The article presents analyses of the requirement and cost of the Automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve (aFRR) in the Kosovo Electric Power System. It is based on estimations of the maximum system load as one of the main factors to calculate the required amount of aFRR, as well as on the price of aFRR capacity in the balancing market to obtain the aFRR procurement cost. The model is constructed using deterministic methodology defined in the ENTSO-E (European Network of Transmission System Operators) manual and maximum system load in different time frames. The aim is to conclude concerning the impact of the duration of the single time interval on which base the calculations for satisfaction of the aFRR requirement are performed on the amount and cost of aFRR. This impact is illustrated with some numerical examples.

In order for an investor to make a decision to finance a specific solar system, it is necessary to estimate the payback period of the capital investment, based on the electricity produced. The final product of the solar installation is considered to be a function of the weather and climate, the installation and orientation of the panels, their shading, the slope of the terrain, their maintenance and the initial administrative costs of legalization. It is of great importance how high-quality the elements from which this photovoltaic park is built are, so that it functions most efficiently. The present study describes a methodology for the effective distribution of manufacture capacities in a high-tech enterprise in the manufacture of elements for a Photovoltaic Plant.

The real experimental benches are represented by mathematical models in Matlab-Simulink environment. The purpose of aforementioned article is providing a commentary on expected performance outcome pathway based on small businesses logistics decisions through verification of business variable indicators and in-depth analysis on working hypotheses on logistics role in the SMEs context. Focus of study is the efficiency of SMEs supply chain management and the quality level of their third-party logistic relationship. The re-search target represents Bulgarian small and medium-sized businesses. The statistics computation demonstrated approval of conducted analysis as reliable in regards of selected variables and conceptual model. The conducted factor analysis confirms the validity of the study. The calculations proved statistical significance of exercised model of linear regression and affirmed that it is applicable for predicting the impact of the factors of analysis on performance having small businesses in Bulgaria based on their decisions in the logistics field.

The aim of the work is strengthening of titanium surfaces and increase of their wear resistance by using a cheap and simple method - local contactless electrospark deposition LESD with a cylindrical rotating around its axis electrode. A new type of multicomponent coatings of We-based hard-alloy electrodes with additives of B4C and TiB2 and a bonding multimetallic mass of Ni-Cr-B-Si-Fe-C was created. The influence of process parameters and ratios between individual electrode components on the roughness, thickness, composition, structure and tribological characteristics of the coatings was studied by metallographic, profilometric, XRD, SEM, EDX and tribological methods. Dense and uniform coatings with new relief and newly formed wear resistant phases and crystal-amorphous structures were obtained. It was found that the roughness and thickness of the coatings can be varied by LESD modes in the ranges Ra =1.3÷3µ m and δ=6÷22 µm, respectively. Their microhardness ranges from 9 to 14 GPa and their wear resistance is up to 4 times higher than that of titanium substrates. It was determined the mode parameters and electrode compositions at which maximum wear resistance of the coated surfaces was obtained. The resulting dependencies enable controlling the roughness, thickness, composition and properties of coatings and significantly improving titanium surfaces.

Power electronic devices and electrical energy conversion systems are widely used in the realization of the concept of green and circular economy. In view of the ever-increasing share of the energy that is converted, the questions related to the energy indicators of electronic converters are extremely important. One of the concepts for increasing the efficiency of power circuits is the use of soft switching based on the use of resonant switches. These circuits are known as quasi-resonant. The work examines the principle of operation, the main ratios describing electromagnetic processes and a mathematical model of a quasi-resonant Zero Voltage Switching Buck DC - DC converter. Then, on the basis of numerical experiments conducted with the model, the optimal values of the resonant elements were determined with a view to minimal voltage loading of the semiconductor switches. The proposed design approach is suitable for use in power circuits for which no suitable design methodologies have been established.

This paper outlines the key requirements for digitalization of e-commerce. The main stages of technical construction of e-commerce are defined. The indicators of successful e-commerce digitization are presented and dependencies are established on the basis of which they can be determined. A methodology for selecting an e-commerce business information system from existing solutions is developed. An example of an implemented e-commerce solution based on this methodology is given.

A boost DC to DC converter is a converter with an output voltage greater than the input voltage. A boost converter is also known as a step-up converter since it “steps up” the input voltage. The paper shows the connection between boost DC-DC transistor converters and machine learning approaches. From machine learning approaches we used classification i.e., decision trees techniques. In the paper we define the boost converter and gave its equation. Then the database was described and the way we used WEKA for output prediction. At the end we discussed the obtained results.

The use of Business Information Systems is widespread in various sectors of the economy. Their application in the field of trade and retail industry is particularly strong. This was dictated by the advent of electronic and internet commerce. All this requires improving the qualifications and skills of personnel in the field of commerce, especially as regards e-commerce. This report examines the possibilities of conducting Business Information Systems training for entrepreneurs, traders and the training of personnel in the field of e-commerce. Several Business Information Systems have been reviewed and analyzed for the needs of e-commerce training.
