Threats within the network are a security risk with which you deal daily. Due to this, the use of more complex means of security than the Firewall should be considered to perform the analysis of the traffic behavior of the network by means of devices of next generation such as Systems of Detection and Prevention of Intrusions (IDPS). This article presents a comparison of commercial systems and open sources based on these devices, and thus transfer a commercial functionality to free code.

In the last 20 years the term of Big Data took strength which refers to datasets that in size exceed the ability of typical database tools to capture store manage and analyze. Big Data visual analysis is a new field that is emerging as a powerful tool for extracting useful information. This paper discusses the revision of 83 articles on visualization techniques for Big Data of the last six years for the future realization of a comparative analysis of these techniques and to determine which are the most optimistic when analyzing Big Data.

Nowadays the importance of the term DevOps (Developer Operations) has increased around the world, and Mexico is not the exception. This paper describes the implementation of information security and risk management best practices in a DevOps approach established in a Data Center of a large government organization of Mexico. The DevOps approach with security and risk management practices was named as DevSecOps + Risk Management and it aims to produce a strategy among automatize operation within the organization or enterprise using information technologies, software engineering and quality controls, so that, it allows managing work flows, version control, software product release, risk management and security reinforcement, considering people and technology.

The article describes the methodology developed for a data warehousing process developed in a Chilean University. The purpose of the process is to generate indicators of academic productivity. For this a methodology is elaborated integrating diverse approaches techniques and methodologies such as: specification of information requirements relational modeling combined development model of Kimball and Hefesto proposals process of extraction-transformation-load (ETL) with a validation phase of indicators and integrated and interactive visualizations for the multidimensional analysis of the indicators with the use of dashboards. In this process three elements incorporated that in the opinion of the development team favored the success and effectiveness of the development of the solution. Firstly how to specify key performance indicators (KPI) in detail through the development of a template based on those used to specify information requirements in a software process. Second to explain the incorporation of a validation phase of the KPI obtained in the ETL process based on SQL (Structured Query Language) and the comparison with the data of the operational systems. Also in this ETL process is established as necessary and sufficient the use of a temporary repository as an area for data integration through a relational database. Thirdly integrated visualizations configured with an On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) tool which interactively display the related indicators for the same activity under analysis. Because of this data warehousing process you get a business intelligence platform based on a DataMart model with two schemes one star and another snowflake. The first contains the indicators of teacher productivity and the second those of scientific productivity which satisfy the specifications of the KPI and defined in agreement with the end users.

Math's are fundamental in all our activities inclusive daily activities. Dominate them is a challenge to people for all the ages because all this reasons we design and implement a tool that is based in a gamification that permit trough to game to get better the math skills specifically equations of first grade. It prove that students get better skills in resolve equations of first grade using Mahi. Therefore could be a complement for all the students that are studying some course of algebra because all the practice increase the ability to resolve it.

Currently multi-agent systems represent the great potential reached by industrial technology solving highly complex problems and reducing costs. This paper deals with the analysis of the lifecycle coverage of the most relevant methodologies concerning multi-agent systems development. It aims to show that there is no standardized process for creating multi-agent systems so far and even many methodologies do not include the whole lifecycle a problem that has not allowed industry using this technology thoroughly. It is also important to mention that this research work is the first part of the creation of a framework for the design quality management of multi-agent systems. The framework will allow the creation of a quality multi-agent system independently of the chosen methodology to develop it.
