Exploring Awareness, Knowledge, and Attitudes Regarding Tyre Safety Information among Commercial Drivers in Taraba State, Nigeria 探索尼日利亚塔拉巴州商业司机对轮胎安全信息的认识、知识和态度

This research investigated the awareness, knowledge, and attitude to information concerning tyre safety use among commercial drivers in Taraba State, Nigeria. The study employed a mixed research method and focused on commercial drivers who are members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Taraba State. Data were gathered by administering a questionnaire to 360 respondents and three Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with six members in each group. Descriptive statistics and thematic analysis were used for data analysis. The results show a high level of awareness regarding tyre inflation pressure (72.5%) and tyre tread information (71.4%) among the respondents. However, awareness levels are lower for regular tyre service, ageing information, and load and speed information. The primary sources of tyre safety information for the respondents are vulcanizers (33.6%), peers (21.6%), and tyre sellers (20%). However, knowledge about most aspects of tyre safety information is generally low, except for tyre tread and inflation pressure. Furthermore, the study revealed a negative attitude towards most aspects of tyre safety information, except for tyre tread and inflation pressure. The study recommended that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) enhance tyre safety awareness campaigns and monitoring in Taraba State using multi-channels of communication and targeting vulcanizers, tyre sellers, and opinion leaders such as NURTW officials and religious institutions.

Integrating Digital Skills Competencies into Professional Diploma in Education Curriculum in Vocational and Technical Education in North-East Nigeria 将数字技能能力纳入尼日利亚东北部职业技术教育专业教育文凭课程

The main aim of the study was to integrate digital skills competencies into Professional Diploma in Education curriculum in Vocational and Technical Education in North-East Nigeria. The study was guided by three research questions and three hypotheses. The study adopted a survey research design was carried out in northeast Nigeria. The population of the study was 1485 comprising 993 Vocational and Technical Education lecturers from 9 Colleges of Education (COEs) where PDE are undertaken in the northeast, 210 ICT experts from the 9 COEs, and 182 Education Supervisors from the Ministry of Education in the six States of the Northeast. The study adopted Simple random sampling and a sample size of 317 respondents was determined using Krejcie and Morgan (1970) sample size table. A structured questionnaire was utilized to gather data for the study. The questionnaire was validated by three experts and a reliability index of 0.86 was obtained using Cronbach Alpha after a trial test. The data for the study was analyzed using mean and standard deviation to answer the research questions while ANOVA was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 l3v3l of significance. The study revealed that 26 digital skills competences, 26 general performance objective as well as 26 specific objectives each grouped into 8 clusters were found relevant for inclusion into the vocational and technical Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) curriculum in northeast, Nigeria. It was recommended that The National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), and the National Teachers Institute (NTI) should adopt the identified digital competencies into the PDE curriculum of the Vocational and Technical Education curriculum; and the NCCE and NTI should update the curriculum guidelines and standards to explicitly include digital skills competencies as essential components of the PDE curriculum in vocational and technical education.

Challenges and Prospects of Artificial Intelligence in Nigerian Journalism Practice: A Narrative Review 人工智能在尼日利亚新闻实践中的挑战与前景:叙事回顾

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into Nigerian journalism practices presents both challenges and prospects for the industry. This paper explores the dynamic interplay between AI technologies and journalism in Nigeria, addressing key conceptual clarifications, theoretical frameworks, challenges, and prospects associated with AI utilization in the field. Drawing upon existing literature, the study examines the multifaceted nature of AI, ranging from its conceptual underpinnings to its practical applications in journalism. It utilizes the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework to analyze the factors influencing AI adoption within Nigerian newsrooms, considering technological, organizational, and environmental contexts. Identifying challenges such as infrastructural limitations, financial constraints, cultural resistance, and ethical considerations, the paper elucidates the complexities inherent in AI integration in Nigerian journalism. These challenges encompass issues of data quality, transparency, bias, and accountability, underscoring the need for responsible AI implementation and robust ethical frameworks. Additionally, the paper discusses the prospects offered by AI in enhancing journalistic efficiency, facilitating data-driven reporting, personalizing news delivery, and combating misinformation. By leveraging AI for fact-checking, multilingual reporting, predictive analytics, and automated content generation, Nigerian journalists can innovate and adapt to the evolving media landscape. Moreover, AI presents opportunities for improving audience engagement, storytelling, collaboration, and addressing bias and ethics concerns. Embracing AI in journalism also creates educational pathways for aspiring journalists, fostering skill development and innovation in the industry.

Education is a major pillar in the development of a nation, and the quality of education becomes a key factor in determining the progress of a society. In this digital era, there is a rapid development in the use of information technology, and this has a significant impact on the education sector.  The purpose of this study is for data-driven education: data processing as the key to improving the quality of mathematics education. This research uses a mixed method that combines qualitative and quantitative methods. This approach was chosen to address the complexity of data management and the comprehensiveness of this topic. The research begins with an in-depth literature analysis to understand the potential of Data-Driven Education. By using data as a guide, educators can make smarter decisions, detail instructional strategies, and create an educational environment that allows each student to reach his or her full potential. This is done by combining the results of various data of educator learners who can make informational decisions to improve the quality of mathematics learning. The application of data management in the context of mathematics education can provide concrete solutions to overcome challenges and improve the quality of learning. The right use of data provides the basis for smarter decisions and more adaptive learning, creating a learning environment that fits the needs of each student. By integrating Data-Driven Education effectively, we can move towards a more inclusive, personalized and successful mathematics education. The use of data contributes significantly in improving the quality and inclusivity of mathematics education. This report explores the fundamental use of differential equations in understanding and modeling dynamic systems, tracing its roots for the contributions of mathematicians. Differential equations act as a basic platform for scientific and engineering research, providing insights into the dynamics of physical, and social systems. Their adaptability and associative applicability, especially in fields like environmental science and technology learning, highlight their main importance. The report dwells with specific applications in engineering, emphasizing their role in dynamic systems, control theory, and optimization. The definitions and types of differential equations are explained, showcasing their diverse characteristics. The historical evolution of differential equations, spanning centuries, underscores their continual refinement and application in various scientific disciplines. Moreover, the report presents hypothetical case studies illustrating the application of differential equations in the calculation of mass of fuel tank of rocket, time required by rocket to become triple its initial velocity. These examples showcase the practical utility of differential equations in enhancing precision and efficiency in space exploration. The advantages of application of differential equations in three-dimensional space are highlighted, emphasizing their role in realistic modeling, multidimensional dynamics, and scientific exploration. However, the report also contains certain drawback, such as increased complexity, computational intensity, and visualization challenges associated with three-dimensional systems. In conclusion, the study of differential equations remains vital for unraveling the complexities of the natural world and technological advancements, demonstrating their enduring significance in advancing human knowledge, healthcare, and innovation.

Learning Speaking Using Guided Conversation Method to Increase Student Ability to Compose a Simple Dialoge 利用会话引导法学习口语,提高学生撰写简单对话的能力

This article explores the use of innovative strategies in improving learners' ability to create simple dialog among Grade 8 learners at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman Sidoarjo. The main focus of this research is to apply project-based learning model combined with guided conversation technique in learning the material of asking and giving opinion. Project-based learning as a learning model aims to stimulate the activeness, creativity of students in completing the learning. Learners are guided to create text in the form of a simple dialog with the theme of asking and giving opinion and then practiced with peers. By using guided conversation techniques, learners are guided intently to achieve learning objectives. Learning begins with the use of ice breaking relevant to the material, triggering questions, video footage, imitating conversations based on the text that has been provided until the practice of making conversations is a form of guidance to students. The research method applied in this study carries a combinative approach between project-based learning models with guided conversation techniques. The observation results showed a significant increase in students' active participation during the learning process. Students were more actively involved in group discussions, questions, and assignments. They are not only the recipients of information, but also the main actors in their own learning. This increased participation indicates that the models and techniques used are able to create a learning environment that stimulates more intensive student engagement.  The conclusion we can draw is that this innovative strategy proves that the use of project-based learning model with guided conversation technique can be an effective step in improving learners' ability in the creation of speaking text in English language learning.

In this thesis, the author is looking for the effect of daily conversation on developing speaking skill. The purpose of this research is to use the daily conversation to teach the Arabic Language in the intermediate stage of the Islamic Education School Canduang. The researcher used the experimental. The researcher sampled 40 people, 20 in the experimental class and 20 in the control class. From the previous result, I found the effect on the education result in two class, students in the experimental class thet employs daily conversation found their results better and more beautiful than the control class that does not employ daily conversation. The arithmetic test is 3,536, as for result of the T as the above data should be known to known the significance of the difference between the two groups, if the sig. (2-tailed) tail is smaller than 0,05 it is 0,001, so there is a big difference. From the above data, there is the effect of daily conversation developing speaking skills in the middle stage among students of the Islamic Education School Canduang.

The Effect of Dhuha Study Activities on the Spiritual Intelligence of Students of Padang State University 禅修活动对巴东州立大学学生精神智力的影响

The background of this research is that the value of dhuha study activities on the Spiritual Intelligence of Padang State University Students is unknown. Therefore, the Qatulistiwa Islam Spiritual Activities Unit, Padang State University, is holding a dhuha study activity. This study aims to determine the effect of dhuha study activities on the spiritual intelligence of Padang State University students. This study uses a quantitative method. The method in this study uses a correlational quantitative method which is a type of non-experimental research method in which the researcher measures two variables, and understands and assesses the statistical relationship between the variables, without the influence of extraneous variables. The population of this study were all students of Padang State University who had participated in the Dhuha Study Activities totaling 937 people in the July-December 2022 and January-June 2023 semesters. The sample of this study was 90 students who had participated in the Dhuha study activities in the July-December 2022 and January-December 2022 semesters. June 2023. This research explains that the Islamic Dhuha Qatulistiwa Study Activity influences the Spiritual Intelligence of Padang State University students. Research explains that the value of dhuha study activities and the value of spiritual intelligence has a relationship with the results of SPSS statistics version 29 of the normality test of 0.008, meaning that the significance value is greater than α (0.008 > 0.05) meaning that the data is normally distributed. A simple linear regression test of the Dhuha study activity variable (X) obtained a value of dhuha study activities of 6,824, this is The independent variable Dhuha study activities (X) on Padang State University students has a positive effect. Spiritual intelligence results in a normality test value of 0.158 > 0.05 meaning that the data is normally distributed, a simple linear regression test for the spiritual intelligence variable (Y) gets a value of 1,220, this is the dependent variable Spiritual Intelligence (Y) for Padang State University Students has a positive effect. Influence on the Spiritual Intelligence of Padang State University students. F count = 252,654> F table 3,099 or a Sig of 0.000 < 0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The simultaneous significant test produces a calculated F value = 252,654> F table 3,099 or a Sig of 0.000 <0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. As well as the results of the test for the coefficient of determination, which obtained an R Squer value of 0.742, which means the influence of the independent variable (Dhuha Study Activity) of 74.2% on the dependent variable (Spiritual Intelligence). While the remaining 25.8 % is influenced by other factors outside the research.

This research was due to discover Analysis of Students’ Factors in Influencing Willingness to Communicate in the Implementation Curriculum 2013 in English At Eleventh Grade of MAS Yati Kamang. This under graduated thesis aimed to find out dominant factors that influence students’ Willingness to Communicate (WTC) in the Implementation Curriculum 2013 at Eleventh grade of MAS Yati Kamang in Academic Year 2021/2022. It had been done at Eleventh Grade of MAS Yati Kamang because some students appeared to be hesitant to share their ideas. The other students seem nervous and not confident when the teacher asked students to raise their hands. Some students saw to avoid when the teacher ask them to go in front of the classroom using English. When the teacher asked one of students why the students were afraid come to the front of the class, and the students answered because they were afraid of being laughed by their friends and the students were afraid of being wrong. Hence, the researcher research about what were Students’ Factors in Influencing Willingness to Communicate in the Implementation Curriculum 2013 in English At Eleventh Grade of MAS Yati Kamang. The design of this research was qualitative research design. The key informants of the research were the Eleventh Students of MAS Yati Kamang, that consist of was 18 students. This research  used observation checklist and interview to collect the data. The item of observation checlist was the item of environmental, individual dimension, linguistic dimension that consist of  22 items. In analyzing the data, the researcher used data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. Based on the results of the research, the researcher find out of the main Students’ Factors in Influencing Willingness to Communicate in the Implementation Curriculum 2013 in English At Eleventh Grade of MAS Yati Kamang. So, it concluded factors that influence students’ willingness to communicate was individual dimension. Hence, it indicated that individual dimension was factor dominant that supported students’ willingness to communicate.

Drawing on a synthesis of prior empirical research, the review examines the effects of diverse technological interventions, including mobile devices, online learning environments, and educational software, on student achievement, motivation, and engagement. The review underscores the potential benefits of technology-enhanced learning, encompassing improved academic achievement, heightened engagement in learning, and augmented motivation. Additionally, the review emphasizes the significance of tailoring technology-enhanced learning environments to accommodate individual learner attributes and requirements. Furthermore, the review identifies the constraints of technology-enhanced learning and highlights directions for future research, including investigating the efficacy of such interventions for learners from various backgrounds and characteristics. The implications of the findings for policy-making and society are also deliberated.
