해결능력 검사와 의사소통능력 검사를 실시하였다. 수집한 사전, 사후 검사 자료의 측정값을 비교하기 위해 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 실시했다. 그 결과 문제해결능력은 실험집단인 Flipped-PBL 집단의 평균은 4.28로서 비교집단인 Flipped Learning 집단의 평균인 3.91보다 높게 나타났다. 또한 의사소통능력에 있어서도 실험집단인 Flipped-PBL 집단의 평균이 4.06로서 비교집단인 Flipped Learning 집단의 평균인 3.32보다 높게 나타났다. 이는 연구결과 Flipped Learning을 수행한 비교집단과 Flipped PBL을 수행한 실험집단간에 문제해결능력과 의사소통능력에서 유의미한 효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 급변하는 사회 현상 속에서 변화의 요규를 받고 있는 교실 상황 속에 학습자의 문제해결능력과 의사소통능력까지 신장시킬 수 있는 Flipped PBL 기반의 수업을 대안적 교육방법으로 제시하며, 적극적으로 활용 될 수 있어야 할 것이다.
本研究探索了Flipped PBL对大学生解决问题能力和沟通能力的影响。为此,以位于京畿道的2所大学的基督教教育科和幼儿教育科的学生为对象,以30名实验集团和30名比较集团为对象,在教职科目中,以教育方法及教育工学授课来进行了研究。将Flipped Learning作为比较组,将Flipped-PBL分为实验组,在课前进行事前检查,下课后进行事后检查,进行问题解决能力检查和沟通能力检查。为了比较收集的事前、事后检查资料的测定值,实施了公方差分析(ANCOVA)。结果表明,解决问题的能力实验组Flipped-PBL组的平均值为4.28,高于比较组Flipped Learning组的平均值3.91。另外,在沟通能力方面,实验组Flipped-PBL组的平均值为4.06,高于比较组Flipped Learning组的平均值3.32。研究结果表明,进行Flipped Learning的实验组和进行Flipped PBL的实验组之间在解决问题能力和沟通能力方面具有显著的效果。在急剧变化的社会现象中,教室受到了变化的影响。在这种情况下,以Flipped PBL为基础的课程可以提高学习者的问题解决能力和沟通能力,应该作为替代教育方法提出,并积极加以利用。
