Educational Competitions to Boost the Cyber Workforce-Development 教育竞赛促进网络劳动力的发展

Cyber Defense Competitions are widely known throughout collegiate institutions. The Department of Energy and Argonne National Laboratory set out to develop a more extensive educational competition that would build up cyber workforcedevelopment for the Energy Sector. Utilizing hands-on training, the Department of Energy and the national laboratories seek to increase the effectiveness and interest in cybersecurity careers for the Energy Sector.

An Exploratory Analysis on Cybersecurity Ecosystem Utilizing the NICE Framework 基于NICE框架的网络安全生态系统探索性分析

Within the past few decades, cybersecurity has grown from individual concerns into a national-level issue. With its explosive growth, there has been an increasing demand with cybersecurity workers struggling to catch up. Government, academia, and the private sector have all taken initiatives to fulfill these needs with varying methods and levels of success. Additionally, there has been considerable amount of research for each domain spanning across multiple disciplines. However, there is currently a lack for a holistic view on cybersecurity between all three domains and the relationships that exist between them. This research paper aims to explore the current cybersecurity ecosystem to allow future researchers and practitioners to understand the full scope and broaden cybersecurity knowledge. To achieve this, we use an ontological network and identify key relationships that exist within all three domains.

An OAuth-Based Authorization Framework for Access Control in Remote Collaboration Systems 基于oauth的远程协作系统访问控制授权框架

Advanced human-computer interaction systems have made it possible for helpers (professionals) to remotely collaborate with workers (individuals seeking assistance from the professionals). For example, a professional can remotely help a worker fix automobiles or electronics, identify how much of what medication to take, or perform household repairs. We have presented a system, Collaborative Appliance for Remote-help (CARE) that allows for such collaborations. Our system allows a skilled professional or other helper to remotely access and control a worker's locally deployed resources over the Internet. These locally deployed resources may include cameras, microphones, speakers, processors, and memory. The remote helper then directs the worker to perform specific tasks to complete the job at hand. Like other Internet of Things (IoT) based systems, CARE is input-constrained. That is, a worker cannot provide input via a touch screen or keyboard. The resources are accessed over the Internet. Thus, security and privacy are big concerns. In this paper, we present the authorization and access control framework for the input-constrained CARE system. This framework has been implemented using the OAuth 2.0 Authorization Framework and has been designed to meet the needs of resource owners who have no technical knowledge. We have shown that our proposed framework is very effective and consistent with the access control guidelines set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Performance Analysis of Elliptic Curves for Real-Time Video Encryption 椭圆曲线实时视频加密性能分析

The use of real-time video streaming is increasing day-by-day, and its security has become a serious issue now. Video encryption is a challenging task because of its large frame size. Video encryption can be done with symmetric key as well as asymmetric key encryption. Among different asymmetric key encryption technique, ECC performs better than other algorithms like RSA in terms of smaller key size and faster encryption and decryption operation. In this work, we have analyzed the performance of 18 different ECC curves and suggested some suitable curves for real-time video encryption.

Moving Target Defense for Avionic Systems 航空电子系统的移动目标防御

In this paper, we address the security of new aircraft avionic systems that utilize the Internet Protocol (IP). We discuss the security issues of these systems and describe our method to improve the security of the communication between the aircraft and the ground station. The secure communication plays a critical role in being able to move forward with the next-generation flight control systems to prevent tragic events such as the 9/11 attack. Our approach uses a novel Mobile IPv6 based Moving Target Defense strategy to prevent any potential cyber-attacks from their reconnaissance stage.
