This study aims to determine the effect of human resources, technology, ATONs adequacy, ATONs maintenance, ATONs replacement, and ATONs security partially and simultaneously on the reliability of ATONs at Makassar Main Port. This research was conducted from February 2019 to April 2019 at the Makassar Class I Navigation District Office with the respondent sampling technique using a simple random sampling technique, taking samples from the total number of Civil Servants at the Makassar Class I Navigation District Office as respondents to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable either partially or simultaneously. Data processing in this study used the SPSS for Windows Version 20 program. The results of this study indicate that, (1) Human resources, technology, ATONs adequacy, ATONs maintenance, ATONs replacement, and ATONs security partially have a positive and significant effect on the reliability of ATONs in Makassar Main Port. (2) Human resources, technology, ATONs adequacy, ATONs maintenance, ATONs replacement, and ATONs security simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the reliability of ATONs at Makassar Main Port.

ASPEK BIOLOGI PERIKANAN IKAN LAYANG (Decapterus Macrosoma) YANG TERTANGKAP DENGAN BAGAN RAMBO DI PERAIRAN PANTAI SUMPANG BINANGAE KABUPATEN BARRU

Flying fish is one of the dominant pelagic fish caught and has high economic value in Sumpang Binangae Waters. This fish is caught by many chart rambo fishing gear. The purpose of this study was to determine the biological aspects of flying fish especially those caught in the waters of Sumpang Binangae, Barru Regency. This research will be conducted for four months, from May 2020 to August 2020, which is located at the Sumpang binangae Fish Landing Base, Barru district. Identification of flying fish species is done visually by looking at the color and body shape and special characteristics based on the Guidelines for Practical Identification of Small Pelagic Fish Species in Figure, Suwarso, 2010, The composition of the type of catch is calculated based on the amount of catch (tonnes). Sex ratio, TKG, (Walpole 1993), Length of First-Time Gonads of Fish (Lm)The results showed that based on the composition of the types of fish caught, the percentage of the dominant catch was 27.41% mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta), 24.26% flying fish (Decapterus macrosoma), 23 anchovies (Stolephorus sp). 28%, squid (Loligo sp) by 2.24%, flying fish (Cypselurus sp) by 8.98% and tembang fish (Sardinella fimbriata) by 13%, while the type of flying fish caught was only one type, namely white-tailed flying fish. slightly yellowish (Decapterus macrosoma). Comparison of the number of male and female sex, it was found that the sex ratio of male and female Layang fish (D. macrosoma) was 52.83%: 47.17% or 1.12: 0.89, l. The size of the first maturity of male flying fish gonads in Barru waters is at the size of 15.68 cm or 156 mm and the female is at the size of 15.62 cm or 156 mm, while the male and female fish that are immature gonads are more than the fish that are mature gonads.

KAJIAN PENGELOLAAN PESISIR DAN LAUT DENGAN SISTEM ZONASI DI KAWASAN KONSERVASI PERAIRAN DAERAH KECAMATAN LIUKANG TUPPABIRING

Liukang Tuppabiring is a waters with marine biodiversity potential large enough to be developed and managed sustainably. Utilization around the coral reefs in the waters of the Liukang Tuppabiring sub-district currently tends to lead to destructive use, so it is necessary to take damage prevention measures immediately. The results showed the condition of coral cover in the medium and damaged, while at stations 1,2,3,4,6 (25,47-41.07%), while conditions were good at station 5 (56.20%). The number of individual reef fish is 290 individuals from 46 species of 22 genera 11 families. At the research location also identified one type of protected biota namely Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata). Coral damage that occurred at 6 observation stations was more caused by the practice of using destructive and environmentally unfriendly fishing equipment such as bombs, trawls, and the use of poisons. The priority strategies undertaken in the management of coral reefs at the study site are 1) Management of environmentally friendly coral reefs where the community as a manager with strong support from the Government; 2) Making clear rules related to utilization in coral reef areas and establishing a POSMAKWAS institution to avoid more severe coral damage; 3) Improve supervision and law enforcement must be firm in relation to the use of fishing gear that can damage coral reef ecosystems.

PENDUGAAN POTENSI DAN TINGKAT PEMANFAATAN IKAN LAYANG (Decapterus spp) YANG TERTANGKAP DENGAN ALAT TANGKAP BAGAN PERAHU DI PERAIRAN KABUPATEN BARRU

Barru Regency has various potentials for capture fisheries, including small pelagic fish such as flying fish (Decapterus spp). Until now, fly fishing in Barru Regency is still open access. So it is necessary to monitor the catch per unit effort. The identification of the type of catch is done visually. Data processing through the Schaefer Model approach. The results showed that the sustainable potential of flying fish in the waters of Barru Regency, Schaefer model (1954), was 6774.59 tons, the maximum sustainable fishing effort (fMSY) was 384 units. Meanwhile, JTB for the sustainable potential of flying fish is 5419.67 tons with a maximum number of fishing effort units of 212 units / year. The status of the utilization of flying fish resources in Barru Regency waters has been categorized as dense exploitation with a high level of cultivation. Even though they have not passed the MSY and Fopt values, caution is needed in their use.

The Study on Empowerment of Fishermen Communities in the Coastal Area of Kolo Village, Asakota District, Bima City, NTB Province. Supervised by Ihsan as the first mentor and Kasmawati as the second mentor.This study aims to determine: 1) the economic, social and cultural conditions of the fishing community in the coastal area of the Kolo Village 2) the factors that influence the empowerment of the fishing community in the coastal area of the Kolo Village 3) the strategy for empowering the fishing community in the coastal area of the Kolo Village The data collection method used in this research is by using primary data and secondary data. The process of obtaining primary data is carried out through interview techniques and direct observation in the field, then secondary data is obtained through the relevant agencies, in this case the Department of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, the Department of Tourism. conducting data analysis is determining the stages of activity against the data that is being and has been collected with the aim of drawing conclusions. the economic condition of the community still needs to be improved specifically to increase the income and standard of living of the fishing community. while the socio-cultural aspects of society are open. Coral reefs are one of the marine tourism potentials that need to be managed in a sustainable manner by looking at the suitability of tourism and the carrying capacity of the environment. Data on the potential for coral reefs will support government programs related to conservation and rehabilitation of coastal and marine ecosystems as a focus area for maritime research. This study aims to determine the potential and percentage of coral reef cover, know the tourism suitability index and environmental carrying capacity, know the direction of coral reef ecosystem management. The research method is using UPT (Underwater Photo Transect), as well as measurement of environmental parameters on Larea-rea Island. Data analysis using CPCe 4.1 software, and Arcgis 10.8 (Kismanto et.al, 2018). Damage to coral reef ecosystems due to environmentally unfriendly fishing activities (Wardani, 2018). The number of lifeform types ranged from 8-12, while the number of fish species obtained was 37-44 species. The suitability class category based on the results of the analysis at the three stations obtained the appropriate category (S2), with a percentage of the IKW value of 50-67% (Yulianda, 2018). Then, area carrying capacity (DDK) in the diving tourism category is an average of 528 people / day from the three stations. Management and development of marine tourism can be done by determining the zone of utilization and rehabilitation of coral reef ecosystems, as well as limiting visitors for certain periods to reduce the potential impact of environmental degradation.

This study aims to identify the types of economic activity, characteristics and perceptions of visitors, business actors, labor towards culinary businesses and to determine the multiplier effect and sustainable development strategies for culinary businesses on the economic growth of local communities. This research was conducted from November 2020 to January 2021 at the Beba Fish Landing Base, Galesong Utara, Takalar Regency. This research uses simple random sapling technique. The data of this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and field observations then analyzed descriptively and multiple impact analysis (Multiplier Effect) then analyzed using a SWOT analyst. Based on the research results, there are two types of economic activities in PPI Beba, namely, fishery activities and supporting activities (culinary business) of food made from fish as the main ingredient. In general, visitors who come to PPI Beba are aged between 45 years and over with the majority of jobs being civil servants with 51% of the total visitors as a whole the rest are entrepreneurs. While the majority of business actors are women in the age range of 40 - 50 years and over. Meanwhile, 81.8% of the culinary business workforce are women with the highest level of education in Elementary Schools. In general, the three recipes gave an assessment of the PPI Beba condition which was far from good. is the main business. The characteristics of the workforce are 74.3% female and 25.7% male, with the status of 65.7% being married and ages ranging from 28 - 45 years. And in general, visitors have a perception or give a moderate to good assessment of the accessibility to PPI Beba. Culinary efforts at PPI Beba have a real economic impact on the local community. The economic impacts arising from these activities are direct impacts, indirect impacts, and induce impacts as measured by the multiplier effect value, where the results of this study obtained a multiplier effect value of 2.15 for the Keynesian Income Multiplier; 1.10 for the income multiplier type I ratio, and 1.14 for the income multiplier type II ratio. This shows that the culinary business at PPI Beba can be developed into culinary tourism to see the opportunities that exist.

The purse seine is the dominant fishing tool at the Birea Fish Landing Base (FLB) which generally catches small pelagic fish. Handling fresh fish is an important part of the chain of the fishing industry. The problem that dominates fishermen and owners is the decline in the quality of fish caught due to fishing time at sea, so that preservation technology is needed that is able to maintain the quality of the fish longer from being caught until landed in the fishing port.The purpose of this study was to analyze the handling and quality of the purse seine fish catch and to analyze the handling and quality of the fish catch after landing from the purse seine ship. This research was conducted on a purse seine vessel in Bantaeng Regency from February to March 2020. Of the five vessels that were the object of research, vessels with better fish quality were vessels that used management with a ratio of 1: 1 meaning 1 kg for 1 kg of fish. The behavior management of fish traders in the market and the travel time from the fish caught to the market are factors that influence the effect of the decline in fish quality.

The purpose of this study was to determine the yield and type of catch, the comparison of the number of catches and the efforts to manage electronic FADs on Gill Net fishing gear. This research was conducted in Bulukumba waters from February to March 2017. Data collection was carried out by direct observation of fishermen in Bulukumba waters. The samples used in this study were FADs installed by fishermen in the waters of Bulukumba as many as 20 locations. Based on the research results, fish catches with electronic FADs ranged from 98 to 131 fish per fishing trip with a total catch of 2,324 fish. Meanwhile, the usual FAD catches ranged from 51 to 84 fish per fishing trip with a total catch of 1,313 fish and the highest type of fish was selar, followed by male mackerel, Selar bentong, white Kuwe, Layang, Barracuda, selangat and Mata goyang. The ratio between the catch and the use of electronic FADs was 64%, while the regular FADs were 36%. Coastal is the meeting area between land and sea. This study aimed to (1) calculate how much shoreline change in East Sinjai Sub-district (2) analyze the factors that influence changes in the coastline in East Sinjai District (3) formulate strategic directions for shoreline change management in East Sinjai Sub-district. Citra data processing method used Er-Mappaer and Arcgis, and management strategy direction used SWOT analysis. The results of citra interpretation showed that the shoreline change in abrasion was 9.73 Ha and accretion was 20.39 Ha. The factors that caused the changes in the coastline included waves, currents, tides and conditions of the coastal ecosystem in East Sinjai Sub-district. In the coastal management analysis, there were 4 management strategies; determined coastal conservation areas as a measure to control abrasion and sedimentation, developed strategies that referred to ICM (integrated Coastal Management), improved the quality and awareness of human resources on coastal environmental management and law enforcement and institutional strengthening in coastal management. The use of high-resolution citra required further research by adding parameters such as the type of substrate and sedimentation rate. For the government of Sinjai District to conduct a study on mitigation of coastal abrasion and sedimentation disasters.
