This study investigate the an experimental study on the similar design of non-domination equivalent units of the perception of dementia of elderly women in the community to give dementia management of the elderly to increase healthy and happy life. Researchers collected data from 56 women over the age of 65 from July 31 to August 31 2015 using group discussion. As a result of the homogeneity test for factors such as the Dementia Knowledge, cognitive capability and depression which are the pre-dependent variable before participating in the Dementia Prevention Program, the test shows that there is no significant difference statistically between both groups with the result value; the Dementia knowledge (t=11.28, p=.127), depression(t=16.93, p=.076), the cognitive capability(t=9.89, p=.195); but they are the homogeneous group in the US.

This study compare factors related to fear of falling among women in the early phase of old age bygrip strength. Researchers selected 1,071 women in the early phase of old age for whom grip strength data were available. In the low grip strength group, subjective health status, osteoarthritis-related lower limb pain, and grip strength accounted for 22.0% of the variance in fear of falling. In the normal grip strength group, age, subjective health status, fall experience within two years, osteoarthritis-related lower limb pain, and d epressive symptoms significantly accounted for 17.5% of the variance in fear of falling.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of reminiscence therapy on cognitive disorder in elders. We established the PICO-SD, reviewed 1761studies from database of RISS, NDSL, DBpia, National Assembly Library, KoreaMed, KMbase, KSI KISS, KCI, and finally selected 18 studies based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. With regard to research places were elderly care center, seniors welfare center etc and intervention periods ranged from 4 to 30 weeks. In addition, outcome variables were cognitive function, depression, quality of life etc. Reminiscence intervention appears to be effective in improving health for elders.

This study utilized 6 - year data that integrated the 5th (2010-2012) and the 6th (2013-2015) data of National Health and Nutrition Survey data. The purpose of this study was to identify the relative health inequalities of the elderly and the single-person households, and to improve the quality of life by enhancing the subjective health status. This is a descriptive correlative survey using secondary data to identify. The analysis of the study was conducted by composite sample frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, and hierarchical regression analysis. In summary, the educational level, the household income, and the health inequality of the employment type of the elderly over 60 and the one - person household were the factors controlling the quality of life improvement (p<.001). In conclusion, the measures to alleviate the health inequalities should provide a way for the subjects to increase their participation in education and change their perceptions. Household income guarantees minimum living cost compared to household members, and I think that they need a policy to secure stable jobs and improve health level and quality of life.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of the Ayurvedic program on the autonomic nervous system changes in 12 subjects old people using the Hall for the Elderly. The heart rate variability (HRV) was measured to measure the autonomic nervous system. This study shows significant results in sympathetic nerve (LF), parasympathetic nerve (HF), autonomic nerve (LF / HF) and physical Resistances (SDNN).The questionnaires for measuring subjective feeling also showed the following results: the body symptoms of stress were particularly noticeable in the Vāta-type constitution, the body reaction of stress was remarkable in the Kapha-type constitution, sleeping/sleepiness was high in the Pitta-type constitution, and depression stood out in Kapha-type constitution. Therefore, we confirmed that in both physical and emotional sides the Ayurveda program had a positive effect on reducing stress and depression and improving sleep quality of the old people using the center for senior citizens.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting mobility among malnourished elderly women in rural areas. Participants were 344 elderly rural women who were at high risk of malnourishment. Among the variables, muscle strength was the most influential factor. Therefore, a program should be developed to improve the mobility of elderly women in rural areas at high risk of malnourishment by improving their exercise and nutritional status, and should include psychological interventions to relieve depressive symptoms.
