Application of TSC in reactive compensation in traction substations TSC在牵引变电站无功补偿中的应用

This paper presents the parameter design of components of thyristor switched capacitor (TSC) compensation with step-down transformer under the restriction of reactive power balance, and also mentions the pattern of TSC cooperated with fixed capacitor banks. The design and simulation is fully automated by the visual CVI. According to the data measured on the spot, the operation of the selected scheme is reappeared.

Multi-agent intelligent field terminals for autonomous decentralized water delivery control systems 自主分散输水控制系统的多智能体智能现场终端

Through our research, we have developed a unique, autonomous decentralized system that can be used in the water control field. In conventional control systems, certain send-and-receive functions are installed in the front-end processor (FEP) of the master station according to various properties of the information arriving from field terminals (FTs). The host computer reacts by sending control data to the FTs in accordance with the pre-installed optimum control algorithm, which receives transmitted information from the FEP. Our method intellectualizes a FT to be an intelligent field terminal (IFT) which judges the diverse information from devices of other FTs automatically and autonomously without depending on the host CPU or the FEP. The IFT provides multi-agent functions which can distinguish certain information conditions from other IFTs and can cooperate with the diverse functional agents of an IFT to resolve data conflicts among IFTs.

The paper presents an analysis for the control strategy of symmetry compensation system (SCS) of traction power supply system in phase (TPSSIP). The theory of traction power supply system in phase and three study conditions are classified. The method that conforms the capacity of symmetry compensation system is outlined. The control strategy of SCS is validated by simulation program.

The revolution of railway system by using advanced information technology 利用先进的信息技术进行铁路系统的革命

Introduces application examples of information technology as it is applied in several fields of the railway system, namely transportation and safety, service, maintenance and the Internet. This paper shows that safety, efficiency and convenience have been improved in the areas of railway use, operations and maintenance. This is followed by a section on a new train control system for high-density lines that uses methods for transmitting information to the train about the distance to the position at which the train must stop, which is necessary for train control. This system is realized through the advanced application of information technology. Until now, it has been impossible to realize efficient operations in high-density lines due to limitations of existing signal technology. However, this has now become possible with the new train control system. The paper introduces the information technology used in this system and future developments.

Task-oriented modelling of autonomous decentralised systems 自主分散系统的面向任务建模

An ongoing project of the Programme for Highly Dependable Systems (PHDS) at the University of the Witwatersrand is the development of a dependable decentralised system using readily available hardware and software components. An experimental system has been developed to support multiple-task applications with different levels of criticality. Fault-tolerant protocols are used to detect faults, to mask incorrect results from faulty nodes. A task in a faulty node can he recovered through a system reconfiguration or task reallocation. A faulty node can he repaired and reintegrated into the system. This paper focuses on modelling the system under the occurrence of faults, reconfiguration and repair. The method developed can be used to evaluate individual task's reliability, risk and availability.

An efficient position-based dynamic location algorithm 一种高效的基于位置的动态定位算法

In this paper a mobile position-based dynamic location algorithm (MPBDL) is proposed based on measured time of arrival (TOA). This algorithm can be used in cellular networks to estimate the mobile location from TOA information detected by several base stations (BS). The TOA number and its corresponding weight utilized in this algorithm can be dynamically adjusted according to the distance between the mobile station (MS) and serving base station. A location estimate can also be made if only the TOA and angle of arrival (AOA) are measured by the serving BS. Therefore this algorithm could be applied to most cellular networks to make the MS location estimate. Simulation results demonstrate that the location performance of this algorithm is satisfactory in three typical mobile communication channels.

The idea application of autonomous decentralized system in DeviceNet system 自主分散系统思想在DeviceNet系统中的应用

As a breakthrough over conventional systems a new kind of computer control system model, the autonomous decentralized system (ADS) is proposed. ADS makes the on-line expansion fault-tolerance and on-line maintenance of the system possible. In addition, a new kind of industrial control system, the fieldbus control system (FCS) arises, which introduces the concept of communication and management in the network into the industrial control field. DeviceNet based on CAN (controller area network) was raised as one of the fieldbuses in 1998, which makes the system's integration easier and enhances the system's interoperability. In the paper, the applications of some ideas of ADS in DeviceNet are discussed and some comparisons between ADS and DeviceNet are presented.

Mobile agents systems accomplish some set of tasks or achieve some set of goals through groups of cooperative agents. This paper is trying to formalize a cooperative autonomous mobile agents system and capture the dynamic character of agent group. We use distributed join-calculus as our basic framework and make the extension with a definition for teams. The chemical semantics is given. We also present an example to illustrate how to express team actions with the new constructs.

The application of multi-criterion satisfactory optimization in FIR digital filter design 多准则满意优化在FIR数字滤波器设计中的应用

The paper presents a new approach, which uses multi-criterion satisfactory optimization (MCSO) in digital filter design. We use the frequency-sampling method in finite impulse response (FIR) digital filter design, and use multi-criterion satisfactory optimization to optimize the unspecified frequency samples occurring in the transition bands. The results show that our method is useful for FIR digital filter design.

A fuzzy neural network based on fuzzy weighted reasoning method 一种基于模糊加权推理的模糊神经网络方法

An improved fuzzy weighted reasoning method is presented on the basis of the 'Mamdani' reasoning method. A fuzzy neural network is developed based on the improved fuzzy weighted reasoning method. The training of network weights and optimization of membership functions are conducted using genetic algorithms. Fuzzy rules can be obtained according to the weights of the network. The effectiveness of the network model and the algorithm is examined by simulated experiments.

The training of network weights and optimization of membership functions are conducted using genetic algorithms. Fuzzy rules can be obtained according to the weights of the network.
