Musculoskeletal pain in the work environment represents a problem within public health, which is caused by various factors. This situation is not alien to the staff that works at the Amozoc Polytechnic University, made up of a population of 47 people in the full-time administrative and academic area, who within their office activities carry out repetitive movements, adopting postures for prolonged time, generating an increase in energy expenditure and lacking ergonomic adaptations that predispose staff to suffer from some type of musculoskeletal disorder that in the long term will trigger the appearance of chronic degenerative disorders of the locomotor system because, according to the WHO (2021) these affect 1710 million people causing disability, limiting mobility, dexterity and social participation. Therefore, the objective of this work is to identify the presence of pain associated with Musculoskeletal Disorders caused by risk factors during the workday, through the application of the Nordic questionnaire that is focused on the identification of musculoskeletal symptoms in occupational health. necessary to substantiate the need to promote physiotherapeutic intervention within the workplace in a preventive way that contributes to occupational health.

As a result of the health contingency caused by COVID-19; The following events occurred on March 30, a national health emergency was declared in Mexico. Leading to the establishment of measures for its prevention and control of the disease Suarez (2020). Likewise, the different levels of the educational system presented a change of dynamics with respect to the face-to-face classes replaced by the distance modality. Therefore, the students of the Polytechnic University of Amozoc of the Degree in Physical Therapy see the need to adopt the distance education model and thereby increase the hours sitting in inappropriate seats in front of a device; laptop, mobile phone and tablet. This results in the emergence of painful syndromes, especially when inappropriate postures are adopted, according to the data obtained through a questionnaire applied to the UPAM community. In response to this problem, a program of therapeutic exercise and postural education was implemented through the use of a videoconference application that influences the promotion and prevention of health within the school context (virtual modality) in improving their school performance and activities. of daily life.

In recent years, the use of image processing has increased considerably in the area of health sciences. The use of artificial intelligence techniques helps to strengthen diagnosis and/or to follow up medical treatments. In this work we present a method that allows the identification of Parkinson's disease by processing images corresponding to spirals and waves made by suspicious patients. This set of images was specially developed for this purpose and corresponds to a public database. Results obtained in two classification scenarios and four different learning methods are presented. Standard evaluation metrics are used to measure the performance of the implemented classification system. The results obtained are of the order of 90% accuracy which allows to see the effectiveness of the implemented methodology.

This paper describes the design and construction of a mechatronic system that aims to support physical therapies for the rehabilitation of the knee and ankle, assisting the patient in flexion and extension movements. The system consists of a mechanism that can be adapted to the patient, a data acquisition stage consisting of an Arduino and a virtual interface programmed in LabVIEW. The above in order to achieve a continuous passive movement device that reduces stiffness and pain in the joints, generating a gradual and slow movement determined by the physiotherapist.

Quality assurance in fresh food, as well as biosafety for human consumption has led us to develop technological alternatives that guarantee food safety in the face of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. An alternative is nanomaterials, which have multiple properties or mechanisms of action, such as antimicrobials, antifungals and / or antivirals, making them an alternative as a biocidal agent of great interest in the current pandemic that humanity is experiencing. nowadays. In this work, a preliminary study is presented on the in vitro antimicrobial action mechanism of aqueous extracts of lemon peel mixed with a colloidal solution of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) biosynthesized from plant extracts, and with a range of diameters between 20 and 50 nm. The microbiological tests in Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922) demonstrated a growth inhibitory effect for all treatments with AgNPs, while for the extracts a reduced inhibitory effect was observed in disk diffusion and null for the test in nutritive broth. As a result of preliminary studies in lemons, we conclude that the use of nanotechnology in colloidal solution for the agricultural area promotes food safety and its application can be extended to other agricultural products susceptible to contamination.

Introduction: The behavior of the heart rate in the different menopause stages is a parameter that should be considered in the high incidence of cardiovascular disease. Objective: A comparative study of 200 women aged 25 to 57 is presented. Methodology: The women were divided into four groups: pre-menopausal, peri-menopausal, early post-menopausal and late post-menopausal, registers were obtained by using the heart rate a polar clock for four hours, then a questionnaire was applied to measure anxiety, sexual interest, and perception of stress and serum levels of FSH and cortisol. Results: During perimenopause, the heart rate shows a greater number of decreases and/or elevations (p <0.001) showing that at this stage the heart rate is unstable. Discussion In the early post-menopause, the heart rate was higher compared to the rest of the stages. The heart rate at perimenopause is unstable, presenting greater variation than the previous stages and in the early pre-menopause, heart rate is higher than the other stages. Conclusion The heart rate during the perimenopause is unstable presents greater variation than the other stages and in the early pre-menopause the heart rate is higher than the rest of the stages studied

This paper describes the situation in which the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (LEI) programme at the Autonomous University of Nayarit (UAN), under the circumstances and conditions experienced due to Covid- 19 has given follow-up and attention to the students. The confinement and online work has had significant repercussions in the area of health and emotions of our students that must be considered. There are many challenges they have faced due to lack of connectivity, time for online work, lack of working equipment, and lack of products for their learning units.

Background: The diagnosis of dementia is complicated due to the frequent coexistence of degenerative changes and the lack of uniformity in diagnostic criteria. Objective: To determine the correlation between computed tomography and risk factors in patients with dementia. Methods: 100 patients with a diagnosis of senile dementia, vascular dementia, or Alzheimer's disease were studied. Vascular risk factors included diabetes mellitus, hypertension, cerebrovascular disease, and hypercholesterolemia. CT scans and Hachinski Ischemic scores were recorded. Results: A total of 100 patients (69 women, 31 men) with the prevalence of dementia were studied. The average for women was 79.81 ± 8.2 years. Metabolic concentrations were of no significant value, provided 56% had risk factors such as hypertension. Symptom onset was recorded at 41.39 ± 30.08 months. Computed tomography revealed that 16 % presented signs of ischemia, 12 % cortico-subcortical atrophy, 1 % infarction, and 1% were detected with signs of frontal-parietal flattening. Conclusions: It is possible to use computed tomography in conjunction with vascular risk factors to detect cognitive impairment.
