Making the curriculum your own 让课程成为你自己的

This chapter is about the curriculum that you teach. As a beginning teacher you are likely to be given an outline curriculum for each year group or perhaps an examination syllabus, thus, topics are set. However, you are able to decide how that curriculum is implemented, for example, through how long you spend on each aspect of the curriculum, how deeply you explore each topic, your use of examples or through setting project and homework tasks that extend the core curriculum.

Most members of teaching and learning support staff are expected to undertake the role and responsibilities of Form Tutor. The role of Form Tutor is vital to the efficient running of the school, successful pastoral care and the delivery of the PSHE programme. The work of the tutors is closely monitored by the pastoral and progress leaders and the vice principal for attendance, behaviour and inclusion. All of these staff are accountable to the Principal and Governors of the College.
