In the present work Fournier transform infrared (IR) spectroscopy in association with chemometric technique was employed to identify kind of tablet formulations containing paracetamol and/or caffeine as active pharmaceutical ingredients. 13 samples of 5 commercially available brand tablets of different manufacturers and batches were bayed in local pharmacies. IR spectra of samples were recorded in the range 600—4000 cm-1 and subjected to and principal component analysis (PCA) which allowed to clearly identify 5 clusters in the scores plot using the third and the second principal components, corresponding to the brands of tablets. For Paracetamol and Caffeine-sodium benzoate tablets the combination of IR spectroscopy and PCA was able to recognize the manufacturer on the basis of distance between samples in clusters in the PCA scores plot.

In this paper we propose an algorithm for the analysis of monohydric aliphatic alcohols in formation water, which makes it possible to eliminate the influence of non-polar components of oil. A sample of produced water is passed through a sorbent, removing non-polar organic compounds interfering with the analysis. In the resulting eluate add salting out agent and conduct a quantitative analysis of alcohols in the vapor phase by gas chromatography.

The explanation is given of the feasibility of using of a relatively unknown beta-albedo-absorption (BAA) technique, which was the research topic of the PHD thesis of the author, for the creation of a modern, unparalleled anywhere in the world, non-destructive testing (NDT) system to be used for the production of nanomaterials with main dimension parameters (thickness, surface density, and coating) in the nanorange, i.e., practically from zero to several hundreds of nanometers. The importance of the problem is determined by the present time intense development both in Russia and all over the world of the production of nanomaterials of different types in the practical absence of the development and production of NDT devices. Analytical expressions are given for the calculation of the main quantitative characteristics of BAA measurement geometry, namely, the radial density distribution and the integral electron backscattering coefficient at the variables of the parameters of the reflecting gas or air medium. The principle of developing the optimum measurement geometry, little dependent on changing parameters of the reflecting medium and minimizing measurement errors for BAA method, is described. The design of the developed detectors is shown. The following recommendations are given on additional experimental studies of the BAA method aiming to provide a possibility of parameter measurement in the nanorange: using the industrial beta sources with a lower value of the maximum beta spectrum energy; increasing the activity of beta sources or measurement time; using special filters for degradation of the beta source emission spectrum; and using beta radiation detectors with the largest possible measurement area.

The article presents a field experience in photogrammetric imagery and the Caucasus dolmen culture objects processing. This work objective is developing creative high quality three dimensional simple method in resource-limited settings. This approach analyzes insufficiently explored and hard-to-reach dolmen groups with interesting technical and cult elements. The objects are located in the Tuapse region: on the Mezetsu and Bzeuls ridges and on the upper of the Psynako river. As a result, we received eight high-precision models. There are seven standalone objects models and the three dolmens in these. Also, this article the collecting features and field data processing indicates. We believe our experience might be useful not in archaeology only but in other disciplines with similar objects fixing difficulties.

In this article the condition of society ecological culture formation process at the present stage is considered. Ecological culture is directed to forming of harmonious relationship between the person and the environment, the organization of any activity according to fundamental laws of the nature and the principles of sustainable development in society. Without ecological aspects in our daily life it is impossible to pass to sustainable development. In work factors of ecological culture formation process, the main aspects and problems, trends in the field of ecological culture, experience of foreign countries and also experience of Dubna city in the sphere of ecological education system creation for increase of population ecological culture level are analyzed.

On the basis of comparative analysis of long - term variations in the number of earthquakes, a number of characteristic features of the seismic regime in various geodynamic settings, including the subduction, collision, riftogenesis and spreading, are established. Among them there is a coordinated synchronous or antiphase change in the number of earthquakes for the regions within a single megastructure, coordinated changes in the activity of earthquakes at different deep levels. The data obtained indicate the systemic unity of the manifestations of the earth's seismicity and allow us to use the method of comparative analysis to identify dynamically connected volumes of the lithosphere.

Here are the results of determining the chemical composition of moss in the East Kazakhstan region. The following research stages were carried out: harvesting plant materials; methods of taking samples of the studied material for analysis; determination of the concentration of elements by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Developed methods for dry and wet ashing bioindicator. The results of the analysis of moss obtained by the ICP-MS method and the instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) method are compared. The reliability of the results of the analysis by the method of additives and photometric determination of the concentration of elements was determined.

The paper presents new data on the chemical composition of the water of Lake Beloye (FSFI «NP «Meshera», Ryazan region) for 2018, which supplement those obtained earlier – in 2013, 2014 and 2016. The choice of the method of analysis is justified – AES (OES) -ISP, as express and highly sensitive. The obtained data characterize the elemental composition of the Lake water, and are also ecological information for the state of the natural object. According to the available observations, it can be said that at present the waters of Lake Beloe are completely defined as «clean» by quality.

Moscow is a large metropolis in which the air is affected by the constant effects of chemicals produced by industrial facilities, vehicles, residential heating and other human activities on a daily basis. The protected and park areas on the territory of Moscow have an important recreational role, therefore, air quality control in these territories should be carried out first. Active moss biomonitoring has been used as an alternative method to conventional atmospheric monitoring for more than 40 years. This type of biomonitoring is successfully applied all over the world: in China, Serbia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Italy, Romania, etc. In this study, active moss biomonitoring was used for the first time on the territory of the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve to assess the air pollution. The moss species Sphagnum girgensohnii was chosen for the experiment. Neutron activation analysis was used to determine the concentrations of the elements: Na, Mg, Al, Cl, K, Ca, Sc, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Se, As, Br, Rb, Mo, Sr , Sb, Ba, Cs, La, Sm, Tb, Ce, Hf, Ta, W, Th, and U. The concentrations of Pb, Cu, and Cd were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry.
