Evaluation of Predictive Capabilities of Similarity Metrics in Machine Learning 机器学习中相似性度量的预测能力评价

This paper explores prediction capabilities of similarity metrics used in machine learning algorithms. Predictive capabilities of various similarity metrics are examined based on their application on data sets of varying sizes and properties and evaluation of derived results. Predicting outcomes in machine learning is fundamental to many different machine learning algorithms and the findings in this paper will clarify how good their predictive capabilities are and under which conditions.

On Polynomial Approximations of Spectral Windows in Vertex-Frequency Representations 顶点-频率表示中谱窗的多项式逼近

Vertex-frequency analysis (VF) can be considered as a generalization of the classical time-frequency analysis. It provides tools and algorithms aiming to characterize the localized signal behavior in the joint vertex-frequency domain. Localized Graph Fourier Transform (LGFT) is an example of such a tool, with a role in the graphs signal processing which is equivalent to the role of the Short-time Fourier transform in traditional signal processing. Bearing in mind the rapidly increasing amounts of data and large dimensions of graphs related to practical applications, the calculation complexity of each tool for the spectral analysis of signals on graphs shall be continuously revisited. As they provide the possibility to calculate VF representations using only local neighborhoods of vertices, without the need for the eigendecomposition, polynomial approximations of spectral windows are commonly used in practice, mostly in the form of the Chebychev approximation. This paper revisits this choice, compares it with two other polynomial approximation approaches, and investigates their influence on the VF-based graph signal analysis and inversion.

Optimal Network Reconfiguration and Distributed Generation Allocation using Harris Hawks Optimization 基于Harris Hawks优化的最优网络重构和分布式发电分配

Distribution Network Reconfiguration (DNR) is the optimized change in the tie-lines connecting distribution system feeders without altering its radial structure. In this work, a recent DNR mathematical algorithm based on the graphical representation of the distribution system connections is employed to optimally allocate distributed generations (DGs) along with DNR, simultaneously. In this context, DGs based smart inverters are the used DG types. Case studies are conducted on the 83-node practical distribution system. The merits of this work are to improve loss minimization and enhance its voltage stability. A recent metaheuristic optimization algorithm is employed to solve the proposed mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem (MINLP) called Harris Hawks Optimization (HHO) algorithm. The proposed optimization approach succeeded in minimizing the total active losses by 21.428%.

MPPT controller based on the neural network model of the photovoltaic panel 基于神经网络的光伏板MPPT控制器模型

In this paper, we propose the MPPT algorithm that is based on the single-layer neural network model of the photovoltaic panel. It has been shown that the neural network can be employed to accurately model the relationship between the photovoltaic panel current, voltage, solar irradiance, and temperature. Unlike the equivalent circuit model, the neural network model can be used to calculate the gradient of the P-V curve, thus enabling the design of the simple MPPT technique that relies on the steepest ascent method. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm exhibits a faster convergence speed and a smaller steady-state error than the conventional P&O algorithm.

One Example of Mobile Hardware Platform for Sound Acquisition in Industrial Environment 工业环境下用于声音采集的移动硬件平台实例

In this paper we propose one possible solution of microprocessor hardware platform for acquisition of sound signals from coal mill in thermal power plant. Proposed platform is based on Raspberry Pi 3B microcomputer, running Raspbian operating system. Sound acquisition is performed by command-line sound recorder arecord, which is part of the software package available with this operating system. Experimental results showed that this platform provides recordings comparable to recordings acquired by professional sound recorder, for particular application.

Modelling Type-2 Fuzzy Systems by Optimized Nonstationary Fuzzy Sets with Genetic Algorithm 用遗传算法优化非平稳模糊集对二类模糊系统建模

The high computational complexity of type-2 fuzzy systems causes emerging of alternative methods. Nonstationary fuzzy system, which aims to model the type-2 fuzzy sets with a number of type-1 sets -obtained with the help of perturbation function- is one of these methods. In this study, the type-1 fuzzy subsets which are used in nonstationary systems are optimized by the help of the genetic algorithms. Thanks to the convergence rate of the genetic algorithm, the obtained type-1 fuzzy subsystems are close to the best solution. So, the nonstationary fuzzy set which is generated using the genetic algorithm gives us a better solution instead of the nonstationary fuzzy sets created by perturbation functions which are based on mostly randomness. The success of the obtained nonstationary fuzz set is proven by the simulation results.

Analysis of Ultrasound Sensor Applicability in AAL Systems for Cooking Process Monitoring 超声传感器在蒸煮过程监测AAL系统中的适用性分析

The trend of population aging and increasing number of people with cognitive and other impairments caused more demands in Ambient Assisted Living solutions development. The kitchen space and cooking process are identified as a critical in this domain, from security and assistive aspects. In this paper, we present a short overview of technical solutions related to the cooker monitoring and corresponding sensors. In order to improve existing solutions, we invoke the ultrasound sensor utilization for cookware detection, liquid level measurement and detection of user activities regarding the cooking process. We have setup the testing prototype based on ultrasound sensor and acquired some experimental results, which will be presented.

Structural System Analysis (SSA) is a complete and accurate method for producing the information system specifications. The main artifacts of this method are a hierarchical set of data flow diagrams, data dictionary, and specification of primitive processes. Silab-MDD approach defines a process to integrate the SSA method in the whole approach by developing domain-specific languages (DSLs) for specifying Data Flow diagrams and Data Dictionaries (DataDDSL). This paper focuses on DataDDSL.

The aim of this paper is the development of an intelligent programming robot for help with coding, using Java tools and libraries. This paper will examine the development process of Java software bots and their general objective. For the purpose of the successful development of an intelligent programming robot, the paper will provide theoretical guidance in selecting frameworks and development tools and assist in the development process, training and testing. It will compare existing software development tools for creating the bot that will quickly and reliably answer programming questions to users in the form of a conversation. As a result, it will provide a thorough foundation for the complete development of a chatbot.

This paper will examine the development process of Java software bots and their general objective. For the purpose of the successful development of an intelligent programming robot, the paper will provide theoretical guidance in selecting frameworks and development tools and assist in the development process, training and testing. It will compare existing software development tools for creating the bot that will quickly and reliably answer programming questions to users in the form of a conversation. Review of Unmanned Aerial Systems for the Use as Maritime Surveillance Assets 用于海上监视资产的无人机系统综述

The paper presents key features of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs) deployed within the H2020 project Coordination Of Maritime assets for Persistent And Systematic Surveillance (COMPASS2020). The project has been conceived to enhance maritime safety, search and rescue at sea, as well as controlling and monitoring irregular migration and securing the European maritime borders from narcotics smuggling by means of the seamless integration and coordination of several manned and unmanned vehicles, specifically suited for these purposes. In this paper only the aerial segment has been considered, i.e., the Zephyr pseudo-satellite, as well as the AR3 Net Ray and the AR5 Life Ray Evolution crafts. Comparative advantages and disadvantages of these systems are presented, along with their info-communication roles within the project. Also, some directions for further research in the field are specified.
