The focus of this research is to recognize and understand the history of the Pontianak Archdiocese Church in the course of Church history. Many people do not know the history of the Pontianak Archdiocese. However, the splendor of the Pontianak Archdiocese Church is well known, even abroad, especially in the Vatican Rome. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative methodology with a literature study approach regarding the Influence of Church History in the History of the Pontianak Archdiocese and current developments. Researchers used book sources, journal sources, and internet sources. History is an event and events that really happened in the past. The church is an association of people who follow Jesus Christ. Church history is a journey of the past of the Church that has occurred after the coming of Jesus Christ. Church history does not just appear but is a legacy of Church Fathers who were willing to be martyred in order to fight for and at the same time defend the truth of the faith. The church's mission is to bring people to God's salvation. The Pontifical Archdiocese Church has a long history, and has faced challenges and obstacles, both internally and externally. What started as the Apostolic Vicariate of Dutch Borneo, changed to the Archdiocese of Pontianak. Studying the history of the Pontianak Archdiocese Church is something that must be continued because that is where researchers get a very meaningful understanding. So this article aims to understand how the history of the Church and the history of the Pontifical Archdiocese has grown and developed today. The results of this study indicate that the Historical Journey of the Pontianak Archdiocese follows the journey of early Church history that was championed by the Church Fathers. Thus it can be concluded that the emergence of the history of the Archdiocese of Pontianak came from foreign missionaries.

Church growth is an important part of church history. One the important pillars in church growth is the cell group. The early church became a serious church in working on cell group principles as in Acts 2:46-47. The Covid-19 pandemic has made changes and shifts in the arrangement of cell groups. Before Covid 19 cell groups coulds be held in large numbers, but when the Covid 19 pandemis hit the world, cell groups could not be held in meetings with many people. The researcher is giving an explanation about the concept of cell group with the name of three party which is a simple implementation according to the principle of cell group Acts 2:46-47, especially in the present. This writing uses a descriptive literature method. The goal is that trough writing, namely : First, every believer understands the important principle in church growth through cell groups according to Acts 2:46. Second, every believer understands one of the newer models of effective cell grouping principles today. Third, every believer can implement the comsel three party concept, so that the local church experiences significant congregational growth.

Bible is the Word of God and the word is God Himself.  People of God must love the Bible because it is the Word of God; so believers must have read the Bible at least once in lifetime from Genesis to Revelation.  In fact, the love of Bible decreasingly, so it is time for the church to motivate God’s people to re-commit to love the Bible. The church with discipleship basis which always and regularly teach the word of God could fulfil the calling to equip all disciples to be matured in Him and could be the bride of Christ.  Writer used library research qualitative methodology to conclude there are ways to motivate people of God to observe His word.  Church has discipleship, Word of God learning group, build some of facilities to support People of God to learn the Bible and issue certificate for whom completely read and meditate the Word of God in certain period.

Pengajaran Rasul Paulus Tentang Memilih Pasangan Hidup Berdasarkan 2 Korintus 6:11-18

In general, researchers who discuss the Apostle Paul's teaching about spouses only base it on one verse, namely 2 Corinthians 6:14 and ignore the text of the title in this verse. The verses before and after, namely 2 Corinthians 6:11-18 have not been studied, that's why researchers are interested in discussing them. Even though this verse is very fundamental for young Christians to know, not all Christian youths read or hear this topic preached intensely in church or in various other Christian services. Likewise, Christian parents don't all read this verse or hear it preached, so parents don't teach their children the principles and standards of God's word for their children in finding a life partner. As a result, it often happens that there are believers who leave their faith in the Lord Jesus because of mistakes in choosing a life partner. The purpose of this research is to find the basic principles of the Apostle Paul's teaching about choosing a life partner based on 2 Corinthians 6:11-18, so that both Christian youths and Christian parents can make this teaching of the Apostle Paul the basic principle and standard. in choosing a life partner according to God's Word. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach. The results of research on the teachings of the Apostle Paul about life partners based on 2 Corinthians 6:11-18 are life partners that God wants are balanced, namely having faith and maintaining holiness until the holy wedding day.

The purpose of this research was to find out the importance of pastoral care for young people who are in the quarter life crisis phase. The method used is a survey with data collection techniques using questionnaires distributed to respondents and interviews. The sample used is non-probability sampling using the quota sample method. The number of questionnaires collected was 43 from the population of young people between 18-30 years of age. The results showed that some respondents agree that pastoral care is important for young people who were in the quarter life crisis phase. Some respondents of young people claimed that they needed pastoral accompaniment and trust the pastor's guidance and advice. However, there were still some of young people who feel they did not need pastoral care. This had the potential to cause problems when they went through the quarter life crisis phase.

The method used is a qualitative method with a literature study approach and biblical studies presented in descriptive form. the conclusions obtained; first, we can only love if we live in the community of God's love. second, loving each other is our form of obeying God's commands, third, loving each other is shown by a self-sacrificing attitude, fourth we can love because God loves us, it is proven that He elevates us from servants to friends, fifth, we can love because we have been chosen and appointed to go bear fruit and if the fruit remains then as a form of God's love, He will give us what we ask for.","PeriodicalId":315636,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Teologi (JUTEOLOG)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121737791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The doctrine of creation has become a focal point of debate between modern science and theologians. Thus we see that in today's developments, biblical theology has been confronted with theories that reject the historical and scientific value of the book of Genesis. Using descriptive qualitative methods, with a literature study approach, it can be concluded that evolutionism is contrary to the teachings of the Bible, it is based on the first, that there is no strong exegetical basis to make room for the evolutionary assumption that there is a measurable span of time in the process of creating the universe Second, the Bible's statement "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" ... within six days "(Genesis 1: 1, Exodus 20:20) is an indisputable biblical fact as an act of omnipotence and the majesty of God created the world from nothing. came into being by His word. Third, the doctrine of creation must be the foundation of Christian faith which is tested in the authority of the powerful Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16) and the world created by God and everything in it becomes an arena for scientific activity in the trajectory of human history that must be based on the Bible. Fourth, the creation statement Genesis 1: 1 is a refutation of various scientific theories and human philosophical views that contradict Bible truth (Gen. 1-2, Ps. 33: 4-9).

A growing church is a church that prioritizes the ministry of children, because children are the next generation of the church. However, there are indications that there are still churches that do not view children's services as important and make them a priority for programs, funding, facilities and infrastructure. Service priority is more for adult services, compared to child services. This indicates that the church does not understand Holistic Ministry based on the Synoptic Gospels. Children's ministry is a very important service and requires adequate human resources support, both in terms of quantity and quality. In fact, there are indications that the Church still suffers from a lack of quality human resources, both in terms of calling and quality in carrying out child services, weak basic vocations, PPA human resources do not understand the development of the current situation so that the approach to fostering children is not appropriate. From the various problems that the researcher described above, the researcher believes that apart from these problems, the background factors of PPA children aged 14-19 years have a role in the implementation of Child Holistic Services based on the Synoptic Gospels. These backgrounds include: educational age background, economy, ethnicity, and length of time participating in PPA. For this reason, the researcher wrote a dissertation entitled: "Explanatory and Confirmatory Holistic Services based on the Synoptic Gospels among PPA Children aged 14-19 years in the Solo Cluster" to obtain empirical data from these problems and produce implications and suggestions for the development of PPA in the Solo Cluster.
