The purpose of this study is to seek the necessity of an eclectic integrated program through theoretical consideration of the concepts of dance movement therapy and dialectical behavior therapy and integrated approach counseling. The results of this study are as follows: First, it can be seen that the eclectic integrated program of dance movement therapy and dialectical behavior therapy can be applied more effectively to subjects suffering from emotional and interpersonal problems. Second, the integration of cognitive behavior therapy and dance movement therapy can be complementary to the intervention of dance movement therapy through movement in cognitive behavior therapy, which has limitations in verbal access. Third, the integration of existing psychotherapeutic models is the integration of common factors in which programs are attempted by finding common principles in two or more therapeutic models, which can overcome the limitations of specific psychotherapeutic models. Accordingly, the common factors of dance movement therapy and dialectical behavior therapy were analyzed, and the use of integrated methodology of body, emotion, cognition, and social parts, the use of awareness and awareness methodology, and the use of non-verbal treatment methods such as movement and behavior were common.

In this study, dance movement therapy is used to treat South American immigrant adolescents who are depressed, have problems with their self-esteem, The goal is to reduce dejection while boosting optimism and self-worth. Many South American migrant laborers enter South Korea illegally because there is no Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to dispatch manpower between the two countries, while others enter on tourist visas to work so they are in an unstable environment. Every Saturday from October 22 to April 23, the Catholic Pastoral Commission for Latin American Communities organized A total of 48 sessions were conducted in two sessions of 70 minutes each for six youth (accompanied by parents from Peru, Spain, Bolivia, and Colombia) to improve their self-esteem, reduce depression, and increase positivity. Based on the 6 categories of the Emotional Social System DMT (Ryu, 2017) study, the dance movement therapy program for migrant youth from South America to improve their self-esteem, reduce depression, and increase positivity. The program applied the following 6 categories were used: Kinesthetic Perception DMT, Grounding DMT, Interaction DMT, Synchronization of rhythm and kinetic connection DMT, Cognition Behavioural Action DMT, and Self-System Activation DMT. As a result, there was a meaningful positive improvement in self-esteem, positivity, and depression when the pre- and post-test results were compared. Dance movement therapy to improve self-esteem, reduce depression, and increase positivity for South American immigrant adolescents used movement as a psychotherapy tool to help them better understand themselves and unleash their inner spontaneity and creativity, ultimately helping to establish a confused identity, improve self-esteem, and lessen depression. The purpose of this study is to serve as a resource for future research on migratory youth from Latin America.

This study aims to present various approaches to Dance movement psychotherapy in a new psychotherapy paradigm by analyzing the similarities between Dance movement psychotherapy and Sensorimotor psychotherapy. In the past, psychology has developed based on experience-oriented clinical statistics, but with the development of advanced technologies to measure brain activity such as magnetic resonance imaging(FMRI) in the early 1990s, understanding of brain-neural-body interactions has increased. As advanced technologies such as magnetic resonance imaging(FMRI) can be used to measure physical responses in physical psychotherapy such as Dance movement psychotherapy, the perception of this is changing. One of the basic principles of Dance movement psychotherapy is that the body and mind constantly interact (Schoop, 1974).This reflects psychological development, psychopathology, subjective expression, personal pattern, and personality aspects. Sensorimotorpsychotherapy is a body work-oriented language-based psychotherapy developed by Pat Ogden, inspired by the structural integration work of Ron Kurtz and Rolf. Dance/movement psychotherapy is a treatment method applicable to lifelong development subjects, but it can be more effective if it is used in conjunction with other disciplines. As there are limitations and suggestions for every study. It is not easy to achieve effectiveness for all subjects with only a single specific psychotherapy technique. Therefore, this study aims to prove the effectiveness of Dance movement psychotherapy and explore the possibility of expanding Dance movement psychotherapy by comparing and analyzing Sensorimotor psychotherapy and Marian Chace, the founder of Dance movement psychotherapy. Marian Chace's Dance movement psychotherapy theory has early experience-oriented characteristics and is one of the representative techniques in the field of Dance/movement psychotherapy. Therefore, we would like to prove the effectiveness of Dance movement psychotherapy by comparing and analyzing with the current theory of Sensorimotor psychotherapy based on neurophysiology, and explore the possibility of expansion of Dance movement psychotherapy based on this.

The purpose of this study is to confirm that the core of trauma treatment is to deal with the body, and to in-depth analyze the experience of the REBT-based dance motion treatment group program for victims who have experienced domestic violence. The REBT-based dance movement treatment group program was conducted for victims of domestic violence, and the meaning was categorized into meaning units, categories, upper categories, and topics in Giorgi's phenomenological method to examine participation experiences. The results are as follows. 112 semantic units were derived, which were classified into 31 subcategories, 12 upper categories, and 2 topics. Details are as follows. Participating in the REBT-based dance movement therapy group program, participants accepted key problems and emotions through their own trauma traces, observation of me and others' movements, expanded awareness of others, self-awareness through breathing, self-care practice, learning through group sources, and counselor's attitude. The second topic is growth after participating in the program. Participants showed improvement in physical and emotional care ability, understanding and acceptance of themselves, relationship improvement, and problem-solving ability through interviews after the program ended. Through these results, it is meaningful to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the group program, expand the scope of use of REBT, a traditional psychotherapy technique, and provide basic data for activating integrated application.

This study is a single case study on the change in the therapeutic relationship between client therapists in the process of individual therapy for children through dance movement psychotherapy. The subject of the study is a male first-year elementary school student who was requested from the S local children's center in S city. The study period was from July 31, 2017 to January 22, 2018, with 20 weekly 60-minute programs. In this study, as a single case study method, the movement of the subject was properly observed based on LMA (Laban Movement Analysis). Explain the relationship between child-parent, child-therapist, and child parent-therapist, which are related variables in the child therapy process, and examine the relationship between child and therapist among each related variable through the treatment process of dance movement psychotherapy. We looked at how to approach children and how the client's children have changed. As a result of the study, it was found that according to the change in the relationship between the client and the therapist, dance movement psychotherapy has an effect on the subject's self-expression and emotional regulation. Variables are very important in the process of psychotherapy, and it is hoped that more diverse academic research will be conducted by examining the variables of the change in the therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist.

The purpose of this study is to research and analyze cases applying to the DMT(Dance Movement Therapy) program in the process of creating dance. Each session of the program that consisted of a total of 8 sessions was carried out in 60 minutes per week. The qualitative case research method was conducted based on accumulated date such as research participants(dancers)’ self-reports on each session, video records, in-depth interviews, and group discussions. The research results showed that the DMT program applying to Whitehouse’s active imagination was divided into 3 main areas and 12 sub-areas. Research participants’ physical perception(physical discomfort, physical transformation), emotional perception(trust, stability, responsibility, vividness, happiness, inspirational motivation, positive feeling, sorriness), and thinking perception(expansion of self-perception, expansion of creative· autonomous thinking perception) were drawn from the research. Through these research results, this study got developmental outcomes in expanding dancers’ physical, emotional, and thinking perception, in being specific about sending work images through integration, and in conveying physical meaning in the creation process. It is expected that follow-up studies continue as being interested in applicability of the DMT program in the process of creating dance.
