The present study shows the link between recorder works by Luis Mercy and the other from Johann Christoph Pepusch. The works are: Six Solos for a Flute with a Thorough Bass for the Harpsicord or Violoncello from Mercy and A Second Set of Solos for the Flute with A Through Bass for the Basson, Bassflute or Harpsicord from Pepusch. In these works we can find correspondences between seven movements of four different sonatas by Pepusch and three by Mercy. The correspondences can appear in the form of ornamentation of complete movements or the simple use of shared themes. The study of the biographies of these two composers alow us to conclude that Mercy was familiar with the works of Pepusch, at least the ones composed for recorder. With this information and the close observation of the scores, we can establish that Mercy relies on the work of Pepusch to ornament and transform it at his pleasure, using it to give more visibility to the sound and virtuosistic possibilities of his instrument the recorder.

Zusammenfassung: Nichtsteroidale Antirheumatika (NSAR) entfalten ihre antiphlogistischen Wirkungen sowie viele Nebenwirkungen über eine Hemmung der Cyclooxygenase (COX), dem Schlüsselenzym der Prostaglandinbiosynthese. Seit kurzem ist bekannt, daß mindestens 2 Isoenzyme der Cyclooxygenase mit unterschiedlicher physiologischer Regulation und Funktion existieren. Während die COX-1 ein für wichtige Zellfunktionen (z. B. in Niere und Gastrointestinaltrakt) notwendiges konstitutiv vorhandenes Enzym ist, wird die induzierbare COX-2 hauptsächlich für pathophysiologische Prozesse (z. B. Entzündung) verantwortlich gemacht. Aufgrund dieser Differenzierung hofft man auf die Entwicklung neuartiger nebenwirkungsärmerer NSAR auf der Basis einer selektiven COX-2-lnhibition. Zahlreiche In-vitro-Untersuchungen haben gezeigt, daß es derzeit selektive allerdings noch nicht im Handel befindliche COX-2-Hemmer gibt, die sich auch im Tierversuch durch gute antiphlogistische Wirkung sowie durch eine geringe Inzidenz an unerwünschten Wirkungen im Gastrointestinaltrakt auszeichneten. Weitere experimentelle und klinische Untersuchungen, hauptsächlich bezüglich neuer, NSAR-untypischer unerwünschter Wirkungen, müssen allerdings den künftigen Stellenwert von selektiven COX-2-Hemmern für die Therapie rheumatischer Erkrankungen kritisch hinterfragen.

The using of Computer-Based Training (CBT) method and multif,redia technology like CD-ROM can improve education and learning quality.This report is for development of CBT software (Pakej Pembelajaran Matapelajaran Kemahiran Hidup untuk Pelaiar Tinglmtan.I) especially for the student lower secondary school. These development system suitable the student thinking and using the computer in era information technology. The interfaces are very important to develop this project and my project using development iteratively such as Rational Unffied Process (RUP) as a methodology to get the best result. The implementation of the RUP methodology and UML technique managed the software design phase perfectly. In the end, I hope this project can gives a benefit to student in the future.
