Influence of variable cutting surface contact area on the components of cutting forces and accuracy 变切削面接触面积对切削力分量和精度的影响

The article discusses the process of diamond honing of conical holes. The purpose of the article is to identify the dependence of power in the process of cutting and the effect of changing the contact areas of the components of the cutting forces. The experiments were carried out on a developed installation to determine the cutting ability of diamond honing stones. Depen- dences of linear removal of steel 50 and steel 45 on the applied pressure have been established. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that if the value of the Py index goes beyond the limits of pure contact, then this leads to the seizure of surfaces and a deterioration in the quality of processing.

An automated diagnosis methodology for manufacturing and assembly failures of refrigerator compressors on production line using vibration data 基于振动数据的冷冻机生产线制造和装配故障自动诊断方法

This paper presents, the design of a system that performs automated detection and diagnosis of several types of failure with time-frequency (Fast Fourier Transform) based analysis of vibration data taken from hermetic compressors used in home appliances. The objective of this paper is to investigate the vibration characteristic of noisy appliances and cooling faults. Experimental studies were conducted for finding the correlation between failures and vibration data. Vibration data of appliances for the various fault cases were collected and correlation was determined between the inputs and outputs with the help of regression analysis. The fault characteristic for the huge amount of time-frequency data was transferred into a central data lake on a cloud for fault classification. Thus, characteristic algorithm was applied to automate the production process. As a result of the study, it has been revealed that the noise level of the compressors used in refrigerators with 74.41% reliability can be calculated through the vibration sensor.

Effect of bottle handle design on injection molding production parameters and usage performance 瓶柄设计对注塑生产参数及使用性能的影响

The computer-aided engineering software that performs plastic flow analysis enables the optimization of injection molding processes in a faster, more accurate, and cost-effective way instead of the trial-and-error method used in injection molding machines. In the literature, there are many studies on the moldability of injection entry point variables. In this study, unlike the literature, the synergistic effect of three different injection entry point variables such as gate location, gate concept and gate diameter is aimed to optimize the moldability and required strength values for water bottle handles. The injection moldability parameters of the bottle handles (filling time, filling pressure, temperature, frozen layer and joint line) were obtained using Moldflow Software for the optimum values of the variables of the selected High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) material. As a result of these analyses, the maximum strength values that the handles can carry at the best acceptance conditions in moldability were determined by considering the appropriate cap concept and cap diameter for the best cap filling zone. As a result of the analysis for the same process parameters, the optimum production parameters were reduced to the final two by considering the optimum parameters in breaking force and molding. Although the first design has the highest breaking force, it is not suitable for mass production due to the weight increase of 12.1%. It was concluded that the second design should be approved as it provided a 44.4% increase in breaking force while the handle weight increased by 2.1%. Cite

Managing supplier selection problem with integrated fuzzy AHP and fuzzy VIKOR: A manufacturing company case 模糊层次分析法与模糊VIKOR相结合的供应商选择管理问题:以制造企业为例

The ability of businesses to gain a strong place in the sector in which they operate is directly related to the effective management of each member of the supply chain. In the globalizing world with increasing competitive conditions, businesses have to manage their supply chains efficiently to be successful in the market. Companies should improve their strategies by rapidly adapting to the new circumstances formed by various crises such as wars, climate change, or pandemics. The high performance of a business is greatly correlated with the performance of its suppliers. Therefore, supplier selection by evaluating supplier performance is a Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) problem that simultaneously includes many qualitative and quantitative factors. In this article, the performances of the suppliers of a Turkish small-medium enterprise (SME) operating in the manufacturing sector during COVID-19 are evaluated using an integrated fuzzy MCDM technique. Despite its importance, supplier selection is less considered for SMEs. The purpose of including fuzzy logic in the study is to ensure that linguistic expressions are converted into fuzzy numbers to overcome uncertainty and subjectivity. Four supplier alternatives are evaluated by four main criteria, and in total by eleven sub-criteria determined by expert opinions. The weights of the performance criteria are obtained by the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP), and the performance ranking of the suppliers is determined by the fuzzy VIKOR. The absence of a manufacturing sector-based study on SMEs operating in Turkey during the COVID-19 period constitutes the main motivation
