Recommender systems exploit users' ratings to infer their preferences in order to propose recommendations of items that match up with users' interests. Recently, online movie review sites have combined RS and social media. However, in these sites, ratings can have different meaning for users: users may choose one criterion or another. Thus, users' ratings might not be reliable enough to infer their preference in this context. In this study, we find that users may rate movie either by referring to perceived movie quality and/or by referring to their own preferences. Furthermore, users chose different criteria in different contexts. We discuss how users' ratings can be interpreted more precisely in order to improve the performance of recommender systems.

With the development of Internet and the use of digital pedagogy, the production of open educational resources grows very quickly. Sharing these resources has become a major challenge both from an economic point of view, but also for the dissemination and sharing of practices among teachers. The problematics are psychologic (help for learning), ergonomic (usability, acceptability) but also documentary (reuse resources) and editorial (enhancement of digital archives). Based on an ontology developed by University of Oxford and translated in French, we developed a digital archive of open educational resources for teaching statistics. We present and discuss ebook enrichment scenarios in undergraduate statistics courses. We present how this ontology-based approach allows thinking enriched ebooks as an adaptive and collaborative learning device.

This article examines the possible narrative dimension of cultural data in digital libraries. On the one hand, it examines the specific forms of editorialization that are virtual exhibitions. Data security and privacy protection have been identified as one of the most critical issues of the Internet of Things (IoT). They represent one of the major obstacles to its adoption. Researchers have addressed the matter by extensive work on protection algorithms and mechanisms. However, setting up privacy preferences is still a complicated task for users. Understanding their impact on personal data is also hard to grasp for non-technical users. Continuing our previous work, we present in this article a first implementation of our precedent model and how to use it for a representation that allows users to configure their privacy preferences graphically.

Notre projet de recherche s'inscrit dans le contexte du Groupe Orange, entreprise française de télécommunications, qui a inscrit la transformation digitale dans ses axes stratégiques et a placé la gouvernance de l'information parmi ses enjeux majeurs. Mené dans le cadre de notre thèse de doctorat, le projet porte sur les pratiques informationnelles des dirigeants des unités de réseau. Il cherche à modéliser les pratiques informationnelles des dirigeants dans l'espace de travail numérique et à identifier les facteurs les influençant. Dans ce but, nous avons conduit 22 entretiens en nous appuyant sur la méthodologie de la théorisation enracinée et la méthodologie de construction de sens. Ce texte présente le projet de thèse dans sa phase intermédiaire avec la problématique, la méthodologie de l'étude, un premier état de l'art et les étapes à suivre. Les résultats de l'étude seront présentés prochainement.
