Effects of PWM Dimming LED Illumination on Camera Images and Countermeasures PWM调光LED照明对相机图像的影响及对策

This paper presents the analysis of brightness fluctuation for camera images under the PWM dimming LED Illumination environment and countermeasures against it. The exposure dose of a camera, which depends on PWM frequency and duty, exposure time and shooting instant of a camera, and video frame rate, was analyzed using a computer simulation program. As a result, it was found that the brightness fluctuation did not occur in most cases when the PWM frequency of LED lighting was at a frequency of 24 kHz or its multiple. The experimental results confirmed the effectiveness of proposed brightness fluctuation prevention measures.

Model Predictive Torque Control of a Switched Reluctance Drive with Heat Dissipation Balancing in a Power Converter 功率变换器中带散热平衡的开关磁阻驱动模型预测转矩控制

The switched reluctance machines are known for their torque pulsations. The precise torque control is usually implemented by varying commutation angles and applying direct torque control. But still the problem of pulsation occurs during phase change. This paper proposes a model predictive direct torque control method, which cost function takes into account both torque and current control including heat dissipation balancing in a power converter. The proposed control strategy was examined using a simulation model and provides precise torque control. Heat dissipation balancing helps to equalize power modules temperature increasing the maximum output power of the power converter.

Critical infrastructure adaptive computer control of standard and smart subsystems 关键基础设施自适应计算机控制标准和智能子系统

The interruptions in the Critical Infrastructure services may rise as interruptions of production, service as well as damaging of production lines. The size, geographical distribution as well as complexity of critical infrastructures require additional systems for the control and monitoring of CIS on requested level. Municipal networks: water distribution, district heating, sewage networks etc. operate under harsh environmental conditions, however, being a part of the Critical Infrastructure they have to meet reliability and safety requirements. Their maintenance municipal networks depend on the data collected on their status, and the decisions on due corrective actions. Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) or Proactive Maintenance (PM), rather than scheduling maintenance actions, which are based on operating hours and servicing volume, promises to be more reliable and even more effective. Thus, PM requires the effective combination of data collection, analysis, presentation and decision making processes. The modular wireless sensor network based solutions was designed that incorporates selectable communication interfaces, which integrate supplementary monitoring subsystems in this line in order to have different service control and feedback control.

The development and manufacturing of the “Electrical power systems equipment designer” element base on the basis of the downsized copies of the existing power plants and substations equipment are aimed at improving the material and technical supplementation of educational processes for training power industry specialists. Provided the array of prototypes of 35, 110, 220, 330 and 500 kV current transformers in the scale range of 1/2 to 1/10, it becomes possible to produce the downsized equipment using original materials and to ensure the full integration of the designer. The implementation of the solution allows to guarantee the high accuracy and resemblance of the equipment. It also reveals the possibility to use the existing substations and power plants in miniature, with their further placement in any classrooms, i.e. transfer the educational process from cyber domain into the material one.

Capacitive proximity sensing hardware comparison 电容式接近传感硬件比较

In this paper, different hardware solutions for proximity sensing are reviewed. The purpose of the review is to find the most accurate sensing method with the option to process raw data and to extend the system beyond one sensor. During the research proximity sensing system, derived from commercially available solutions, have been made. The developed system is intended to be used in the industrial environment to ensure safety of the humans working near heavy, moving equipment.

Effect of Double-Slope Modulation Signals on Conducted Emissions and Efficiency of Strongly Coupled Magnetic Resonance WPT Systems 双斜率调制信号对强耦合磁共振WPT系统传导发射和效率的影响

conducted electromagnetic emissions (EME) and efficiency of strongly coupled magnetic resonance wireless power transfer (WPT) systems with double-slope modulation signals are studied in details using simulations. It is shown that WPT systems with double-slope ramp modulation waveforms compared to WPT systems with conventional ramp modulation waveforms have slightly higher efficiency and appreciably lower conducted EME levels. In order to get maximum EME suppression when double-slope modulation waveform is used optimum value of a parameter controlling slopes of a ramp signal should be found.

Evaluation of opportunities of balanced discharge of batteries in cost effective assisting powered wheelchair 电池平衡放电在辅助电动轮椅中的应用价值评估

This paper deals with the problem of discharge balancing of batteries in case of using multilevel converters as power electronic driver for segmented permanent magnet synchronous machine. Several topologies of multilevel converters are described and analyzed. With the help of MATLAB-Simulink model two cases of battery discharge using multilevel converters are simulated. It can be concluded, that in case with multilevel inverter with independent sources when battery cell connection to H-bridge modules is binary weighted battery cells discharge faster, than in case when all batteries connected to H-bridge modules are equal.

Energy Efficiency Barriers in Latvian Industry 拉脱维亚工业的能源效率障碍

This study elaborates the current practice of industrial energy efficiency barrier analysis by identifying industrial energy efficiency barriers in Latvian manufacturing companies as well as researching barrier interactions. Survey analysis, statistical analysis and factor analysis methods are integrated to transform the qualitative barrier characterizing data into quantitative factors. The differences between the “implementers” and the “non-implementers” of energy efficiency measures are compared based on gathered data about their energy efficiency barriers and drivers. Data were gathered in a dedicated survey of stakeholders (owners or company managers) of 40 Latvian industrial companies.

Power network topology optimization based on multiobjective evolutionary approach 基于多目标进化方法的电网拓扑优化

The paper presents a novel approach to power network optimization, considering the criteria of short-circuit currents, voltage levels, current-carrying capacity of power transmission lines and transformers, static stability margins. The presented approach is analyzed with other research works in the sphere under consideration. Practical verifications of the proposed methodology is carried out on the basis of real power network, given real dispatch and technological constraint of the power equipment.

Particle Swarm Optimization Method for Solving an Economic Dispatch Problem 求解经济调度问题的粒子群优化方法

This paper presents the use of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) method for solving the economic dispatch problem in power systems. The paper presents the fundamental basis for implementing the PSO algorithm in Matlab and applying it for generation cost functions, considering the operation parameters with practical constraints. The code is tested by considering a simple case of the economic dispatch problem that is formulated by smooth functions for related generating units. The results and performance of the PSO method are presented. The results show that the evolutionary algorithm is fast for obtaining sufficiently accurate results, but it depends on the initial assumptions and setup as well as the parameters for arriving at the optimal solution in a competitive timeframe.
