Advanced Successive Interference Cancellation for Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access 非正交多址的先进逐次干扰消除

This paper proposes an advanced successive interference cancellation strategy for the non-orthogonal multiple access technique. The strategy is based on mapping the received signals into sub-groups. The mapping process aims to achieve the highest rates for each of the sub-groups. After this mapping process, the conventional successive interference cancellation strategy is applied to each of the sub-groups for the signal separation process. According to analytical, asymptotic and Monte-Carlo simulation results, the advanced successive cancellation strategy outperforms the conventional successive interference cancellation strategy in terms of the outage performance. In addition, the new strategy also provides a new perspective for the user delay decoding process.

Split Neural Networks for Mobile Devices 移动设备的分裂神经网络

In some areas neural networks are becoming a non-alternative way of solving problems. Recognizing images, sounds, classification - these problems require serious processor power and memory for neural network learning and operation. Modern mobile devices have quite good characteristics for executing only the primary layers of deep neural networks, but there are not enough resources for entire networks. Since the training of non-mobile networks for mobile devices takes place separately on external resources, a method was developed for the distributed operation of a neural network with vertical partitioning sets of layers with synchronization of learning data. In some cases, the proposed approach allows to use full-sized deep neural networks on mobile device, where they are needed without overloading the communication channel and device resources.

We critically assess the possibilities for utilization of orbital angular momentum (OAM) of electromagnetic (EM) waves, alongside and in combination with other existing data transfer methods, for further capacity improvement of 5G systems. Special attention is devoted to inherent limitations imposed by the OAM beams. Trade-offs between the desired function and unavoidable limitations are discussed.

Circularly Polarized Patch Antenna Array at 24 GHz for Radar Applications 雷达用24ghz圆极化贴片天线阵列

The paper presents the design of the novel circularly polarized antenna array operating at IMS band 24.05-24.25 GHz. The antenna array consists of 24 identical truncated patches which are serially fed through the microstip line. The antenna is a travelling-wave array with exponential power distribution which provides very good side lobe suppression of 32 dB in the whole operating band making it suitable for automotive radar applications. Simulated axial ratio is below 3dB in the range (24.07-24.27) GHz, the antenna gain is around 18 dBi, cross polarization is better than 15 dB and return loss is greater than 16 dB in the entire IMS band.

The paper describes a multi-target speaker detection and identification system based on a fusion of probabilistic linear discriminant analysis (PLDA) and deep neural network (DNN). PLDA is the state-of-the-art approach used in speaker recognition, thus we selected it as our baseline. We tried to develop a DNN based approach, that would be more accurate than the baseline, but only better discrimination between blacklist and background speakers was achieved. The fusion of PLDA and DNN improved performance of the baseline system.

Theoretical Simulation of Nanosecond High Pressure Gas Discharge in the Pin-to-Plate Gap 纳秒高压气体在引脚-板间隙放电的理论模拟

The paper presents the results of numerical simulation of a nanosecond discharge in the diode of the pin-to-plate filled with nitrogen of atmospheric pressure. The simulation was carried out on the basis of the hydrodynamic model of the discharge, taking into account both the process of electron ionization and photoionization of the gas. It is shown that in the absence of photoionization discharge develops in an unstable scenario, and photoionization suppresses this instability. Comparison of the theoretical results and experimental data shows good correlation of spatial structures discharge.

Influence of Wire-Based Impedance-Matching on Helical Antenna Radiation 线基阻抗匹配对螺旋天线辐射的影响

We investigate the influence of internal impedance-matching network for an axial-mode helical antenna on its radiation pattern. This network, proposed in our previous work, comprises a single wire attached to the helix. We show that the matching wire, mounted on a tubular dielectric support and attached to the helix close to the reflector, does not degrade the antenna radiation pattern.

Analysis of the Possibilities for Improvement of BlockChain Technology 区块链技术改进的可能性分析

Bitcoin and Smart Contract are the first major applications of the BlockChain technology. But, with increasing the number of transactions, the process of verification on every transaction is very slow. This is the reason for a third major innovation called a BlockChain scaling. The scalability is a process of taking certain steps in accelerating the performing of transactions in this new technology. In this paper we analyze the possibilities for BlockChain scalability and we examine the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed solutions.

Complex-Valued Binary Compressive Sensing 复值二值压缩感知

One-bit (or binary) compressive sensing (CS) is a relatively new idea in the theory of sparse signal reconstruction. It is based on using only the sign of the available measurements for the signal recovery. In this paper, we analyze the one-bit CS concepts on complex-valued random Gaussian measurement matrices. The signal is reconstructed using an iterative hard thresholding algorithm, modified for the complex-valued binary measurements. The considered CS approach is particularly suitable for hardware realizations. The reconstruction performance is validated numerically, and compared with the traditional CS reconstruction based on quantized digital measurements.

The safety standards have role to stimulate designers to pay attention more on the functions that are necessary to reduce each individual risk, instead of focusing on particular components. Applying these standards, the performance of each function is in the designer's focus as well. These standards allow higher level of safety during the machine's life. This paper enumerates all fields that have importance for safety legislation and standards, and on the other hand, it tries to answer the question: What is the impact of using the different safety standards on the tester work?

Applying these standards, the performance of each function is in the designer's focus as well. These standards allow higher level of safety during the machine's life.
