The paper deals with research of problems and perspectives of communication and information technologies in Russia. We made the analysis of scientific publications which determine the role of communication and information technologies in social and economic development which allows us to reveal several approaches that differ in the field of application used by the structural unit of the national economy and the point of view on the totality of communication and information technologies’ components. In our opinion the mass appearance of information products and services contributed to the formation of the information market, which has its own characteristics, problems and development trends, but undoubtedly has a significant and constantly growing impact on the general economic situation in Russia. We made the conclusion that the development of the communication and information technologies sector, significantly advancing in recent years, the development of the economy as a whole is affected by the general economic situation in Russia.

English Abstract: The process of managing risks and communication practices in the context of modernity is analyzed. Communicative practices that play the role of external and internal content of the risk management process in the current situation are considered. For the studies of the connectedness of risks and communicative practices of our time, the methodology and discursive practices of John Law are used.

This paper is concerned with the multitude of interleaving issues which emerge when engaging multiple stakeholders in decision making. Whilst recognising the intrinsic values of group work (including shared views, wide option selection, public spirited focus, legitimacy of decisions and improved intellectual content) and keeping in mind the numerous issues which confuse and obscure clear findings from group work (including multiple roles for participants, bias due to domination and distortion emerging from uneven group inputs) this paper uses an innovative methodology - the Triple Task - to propose a new framework for organising multi-stakeholder consultations. The Triple Task methodology was applied to test the new framework on multi-stakeholders in the context of education in Abu Dhabi, where various small groups were tasked and assessed using the methodology. The results indicate that moving participants from heterogeneous to homogenous groups results on these groups becoming more focused in their outcomes with greater clarity in the thinking of group members.

This paper shows how the literature on identity can enhance the so-far underdeveloped appreciation of social context in the theory of the firm. While taking context into account, I explain why the literatures overlap in significant ways and I propose an analytical map which relies on and matches the three central questions of both literatures. The three central questions on identity – identification, individuation and multiple social identities – are coupled respectively with the three central questions on the firm – the nature of the firm, internal organization and firm boundaries. This identity-based extension of the economics of the firm contributes to the organization of the literature by extending the analysis of identity to questions that go beyond the primary question of identification. In doing so, it identifies two key research agendas: the role of internal organization in enabling individuation and the role of firm boundaries in enabling collective intentions.
